TASK ACTIVITIES:

Induction / Orientation
-The induction and orientation process was about getting to
know the organization and the staff members in the
administration department. I had the opportunity to learn and get
to know about how the health organization operates.
-I was introduced to the head of the finance department, Puan
Surianti Binti Ishak, the accounting assistant who is my
immediate supervisor. I was briefly taught how the finance
department operates.
-I was introduced to the way the organization records its
transactions under supervision. The organization mainly uses a
government accounting system called iGFMAS. The training
was helpful in that it helped me understand the way the
company records its transactions and how they are running its
budgeting.

TASK ACTIVITIES:

Training
-This week I was introduced to the way the company records its
transactions under supervision. I was placed at the Hasil
department where they collected patients charged amounts on
services provided. This helped me understand the coding
involved in which the services are provided and how payments
are processed that also depositing is involved. Each service is
coded in its own charges code.
-I learned how to write up the reminder letter on collecting the
unpaid charges for patients that have been discharged and were
involved in calculating the report of unpaid charges that must be
sent regularly every month to the headquarters.

TASK ACTIVITIES:

-Updating the reminder letter on collecting the unpaid charges


for patients that have been discharged.
-Collecting the daily revenue for patients’ discharge bills. Being
supervised on closing the daily revenues.
-Learning and supervised journal records for false receipts.

TASK ACTIVITIES:

- Collecting the daily revenue for patients’ discharge bills. Being


supervised on closing the daily revenues.
- Learning how to submit the ‘Akaun Belum Terima’ report for
the uncollected bills for discharging patients.
- I have been introduced to the reporting sheet to fill in and how
to calculate the uncollected payment and ‘Bayaran Balik’ for
unauthorized emolument.
- Updating the reminder letter on collecting the unpaid charges
for patients that have been discharged.

TASK ACTIVITIES:

-This week I was placed in the Kewangan department where


they handled the payroll, claims, and analyst analysis
transaction accounts to evaluate expenses and advise
management on how they can best minimize cost. This helped
me understand the activities and how they are operating.
-I learnt that Kewangan exercises cash accounting base
modification, an accounting method that recognizes and records
a transaction when cash is received or paid during that
accounting period. Under this method, asset expenses were not
modernized and liability was not reported in a financial
statement, all expenses will be used for allocation of the current
year and payment made up to the month of January of the
following year.

TASK ACTIVITIES:

-This week I was introduced on how the Mileage Claims been calculated and
managed. Checking for the completeness and accuracy the claims from officer that
entitled the claims and transfer it to the accounting system for payment to them.
-I had the opportunity to learn from the beginning claims process until the claims
received. Also, there are some challenges and false that I managed to overcome.
