1 Check dimension of columns with approved drawing. (L * B X*H)
2 Check orientation and position of column
3 Check column/pedestrial position with axial drawings
4 Formwork material should be strong enough to withstand against
load of concrete
5 Formwork should be water tight
6 Check verticality of the column shutters
7 check the right angles at the corners of column shutters
8 Formwork support should be strong enough to withstand load of
concrete
9 Check the number, dimension and position of bars
10 Check all reinforcement bars are free from crack and clean
11 check all rebars properly burnt and fixed
12 Check Leg-of column properly provided and fixed
13 check spacing for column stirrup
14 Check binding wire properly fixed
15 Check cover blocks properly placed at sides of column
16 Stirrup lock should be as per standard drawings and positioned in
opposite directions
17 check for cleaning of pieces of binding wires,nails, dirt, dust, wooden
pieces etc removed
18 Check accessibility to column
19 Check tools, machinery such as vibrator, shovel, trowel and other
necessary items available
20 Check specifiacation of concrete
21 Check placing and compacting of concrete as per specification
22 check Electrical works
23 check Mechanical works ( plumbing, AC ducts & pipes )
