(Graham, 2021)
a. Many people risk losing their personal identity while attempting to

cases early to be tackled effectively.
a. 8,313 incidents of cybercrime involving the theft of about RM300 million
from victims were reported to the police between January and October 3
of last year and 10,203 incidents of this type were reported in 2017,
resulting in losses of around RM184.2 million. (Muzaffar, 2019)

C. Cashless society increases cybercrime as online banking system is still struggle with
hcyber security flaws

changing their mobile phone number to a SIM under the attacker’s control
(Muncaster,2022)
b. In any mobile phone, poor authentication usually becomes the main
cause of information theft and illegal access to sensitive data. (Basatwar,
2022)
2. Banks did not guide their customers to understand their security system.
a. Educate consumers to shift from using basic security protection into
features such as multi-factor authentication, SMS or email alerts and
monitoring. (Reza,2022)
