 GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR COVERAGE

For Meetings and Visits

⇒ Film general views, arrivals, handshakes, large shots and medium shots of EC Varhelyi and Guests.
No close ups. No camera movements. Each shot of video should be of 04 seconds minimum.

For Speeches, Statements or Live Transmissions:

⇒ FULL REC of the press statements, with camera on tripod, and for sound connect to channel 01 for
original audio and channel 02 for translations if any. Please also record sound with an external mic in
case there is no sound box to connect.

FILMING AND DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

⇒ Filming format is HD 1080i50 - INTERLACED - PAL 25fps - AUDIO STEREO

⇒ Export format is MP4 file, H.264 codec, INTERLACED (top field first), bitrate between
10-12Mbits, audio stereo

⇒ File transfer goes by playout or to our WeTransfer PRO account, from location, as soon as
the event/meeting is over: https://ins.wetransfer.com/ (no login or password required)

⇒ ALL programme updates (timing change, cancellation, delays, etc) MUST be notified on
the WhatsApp group chat.

⇒ ALL the content you will film is for immediate publication and broadcast on the Europe by
Satellite platform (European Commission AV service). So communication and content
delivery must be observed with high priority.

⇒ Please note that all filmed footage is exclusive content of EbS (Europe by Satellite)
