Good day! My name is Nemiah Althea, I am Serafin’s granddaughter, your sponsored aging

from the Philippines. I wrote this letter on his behalf due to his old age and eyesight. It is so hard for

him to write a letter. However, this is not a worrisome issue because I assure you that he is doing so

fine.

How are you right now? I hope that the both of you are in a fine condition while you’re

reading my letter. My grand father is doing fine in here with me. He likes to watch television and

staying on our balcony to rest on his spare time. Whenever he wakes up in the morning, the first thing

he dose is to open the television but when he is bored he would take a walk a little just to help him

exercise his body. When it is dark, he will go back to his small house and I will offer him some food

and water for his as his meal. Whenever he is hungry, we would give him some money so he can buy

himself all he wanted to eat. But of course, we would also give him a mask to put on his mouth before

he leaves the house.

If it is already in the morning, I will take the empty plates and glasses- the ones where I put

his food last night and then give him a new water refill. Then afternoon comes, that time he will sleep

for a moment and after he sleeps I will gave him his milk and a bread.

He likes to listen to the radio while sleeping. Sometimes he is also sweeping some trash at our

backyard. He loves to wear his red hat wherever he goes. My grand father likes watching TV shows

with my uncle. My grand father also likes to wear his favorite red stripes polo shirt with his black and

yellow shorts.

He is not quite talkative, but when you try talking to him about a lot of topic he won’t stop

himself talking.

And also he likes to eat bananas, he likes it so much! If we buy some bananas from the

market, it will be consumed in just one day because when he goes to our balcony to rest, he will take

one piece at a time and another again when he goes back to his small house. I would even gave him

some as well whenever I serve his meal.

 You must have heard that we got a typhoon here in the Philippines but we are fine in here and

so is my grand father. He even helps me when picking up some logs and fetching water. My grand

father also helps me to water the plants every afternoon.

He always tries to help us in any way but of course I am also there to watch over him if ever

he needs something. If he is bored I will just open the TV so that his stress it will be his relieved. If i

got some free time, I also wash our clothes because he is unable to do that chore.

My grandfather tries his best to help us in the house. He also enjoys his leisure time and is a

very funny grandfather. Spending my time with him is enjoyable and worthwhile. If you want more to
