1.Title of the movie/series.
-Extraordinary Attorney Woo
2.Describe the main character.
-Woo Young-woo a lawyer with autism whose father is her only parent. She only
has one school friend, Dong Geu-ra-mi, who is an eccentric girl and stands up for
her against bullies. She is the top student in her school which is Seoul National
University law school and graduated in class with flying colors. She is autistic,
thus nobody will hire her, however, she got her first position at Hanbada, a sizable
Seoul legal firm, thanks to her Father's influence. Because of her sharp intellect
and photographic memory, Attorney Woo is able to remember laws and anything
she reads, observes, or hears with absolute clarity.
3. What was his/her exceptionality? Describe.
-Her exception was having an autism spectrum disorder. But due to her IQ she
graduated as the top in her class despite having a disorder.
4. What problems/difficulties did the main character experience?
-She experienced difficulties in expressing her emotions to other people since
she was in school. Aside from that her whole life while studying she was always
getting bullied.But right after she worked in a law firm she slowly stepped out of
her comfort zone which is to be silent always, however Attorney Young Woo
struggles to comprehend societal norms and conventions in her work.
5. Who provided support? What support did he/she get from his/her
environment?
-Young Woo feels comfortable and protected with Geu Ra Mi since she has been
her friend since college, stood up for her whenever she was being bullied,
supported her throughout her life, and served as her other half in any situation. In
addition to her BFF, she has her adoring father Woo Gwang Ho, who graduated
from the same law school at Seoul National University as her but chose not to
pursue a career. Instead, he decided to look after Young Woo, who means a
great deal to him.
