Annexure-I

DPWCS Grouping Instructions for WAG-7 Loco (both MPCS & Non-MPCS)

Ensure the Keys/Switches & Coc Positions as per the table

For Fabricated Pneumatic panel:-

For Triplate Pneumatic panel:-

All the parameters of the above Table remains same Except BV OUT Valve. The BV out
valve COC positions for Triplate panel fitted locos are given below.

COC LEAD REMOTE


BV OUT - “A” CLOSE OPEN
In Series with BV out Valve
BV OUT - “B” OPEN CLOSE
In Parallel with BV out Valve

TO CONFIGURE AS REMOTE

• In both Working Cab & Non-Working Cab place A9 Handle and SA9 Handle RELEASE.
• Charging MR up to 10 kg/cm2 and Keep the BL key, Panto Key in OFF position and Direction in
Neutral.
• A8 (LT, ¾” ) COC in Close, MU2B in Lead, Both cabs Control COC in Close.
• BIU in Activite position and BV OUT COC Open position.
• Switch ON DPWCS MCB.
• LOGIN SCREEN: Enter Driver ID and press DOWN key Password (2400) and press DOWN key
& Train Number and press ENTER key

• CONFIGURATION SCREEN: Click on DPWCS Setup (key5), Select REMOTE (key2) and press
Down key Select Working Cab direction (Cab 1 Front or Cab2 Front), and press Down key
Enter LEAD LOCO Number and press ENTER
• For Conformation press (Key 4) and select YES, Then Press INITIATE (Key 1)

TO CONFIGURE AS LEAD

• Both locomotives should be connected in same consist and Train should be in standstill condition
and Loco Brake (BC) should be in applied condition& maintain MR10 kg/cm2.
• In Working Cab Put A9 Handle in Run, SA9 Handle in RANGE (Apply).
• In Non - Working Cab Put A9 Handle in NEUTRAL, SA9 Handle in Release.
• Switch on DPWCS MCB.
• LOGIN SCREEN: Enter Driver ID and press DOWN key Password (2400) and press DOWN key
& Train Number and press ENTER key
• CONFIGURATION SCREEN: Click on DPWCS Setup (key5), Select LEAD (key1) and press Down
key Select Working Cab direction (Cab 1 Front or Cab2 Front), and press Down key Enter No
of REMOTE LOCOS then press down key
Enter REMOTE LOCO Number then press down key Select (Key 1) for WAGON SELECTION,
select (key2) for NO WAGON & then Press ENTER Key
• For Conformation press (Key 4) and select YES, Then Press INITIATE (Key 1)
• APPLY BRAKE FULL SERVICE FOR BP CONTINUTY CHECK message will appear on screen, Put A9 into FS
(Application).
• Put A9 to Release position after getting message RELEASE BRAKE FOR BP CONTINUTY CHECK. Then
both locomotives status will appear on lead loco DDU.

NEUTRAL SECTION NEGOTIATION

• Press the NSN Button provided on the Driver Display Unit on crossing 250M or 500M Warning Board.
• Open the DJ at Open Board & Close the DJ at Close Board.
• The remote locomotive will open its DJ before the open Board and Close after the DJ close board
automatically. Relevant message will be displayed on DDU for loco pilot.

UNGROUPING
• Train must be in standstill condition and loco brake should be applied.
• Lead locomotive, Press “Ungroup DPWCS” and press “Yes” to confirm the Ungroup request
