2 Surah Al Baqarah 30 December 2021
2:1 ا ٓل ٓم
2:3 صلَ ٰوةَ َو ِم َّما َر َز ْق ٰنَهُ ْم يُنفِقُونَ ٱلَّ ِذينَ يُْؤ ِمنُونَ بِ ْٱل َغ ْي ِ
ب َويُقِي ُمونَ ٱل َّ
ُأ ُأ
2:4 ك َوبِٱأْل ِخ َر ِة هُ ْم يُوقِنُونَ َوٱلَّ ِذينَ يُْؤ ِمنُونَ بِ َمٓا ِ
نز َل ِإلَ ْيكَ َو َمٓا ِ
نز َل ِمن قَ ْبلِ َ
ٓ ٓ
2:5 ك َعلَ ٰى هُدًى ِّمن َّربِّ ِه ْم َوُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك هُ ُم ْٱل ُم ْفلِحُونَ ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
2:6 ِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا َس َوٓا ٌء َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َءَأن َذرْ تَهُ ْم َأ ْم لَ ْم تُن ِذرْ هُ ْم اَل يُْؤ ِمنُونَ
2:8 اس َمن يَقُو ُل َءا َمنَّا بِٱهَّلل ِ َوبِ ْٱليَوْ ِم ٱأْل ِخ ِر َو َما هُم بِ ُمْؤ ِمنِينَ
َو ِمنَ ٱلنَّ ِ
2:9 يُ ٰ َخ ِد ُعونَ ٱهَّلل َ َوٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َو َما يَ ْخ َد ُعونَ ِإٓاَّل َأنفُ َسهُ ْم َو َما يَ ْش ُعرُونَ
2:10 فِى قُلُوبِ ِهم َّم َرضٌ فَ َزا َدهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ َم َرضًا َولَهُ ْم َع َذابٌ َألِي ۢ ٌم بِ َما َكانُوا يَ ْك ِذب َ\
ُون
2:13 وَِإ َذا قِي َل لَهُ ْم َءا ِمنُوا َك َمٓا َءا َمنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُ ٓوا َأنُْؤ ِمنُ َك َمٓا َءا َمنَ ٱل ُّسفَهَٓا ُء َأٓاَل ِإنَّهُ ْم هُ ُم ٱل ُّسفَهَٓا ُء َو ٰلَ ِكن اَّل يَ ْعلَ ُمونَ
2:14 وَِإ َذا لَقُوا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا قَالُ ٓوا َءا َمنَّا َوِإ َذا خَ لَوْ ا ِإلَ ٰى َش ٰيَ ِطينِ ِه ْم قَالُ ٓوا ِإنَّا َم َع ُك ْم ِإنَّ َما نَحْ نُ ُم ْستَه ِْزءُونَ
ٓ
2:16 ض ٰلَلَةَ بِ ْٱلهُد َٰى فَ َما َربِ َحت تِّ ٰ َج َرتُهُ ْم َو َما َكانُوا ُم ْهتَ ِدينَ ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك ٱلَّ ِذينَ ٱ ْشتَ َر ُوا ٱل َّ
2:21 ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱ ْعبُدُوا َربَّ ُك ُم ٱلَّ ِذى خَ لَقَ ُك ْم َوٱلَّ ِذينَ ِمن قَ ْبلِ ُك ْم لَ َعلَّ ُك ْم تَتَّقُونَ
2:23 ص ِدقِينَ ب ِّم َّما نَ َّز ْلنَا َعلَ ٰى َع ْب ِدنَا فَْأتُوا بِسُو َر ٍة ِّمن ِّم ْثلِ ِهۦ َوٱ ْدعُوا ُشهَدَٓا َء ُكم ِّمن د ِ
ُون ٱهَّلل ِ ِإن ُكنتُ ْم ٰ َ وَِإن ُكنتُ ْم فِى َر ْي ٍ
2:24 َت لِ ْل ٰ َكفِ ِرين
ْ فَِإن لَّ ْم تَ ْف َعلُوا َولَن تَ ْف َعلُوا فَٱتَّقُوا ٱلنَّا َر ٱلَّتِى َوقُو ُدهَا ٱلنَّاسُ َو ْٱل ِح َجا َرةُ ُأ ِع َّد
ُزقُوا ِم ْنهَا ِمن ثَ َم َر ٍة ر ِّْزقًا قَالُوا ٰهَ َذا ٰ َّ ٰ َوبَ ِّش ِر ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َو َع ِملُوا ٱل
2:25 ِ ت تَجْ ِرى ِمن تَحْ تِهَا ٱَأْل ْن ٰهَ ُر ُكلَّ َما ر ٍ َّت َأ َّن لَهُ ْم َجن
ِ صلِ ٰ َح
ٰ ٰ
َُز ْقنَا ِمن قَ ْب ُل َوُأتُوا بِِۦه ُمتَ َشبِهًا َولَهُ ْم فِيهَٓا ْز ٰ َو ٌج ُّمطَهَّ َرةٌ َوهُ ْم فِيهَا خَ لِ ُدون
َأ ِ ٱلَّ ِذى ر
And give the glad tidings to those who attained to belief and toiled in accordance with the divine
lexicon, that to them belong concealed abodes of understanding, ‘beneath which rivers flow’:
Every time they are sustained within them (i.e., the ‘Jannaat’) with fruits they say: “This is what
we have been sustained with before, and they (the doubters mentioned in Ayas 2:23-24) were
beaten (i.e., outdone, deluded) by the similarity of its appearance.” And to them, in the concealed
abodes of understanding, are available pristine pairs (of divine lexicon terms and their
indications), and they are “K̇ālidūn” therewithin!
Duaa translation: in enclosed abodes of understanding, wherein we enjoy pristine pairs of terms
and indications, while we slumber (before sleep) within
2:26 َق ِمن َّربِّ ِه ْم َوَأ َّما ٱلَّ ِذين ُّ ُوضةً فَ َما فَوْ قَهَا فََأ َّما ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا فَيَ ْعلَ ُمونَ َأنَّهُ ْٱل َح
َ ب َمثَاًل َّما بَع َ ى َأن يَضْ ِر ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ اَل يَ ْستَحْ ِٓۦ
ٰ ْ
َضلُّ بِ ِٓۦه ِإاَّل ٱلفَ ِسقِين
ِ ُضلُّ بِ ِهۦ َكثِيرًا َويَ ْه ِدى بِِۦه َكثِيرًا َو َما ي ٰ هَّلل َأ
ِ َُكفَرُوا فَيَقُولُونَ َما َذٓا َرا َد ٱ ُ بِهَ َذا َمثَاًل ي
Allahh does not seek to create hardship in life, by singling out any parable, (this is a
parenthetical clause) for groups among Banī IssrāꜤīl, who incite disagreement (i.e., people who
sow divisions by biting and injecting misleading information), for, (they accept) nothing above
them! (i.e., this group arrogantly rejected those that Allahh elevated above them!) And thus, as
for those who attain to belief, they have the evidence-based knowledge that it (i.e., this divine
declaration from Allahh) is the truth from their lord. And as to those who rejected, they say:
‘What did Allahh want (to convey) with this parable?’ He (Allahh) uses it to misguide many
people, and he uses it to guide many, but he uses it to misguide only the deviants;
… With this declaration, he (Allahh) misguides many and guides many…
ٓ
2:27 َ ض ُأو ٰلَِئ
َك هُ ُم ْٱل ٰ َخ ِسرُون َ ٱلَّ ِذينَ يَنقُضُونَ َع ْه َد ٱهَّلل ِ ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ِمي ٰثَقِ ِهۦ َويَ ْقطَعُونَ َمٓا َأ َم َر ٱهَّلل ُ بِ ِٓۦه َأن يُو
ِ ْص َل َويُ ْف ِس ُدونَ فِى ٱَأْلر
They (i.e., the “Ba3ūḍa”, those who rejected, the many whom Allahh misguides, and the
deviants) renege on (i.e., renounce, violate) the covenant of Allahh after it has been established
with them, and they disjoint that which Allahh commanded to be linked (i.e., in the scripture),
and they corrupt in the scripture. Those are the losers
2:28 ََك ْيفَ تَ ْكفُرُونَ بِٱهَّلل ِ َو ُكنتُ ْم َأ ْم ٰ َوتًا فََأحْ ٰيَ ُك ْم ثُ َّم يُ ِميتُ ُك ْم ثُ َّم يُحْ يِي ُك ْم ثُ َّم ِإلَ ْي ِه تُرْ َجعُون
How can you (i.e., the BaƐūḍah) reject Allahh, after you have been (spiritually) dead, but then he
revived you, and then he deadens you (again), and then revives you (again), and then to him you
shall ‘return.’
” How could you deny Allahh, knowing that you were dead, and He brought you to life, and then
He shall cause you to die, and then bring you to life (again), and then to Him you shall return?
ٓ ٰ ق لَ ُكم َّما فِى ٱَأْلرْ ض َج ِميعًا ثُ َّم ٱ ْست ََو
ٍ ى ِإلَى ٱل َّس َمٓا ِء فَ َس َّو ٰىه َُّن َس ْب َع َس ٰ َم ٰ َو
ت َوهُ َو بِ ُكلِّ َش ْى ٍء َعلِي ٌم َ َه َُو ٱلَّ ِذى َخل
2:29 ِ
He is the one who created for you (the BaƐūḍah) all that is in the scripture, (Notice: No
Samaawaat), and then, afterwards, he (Allahh) became balanced (in your cognition, only when
what is in the scripture is interpreted) towards the abstract understanding (above the scripture),
and thus, he (Allahh) balanced them into seven layers of understanding, while he (Allahh)
provides (direct) evidence for knowledge about everything (in the scripture)
ٓ
2:30 ُ ِض خَ لِيفَةً قَالُ ٓوا َأتَجْ َع ُل فِيهَا َمن يُ ْف ِس ُد فِيهَا َويَ ْسف
َ ك ٱل ِّد َمٓا َء َونَحْ نُ نُ َسبِّ ُح بِ َح ْم ِد
ك ِ ْاع ٌل فِى ٱَأْلر ِ ك لِ ْل َم ٰلَِئ َك ِة ِإنِّى َج
َ ُّوَِإ ْذ قَا َل َرب
َأ
َك قَا َل ِإنِّ ٓى ْعلَ ُم َما اَل تَ ْعلَ ُمون َ ََونُقَدِّسُ ل
And when your lord said to the angels (in prior scriptures): “I always establish a successor
steward in the scripture.” They (the BaƐūḍah) retorted, saying: “You are allowing in it people
who will corrupt it and who will cause bloodshed,
(Definitely NOT the angels questioning Allahh) “While we perform in accordance with your
ways and praises, and while we perform flawlessly, as you command us.” (Definitely NOT the
angels bragging and reminding Allahh) He (Allahh) said: “I expose the evidence for knowledge
that you do not know.” (i.e., there shall be new knowledge that comes from Allahh, when
permitted by Allahh)
(Definitely NOT Allahh speaking to the angels)
ٓ
2:31 َ ٰ ضهُ ْم َعلَى ْٱل َم ٰلَِئ َك ِة فَقَا َل َأ ۢنبِـُٔونِى بَِأ ْس َمٓا ِء ٰهَُٓؤٓاَل ِء ِإن ُكنتُ ْم
َص ِدقِين َ َو َعلَّ َم َءا َد َم ٱَأْل ْس َمٓا َء ُكلَّهَا ثُ َّم َع َر
And (later) he taught ādam (i.e., Muḥammad) the labels, all of them, (i.e., both the divine lexicon
as well as the BaƐūḍah’s concocted lexicon) and then he (Allahh) subjected them (the BaƐūḍah,
as well as the new stewards) to the (standards given through the) angels. And thus, he (ādam, i.e.,
Muḥammad) said to them (in the QurꜤān): “ ‘Tell’ me the labels (i.e., the locution, the divine
lexicon) of these (angels who brought the QurꜤān), if you are truthful.’
They (the BaƐūḍah, as well as the Khalīfah, AND the angels) said: “(O Allahh) We follow but
your way! No knowledge do we possess except that which you have taught us! “Indeed, you
(Allahh) are the one who teaches and you are the source of the linguistic discernment!”
ٓ
2:34 َ ِوَِإ ْذ قُ ْلنَا لِ ْل َم ٰلَِئ َك ِة ٱ ْس ُجدُوا أِل َد َم فَ َس َجد ُٓوا ِإٓاَّل ِإ ْبل
َيس َأبَ ٰى َوٱ ْستَ ْكبَ َر َو َكانَ ِمنَ ْٱل ٰ َكفِ ِرين
And when we said to the angels, ‘Prostrate in submission to ādam,’ and thus, they prostrated in
submission except Iblees (who did not submit): He refused and was conceited, and was among
the rejecters.
ٰ ُ َوقُ ْلنَا ٰيَٓـَٔا َد ُم ٱ ْس ُك ْن َأنتَ َو َزوْ جُكَ ْٱل َجنَّةَ َو ُكاَل ِم ْنهَا َر َغدًا َحي
2:35 َْث ِشْئتُ َما َواَل تَ ْق َربَا ٰهَ ِذ ِه ٱل َّش َج َرةَ فَتَ ُكونَا ِمنَ ٱلظَّلِ ِمين
And we said: “O ādam! Persist, you and your counterpart in Jannah, and nourish yourself from it
in abundance wherever you two choose, and do not go near this “shajarah” (seeking knowledge
from this group of argumentative deceivers; i.e., the “ba3ūḍah”), for, then, you will be among the
transgressors (like them).
2:37 َاب َعلَ ْي ِه ِإنَّهۥُ هُ َو ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱل َّر ِحي ُم ٍ فَتَلَقَّ ٰ ٓى َءا َد ُم ِمن َّربِِّۦه َكلِ ٰ َم
َ ت فَت
And then ādam received from his lord some key expressions, and thus, he (Allahh) granted him a
cessation (from his earlier mistakes). Indeed he (Allahh) is the grantor of cessation (from sins),
the merciful.
2:38 َف َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َواَل هُ ْم يَحْ زَ نُون َ قُ ْلنَا ٱ ْهبِطُوا ِم ْنهَا َج ِميعًا فَِإ َّما يَْأتِيَنَّ ُكم ِّمنِّى هُدًى فَ َمن تَبِ َع هُدَا
ٌ ْى فَاَل خَ و
And we said: “Come down from it (from the state of access to Jannahh), all of you, but then, if
ever you receive direct guidance from me, then those who follow my guidance: Upon them there
shall be no fear nor shall they grieve! ”
ٓ
2:39 َار هُ ْم فِيهَا ٰخَ لِ ُدون َ َوٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا َو َك َّذبُوا بِـَٔا ٰيَتِنَٓا ُأو ٰلَِئ
ِ َّك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ ٱلن
And those who reject and belie our signs: Those are the companions of the fire. In it they abide,
‘khālidūn’.
2:41 ص ِّدقًا لِّ َما َم َع ُك ْم َواَل تَ ُكونُ ٓوا َأ َّو َل َكافِ ۭ ٍر بِ ِهۦ َواَل تَ ْشتَرُوا بِـَٔا ٰيَتِى ثَ َمنًا قَلِياًل َوِإ ٰيَّ َى فَٱتَّقُو ِن َو َءا ِمنُوا بِ َمٓا َأن َز ْل ُ
ت ُم َ
2:43 صلَ ٰوةَ َو َءاتُوا ٱل َّز َك ٰوةَ َوٱرْ َكعُوا َم َع ٱل ٰ َّر ِك ِعينَ
َوَأقِي ُموا ٱل َّ
2:44 اس بِ ْٱلبِ ِّر َوتَن َسوْ نَ َأنفُ َس ُك ْم َوَأنتُ ْم تَ ْتلُونَ ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
ب َأفَاَل تَ ْعقِلُونَ َأتَْأ ُمرُونَ ٱلنَّ َ
2:45 صلَ ٰو ِة وَِإنَّهَا لَ َكبِي َرةٌ ِإاَّل َعلَى ْٱل ٰ َخ ِش ِعينَ َوٱ ْست َِعينُوا بِٱل َّ
صب ِْر َوٱل َّ
2:46 ٱلَّ ِذينَ يَظُنُّونَ َأنَّهُم ُّم ٰلَقُوا َربِّ ِه ْم َوَأنَّهُ ْم ِإلَ ْي ِه ٰ َر ِجعُونَ
2:47 ت َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َوَأنِّى فَض َّْلتُ ُك ْم َعلَى ْٱل ٰ َعلَ ِمينَ ٰيَبَنِ ٓى ِإ ْس ٰ َٓر ِء َ
يل ْٱذ ُكرُوا نِ ْع َمتِ َى ٱلَّتِ ٓى َأ ْن َع ْم ُ
2:48 س َش ْيـًٔا َواَل يُ ْقبَ ُل ِم ْنهَا َش ٰفَ َعةٌ َواَل يُْؤ َخ ُذ ِم ْنهَا َع ْد ٌل َواَل هُ ْم يُن َ
صرُونَ َوٱتَّقُوا يَوْ ًما اَّل تَجْ ِزى نَ ْفسٌ عَن نَّ ْف ٍ
2:49 ب يُ َذبِّحُونَ َأ ْبنَٓا َء ُك ْم َويَ ْستَحْ يُونَ نِ َسٓا َء ُك ْم َوفِى ٰ َذلِ ُكم بَٓاَل ٌء ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم
وَِإ ْذ نَ َّج ْي ٰنَ ُكم ِّم ْن َءا ِل فِرْ عَوْ نَ يَسُو ُمونَ ُك ْم س ُٓو َء ْٱل َع َذا ِ
َع ِظي ٌم
2:50 وَِإ ْذ فَ َر ْقنَا بِ ُك ُم ْٱلبَحْ َر فََأن َج ْي ٰنَ ُك ْم َوَأ ْغ َر ْقنَٓا َءا َل فِرْ عَوْ نَ َوَأنتُ ْم تَنظُرُونَ
2:51 وَِإ ْذ ٰ َو َع ْدنَا ُمو َس ٰ ٓى َأرْ بَ ِعينَ لَ ْيلَةً ثُ َّم ٱتَّخ َْذتُ ُم ْٱل ِعجْ َل ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ِهۦ َوَأنتُ ْم ٰ َ
ظلِ ُمونَ
2:54 ارِئ ُك ْم فَٱ ْقتُلُ ٓوا َأنفُ َس ُك ْم ٰ َذلِ ُك ْم َخ ْي ٌر لَّ ُك ْم ِعن َد
وَِإ ْذ قَا َل ُمو َس ٰى لِقَوْ ِمِۦه ٰيَقَوْ ِم ِإنَّ ُك ْم ظَلَ ْمتُ ْم َأنفُ َس ُكم بِٱتِّخَا ِذ ُك ُم ْٱل ِعجْ َل فَتُوب ُٓوا ِإلَ ٰى بَ ِ
َاب َعلَ ْي ُك ْم ِإنَّهۥُ هُ َو ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلر ِ
َّحي ُم ارِئ ُك ْم فَت َ
بَ ِ
2:57 ت َما َرزَ ْق ٰنَ ُك ْم َو َما ظَلَ ُمونَا َو ٰلَ ِكن َكانُ ٓوا َأنفُ َسهُ ْم يَ ْ
ظلِ ُمونَ َوظَلَّ ْلنَا َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْٱل َغ َما َم َوَأنزَ ْلنَا َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْٱل َم َّن َوٱلس َّْل َو ٰى ُكلُوا ِمن طَيِّ ٰبَ ِ
2:58 اب ُس َّجدًا َوقُولُوا ِحطَّةٌ نَّ ْغفِرْ لَ ُك ْم َخ ٰطَ ٰيَ ُك ْم َو َسن َِزي ُد وَِإ ْذ قُ ْلنَا ٱ ْد ُخلُوا ٰهَ ِذ ِه ْٱلقَرْ يَةَ فَ ُكلُوا ِم ْنهَا َحي ُ
ْث ِشْئتُ ْم َر َغدًا َوٱ ْد ُخلُوا ْٱلبَ َ
ْٱل ُمحْ ِسنِينَ
2:59 فَبَ َّد َل ٱلَّ ِذينَ ظَلَ ُموا قَوْ اًل َغ ْي َر ٱلَّ ِذى قِي َل لَهُ ْم فََأن َز ْلنَا َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ َ
ظلَ ُموا ِرجْ ًزا ِّمنَ ٱل َّس َمٓا ِء بِ َما َكانُوا يَ ْف ُسقُونَ
2:66 َفَ َج َع ْل ٰنَهَا نَ ٰ َكاًل لِّ َما بَ ْينَ يَ َد ْيهَا َو َما َخ ْلفَهَا َو َموْ ِعظَةً لِّ ْل ُمتَّقِين
2:67 َوَِإ ْذ قَا َل ُمو َس ٰى لِقَوْ ِم ِٓۦه ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَْأ ُم ُر ُك ْم َأن ت َْذبَحُوا بَقَ َرةً قَالُ ٓوا َأتَتَّ ِخ ُذنَا هُ ُز ًوا قَا َل َأعُو ُذ بِٱهَّلل ِ َأ ْن َأ ُكونَ ِمنَ ْٱل ٰ َج ِهلِين
when Mūssā said to his community: "Allah commands you to ‘taẑbaḥū’ a cow." They said: "Do
you take us in ridicule (i.e., Are you perverting our divine lexicon)?" He said: "I seek refuge in
Allahh against being among “Al-Jāhilīn”, the ignorants (i.e., the ones who ignore or pervert the
divine lexicon)."
They said: "Call upon your lord, on our behalf, to identify, in accordance with our ways, what it
is." He said: "He says: 'It is a cow which is neither old nor virgin, but median between that,' so
do what you are commanded."
They said: "Call upon your lord, on our behalf, to identify, in accordance with our ways, what
her color is." He said: "He says: 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color, pleasing to the observers.'"
2:70 َك يُبَيِّن لَّنَا َما ِه َى ِإ َّن ْٱلبَقَ َر تَ ٰ َشبَهَ َعلَ ْينَا َوِإنَّٓا ِإن َشٓا َء ٱهَّلل ُ لَ ُم ْهتَ ُدون ُ قَالُوا ٱ ْد
َ َّع لَنَا َرب
They said: "Call upon your lord, on our behalf, to identify, in accordance with our ways, what it
is. Indeed, the cattle have caused confusion to us! But we assure you that, Allahh willing, we are
seeking to be guided."
2:71 ِّ ث ُم َسلَّ َمةٌ اَّل ِشيَةَ فِيهَا قَالُوا ْٱلَٰٔـنَ ِجْئتَ بِ ْٱل َح
ق فَ َذبَحُوهَا َو َما َ ْض َواَل تَ ْسقِى ْٱل َحر
َ ْال ِإنَّ ۥهُ يَقُو ُل ِإنَّهَا بَقَ َرةٌ اَّل َذلُو ٌل تُثِي ُر ٱَأْلر
َ َق
ََكادُوا يَ ْف َعلُون
He said: "He says: 'It is a cow that is neither submissive to excite (i.e., plow) the earth nor to
irrigate the cultivated crops; one free from ownership disputes with no blemish upon her.'" They
said: "Now you have come with the truth." And they slaughtered her, but they almost did not.
And whatever they schemed in the past, they(still) do.
َْٰٔ
2:72 َوَِإ ْذ قَت َْلتُ ْم نَ ْفسًا فَٱ ٰ َّدرتُ ْم فِيهَا َوٱهَّلل ُ ُم ْخ ِر ٌج َّما ُكنتُ ْم تَ ْكتُ ُمون
2:74 ُ َّار ِة َأوْ َأ َش ُّد قَ ْس َوةً َوِإ َّن ِمنَ ْٱل ِح َجا َر ِة لَ َما يَتَفَ َّج ُر ِم ْنهُ ٱَأْل ْن ٰهَ ُر َوِإ َّن ِم ْنهَا لَ َما يَ َّشق
ق َ ِت قُلُوبُ ُكم ِّم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ٰ َذل
َ ك فَ ِه َى َك ْٱل ِح َج ْ ثُ َّم قَ َس
ُ ٰ هَّلل هَّلل ُ ْ
َفَيَ ْخ ُر ُج ِم ْنهُ ٱل َمٓا ُء َوِإ َّن ِم ْنهَا لَ َما يَ ْهبِط ِم ْن َخ ْشيَ ِة ٱ ِ َو َما ٱ ُ بِ َغفِ ٍل َع َّما تَ ْع َملون
2:75 َق ِّم ْنهُ ْم يَ ْس َمعُونَ َك ٰلَ َم ٱهَّلل ِ ثُ َّم يُ َح ِّرفُونَ ۥهُ ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد َما َعقَلُوهُ َوهُ ْم يَ ْعلَ ُمون ْ َأفَت
ٌ َط َمعُونَ َأن يُْؤ ِمنُوا لَ ُك ْم َوقَ ْد َكانَ فَ ِري
2:76 ْض قَالُ ٓوا َأتُ َح ِّدثُونَهُم بِ َما فَت ََح ٱهَّلل ُ َعلَ ْي ُك ْم لِيُ َحٓاجُّو ُكم بِ ِهۦ ِعن َد ُ وَِإ َذا لَقُوا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا قَالُ ٓوا َءا َمنَّا َوِإ َذا خَ اَل بَ ْع
ٍ ضهُ ْم ِإلَ ٰى بَع
ََربِّ ُك ْم َأفَاَل تَ ْعقِلُون
2:77 ََأ َواَل يَ ْعلَ ُمونَ َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَ ْعلَ ُم َما يُ ِسرُّ ونَ َو َما يُ ْعلِنُون
2:78 َى َوِإ ْن هُ ْم ِإاَّل يَظُنُّون َ ََو ِم ْنهُ ْم ُأ ِّميُّونَ اَل يَ ْعلَ ُمونَ ْٱل ِك ٰت
َّ ِب ِإٓاَّل َأ َمان
And among them are some who do not know their own books, because they do not possess
evidence-based knowledge about the scripture except in accordance with their (indoctrination)
schemas (i.e., indoctrination-derived mental framework), and they only guess.
Among them are “Ummis” who are not familiar with their scripture except wishes
ت َأ ْي ِدي ِه ْم َو َو ْي ٌل لَّهُم 2:79 ُون ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
ب بَِأ ْي ِدي ِه ْم ثُ َّم يَقُولُونَ ٰهَ َذا ِم ْن ِعن ِد ٱهَّلل ِ لِيَ ْشتَرُوا بِ ِهۦ ثَ َمنًا قَلِياًل فَ َو ْي ٌل لَّهُم ِّم َّما َكتَبَ ْ فَ َو ْي ٌل لِّلَّ ِذينَ يَ ْكتُب َ\
ِّم َّما يَ ْك ِسبُونَ
2:80 َوقَالُوا لَن تَ َم َّسنَا ٱلنَّا ُر ِإٓاَّل َأيَّا ًما َّم ْعدُو َدةً\ قُلْ َأتَّخ َْذتُ ْم ِعن َد ٱهَّلل ِ َع ْهدًا فَلَن ي ُْخلِفَ ٱهَّلل ُ َع ْه َد ٓۥهُ َأ ْم تَقُولُونَ َعلَى ٱهَّلل ِ َما اَل تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ
ٓ
2:81 ار هُ ْم فِيهَا ٰخَ لِ ُدونَ ت بِ ِهۦ خَ ِط ٓيـَٔتُ ۥهُ فَُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ ٱلنَّ ِ ب َسيَِّئةً َوَأ ٰ َحطَ ْ
بَلَ ٰى َمن َك َس َ
ٓ
2:82 ت ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ ْٱل َجنَّ ِة هُ ْم فِيهَا ٰخَ لِ ُدونَ َوٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َو َع ِملُوا ٱل ٰ َّ
صلِ ٰ َح ِ
2:83 ٱهَّلل َ َوبِ ْٱل ٰ َولِ َد ْي ِن ِإحْ َسانًا َو ِذى ْٱلقُرْ بَ ٰى َو ْٱليَ ٰتَ َم ٰى َو ْٱل َم ٰ َس ِك ِ
ين َوقُولُوا لِلنَّ ِ
اس ُح ْسنًا ق بَنِ ٓى ِإس ٰ َْٓر ِءي َل اَل تَ ْعبُ ُدونَ ِإاَّل خَذنَا ِمي ٰثَ َ
وَِإ ْذ َأ ْ
ْرضُونَقَلِياًل ِّمن ُك ْم َوَأنتُم ُّمع ِ صلَ ٰوةَ َو َءاتُوا ٱل َّز َك ٰوةَ ثُ َّم تَ َولَّ ْيتُ ْم ِإاَّلَوَأقِي ُموا ٱل َّ
2:84 خَذنَا ِمي ٰثَقَ ُك ْم اَل تَ ْسفِ ُكونَ ِد َمٓا َء ُك ْم َواَل تُ ْخ ِرجُونَ َأنفُ َس ُكم ِّمن ِد ٰيَ ِر ُك ْم ثُ َّم َأ ْق َررْ تُ ْم َوَأنتُ ْم تَ ْشهَ ُدونَ
وَِإ ْذ َأ ْ
2:85 ثُ َّم َأنتُ ْم ٰهَُٓؤٓاَل ِء تَ ْقتُلُونَ َأنفُ َس ُك ْم َوتُ ْخ ِرجُونَ فَ ِريقًا ِّمن ُكم ِّمن ِد ٰيَ ِر ِه ْم تَ ٰظَهَرُونَ َعلَ ْي ِهم بِٱِإْل ْث ِم َو ْٱل ُع ْد ٰ َو ِن َوِإن يَْأتُو ُك ْم ُأ ٰ َس َر ٰى
ك ِمن ُك ْم ِإاَّل ِخ ْز ٌ
ى ْض فَ َما َجزَ ٓا ُء َمن يَ ْف َع ُل ٰ َذلِ َ ب َوتَ ْكفُرُونَ بِبَع ٍ ْض ْٱل ِك ٰتَ ِ
تُفَدُوهُ ْم َوه َُو ُم َح َّر ٌم َعلَ ْي ُك ْم ِإ ْخ َرا ُجهُ ْم َأفَتُْؤ ِمنُونَ بِبَع ِ
ٰ
ُ ٰ هَّلل
ب َو َما ٱ ُ بِ َغفِ ٍل َع َّما تَ ْع َملونَ ْ َأ ٰ ْ ْ
فِى ٱل َحيَ ٰو ِة ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َويَوْ َم ٱلقِيَ َم ِة يُ َر ُّدونَ ِإلَ ٰ ٓى َش ِّد ٱل َع َذا ِ
ٓ
2:86 صرُونَ ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك ٱلَّ ِذينَ ٱ ْشتَ َر ُوا ْٱل َحيَ ٰوةَ ٱل ُّد ْنيَا بِٱلْ َءا ِخ َر ِة فَاَل يُ َخفَّفُ َع ْنهُ ُم ْٱل َع َذابُ َواَل هُ ْم يُن َ
ُس َأفَ ُكلَّ َما َجٓا َء ُك ْم ٰ ب َوقَفَّ ْينَا ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ِهۦ بِٱلرُّ ُس ِل َو َءاتَ ْينَا ِعي َسى ٱ ْبنَ َمرْ يَ َم ْٱلبَيِّ ٰنَ ِ َولَقَ ْد َءاتَ ْينَا ُمو َسى ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
2:87 ُوح ْٱلقُد ِ
ت َوَأيَّ ْدنَهُ بِر ِ
ى َأنفُ ُس ُك ُم ٱ ْستَ ْكبَرْ تُ ْم فَفَ ِريقًا َك َّذ ْبتُ ْم َوفَ ِريقًا تَ ْقتُلُونَ َرسُو ۢ ٌل بِ َما اَل تَ ْه َو ٰ ٓ
… We reinforced him with the divine messenger from the Holy…
And we allowed Ɛīssā, son of Maryam, to learn the ‘Bayyināt’ (instruments for extracting
…evidence), and we endorsed him with the support of the divine emissary of the holy
2:89 ق لِّ َما َم َعهُ ْم َو َكانُوا ِمن قَ ْب ُل يَ ْستَ ْفتِحُونَ َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا فَلَ َّما َجٓا َءهُم َّما ع ََرفُوا َولَ َّما َجٓا َءهُ ْم ِك ٰتَبٌ ِّم ْن ِعن ِد ٱهَّلل ِ ُم َ
ص ِّد ٌ
َكفَرُوا بِِۦه فَلَ ْعنَةُ ٱهَّلل ِ َعلَى ْٱل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ
2:90 ب بِْئ َس َما ٱ ْشتَ َروْ ا بِ ِٓۦه َأنفُ َسهُ ْم َأن يَ ْكفُرُوا بِ َمٓا َأنزَ َل ٱهَّلل ُ بَ ْغيًا َأن يُنَ ِّز َل ٱهَّلل ُ ِمن فَضْ لِِۦه َعلَ ٰى َمن يَ َشٓا ُء ِم ْن ِعبَا ِد ِهۦ فَبَٓا ُءو بِغ َ
َض ٍ
ب َولِ ْل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ َع َذابٌ ُّم ِه ٌ
ين ض ٍ َعلَ ٰى َغ َ
نز َل َعلَ ْينَا َويَ ْكفُرُونَ بِ َما َو َرٓا َءهۥُ َوهُ َو ْٱل َح ُُّأ
2:91 ص ِّدقًا لِّ َما َم َعهُ ْم قُلْ فَلِ َم
ق ُم َ وَِإ َذا قِي َل لَهُ ْم َءا ِمنُوا بِ َمٓا َأن َز َل ٱهَّلل ُ قَالُوا نُْؤ ِمنُ بِ َمٓا ِ
تَ ْقتُلُونَ َأ ۢنبِيَٓا َء ٱهَّلل ِ ِمن قَ ْب ُل ِإن ُكنتُم ُّمْؤ ِمنِينَ
… Say (O ̣Muḥammad): “Why, then, do you destroy (the knowledge of) the earlier prophets of
”?Allahh, if you are believers
2:92 ت ثُ َّم ٱتَّخ َْذتُ ُم ْٱل ِعجْ َل ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ِهۦ َوَأنتُ ْم ٰظَلِ ُمونَ
َولَقَ ْد َجٓا َء ُكم ُّمو َس ٰى بِ ْٱلبَيِّ ٰنَ ِ
2:93 ص ْينَا َوُأ ْش ِربُوا فِى قُلُوبِ ِه ُم ْٱل ِعجْ َل خَذنَا ِمي ٰثَقَ ُك ْم َو َرفَ ْعنَا فَوْ قَ ُك ُم ُّ
ٱلطو َر ُخ ُذوا َمٓا َءاتَ ْي ٰنَ ُكم بِقُ َّو ٍة َوٱ ْس َمعُوا قَالُوا َس ِم ْعنَا َو َع َ وَِإ ْذ َأ ْ
ْأ
بِ ُك ْف ِر ِه ْم قُلْ بِْئ َس َما يَ ُم ُر ُكم بِ ِٓۦه ِإي ٰ َمنُ ُك ْم ِإن ُكنتُم ُّمْؤ ِمنِينَ
2:96 اس َعلَ ٰى َحيَ ٰو ٍة َو ِمنَ ٱلَّ ِذينَ َأ ْش َر ُكوا يَ َو ُّد َأ َح ُدهُ ْم لَوْ يُ َع َّم ُر َأ ْلفَ َسنَ ٍة َو َما ه َُو بِ ُمزَ حْ ِز ِحِۦه ِمنَ ْٱل َع َذا ِ
ب ص ٱلنَّ ِ َولَت َِج َدنَّهُ ْم َأحْ َر َ
ُ ۢ َأن يُ َع َّم َر َوٱهَّلل ُ بَ ِ
صي ٌر بِ َما يَ ْع َملونَ
2:97 ص ِّدقًا لِّ َما بَ ْينَ يَ َد ْي ِه َوهُدًى َوبُ ْش َر ٰى لِ ْل ُمْؤ ِمنِ َ\
ين ك بِِإ ْذ ِن ٱهَّلل ِ ُم َ
قُلْ َمن َكانَ َع ُد ًّوا لِّ ِجب ِْري َل فَِإنَّ ۥهُ نَ َّزلَ ۥهُ َعلَ ٰى قَ ْلبِ َ
ٓ
2:98 َمن َكانَ َع ُد ًّوا هَّلِّل ِ َو َم ٰلَِئ َكتِ ِهۦ َو ُر ُسلِ ِهۦ َو ِجب ِْري َل َو ِمي َك ٰى َل فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َع ُد ٌّو لِّ ْل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ
And when a messenger came to them, sent by Allahh, correcting that which is with them, a group
among those who have been given an opportunity to learn the message of the scripture kept the
scripture from Allahh behind their backs (i.e.) hidden, pretending as that they do not have access
to evidence-based knowledge.
2:10 ََولَوْ َأنَّهُ ْم َءا َمنُوا َوٱتَّقَوْ ا لَ َمثُوبَةٌ ِّم ْن ِعن ِد ٱهَّلل ِ خَ ْي ٌر لَّوْ َكانُوا يَ ْعلَ ُمون

2:10 ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا اَل تَقُولُوا ٰ َر ِعنَا َوقُولُوا ٱنظُرْ نَا َوٱ ْس َمعُوا َولِ ْل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ َع َذابٌ َألِي ٌم

1
i.e., Sulaymān did not ignorantly mutter words and talismans, but he was using the divine lexicon taught to him
by Allahh
2:10 َّما يَ َو ُّد ٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا ِم ْن َأ ْه ِل ْٱل ِك ٰتَ ِ
ب َواَل ْٱل ُم ْش ِر ِكينَ َأن يُنَ َّز َل َعلَ ْي ُكم ِّم ْن َخي ٍْر ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم َوٱهَّلل ُ يَ ْختَصُّ بِ َرحْ َمتِ ِهۦ َمن يَ َشٓا ُء
5 َوٱهَّلل ُ ُذو ْٱلفَضْ ِل ْٱل َع ِظ ِيم
The rejecters among the cohorts of the scripture, and those who associate with Allahh do not
wish that any correct understanding is made accessible to you from your lord. And Allahh
singles out his mercy to anyone who chooses (to seek it), and Allahh is the one with the
prevalent beneficence.
Any sign that we abrogate (in your worldview) or make you forget, we shall bring deeper
understanding out of it or a deeper understanding from another one like it. Did you not know that
?Allahh provides measured apportionments (of elucidation) atop every part of the Quran
2:10 ير
َص ٍ ت َوٱَأْلرْ ِ
ض َو َما لَ ُكم ِّمن دُو ِن ٱهَّلل ِ ِمن َولِ ٍّى َواَل ن ِ َألَ ْم تَ ْعلَ ْم َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ لَ ۥهُ ُم ْل ُ
ك ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو ِ
7
2:10 يل َأ ْم تُ ِري ُدونَ َأن تَ ْسـَٔلُوا َرسُولَ ُك ْم َك َما ُسِئ َل ُمو َس ٰى ِمن قَ ْب ُل َو َمن يَتَبَ َّد ِل ْٱل ُك ْف َر بِٱِإْل ي ٰ َم ِن فَقَ ْد َ
ض َّل َس َوٓا َء ٱل َّسبِ ِ
8
2:10 ب لَوْ يَ ُر ُّدونَ ُكم ِّم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ِإي ٰ َمنِ ُك ْم ُكفَّارًا َح َسدًا ِّم ْن ِعن ِد َأنفُ ِس ِهم ِّم ۢن بَ ْع ِد َما تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ ُم ْٱل َح ُّ
ق فَٱ ْعفُوا َو َّد َكثِي ٌر ِّم ْن َأ ْه ِل ْٱل ِك ٰتَ ِ
9 َوٱصْ فَحُوا َحتَّ ٰى يَْأتِ َى ٱهَّلل ُ بَِأ ْم ِر ِٓۦه ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َعلَ ٰى ُك ِّل َش ْى ٍء قَ ِدي ٌر
2:11 صلَ ٰوةَ َو َءاتُوا ٱل َّز َك ٰوةَ َو َما تُقَ ِّد ُموا َأِلنفُ ِس ُكم ِّم ْن خَ ي ٍْر تَ ِجدُوهُ ِعن َد ٱهَّلل ِ ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ بِ َما تَ ْع َملُونَ بَ ِ
صي ٌر َوَأقِي ُموا ٱل َّ
0
﴾And they said: Only Jews or Christians shall enter paradise. Such is their unfounded wishes.
﴿!Say: Bring forth your proof if you are truthful
2:11 بَلَ ٰى َم ْن َأ ْسلَ َم َوجْ هَ ۥهُ هَّلِل ِ َوهُ َو ُمحْ ِس ٌن فَلَ ٓۥهُ َأجْ ُر ۥهُ ِعن َد َربِّ ِهۦ َواَل خَ وْ ٌ
ف َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َواَل هُ ْم يَحْ َزنُونَ
2
Indeed, whoever submits fully to Allah while seeking to improve himself: Such people shall
receive their reward from their lord and shall not suffer fear nor sadness.
2:11 ب َك ٰ َذلِ َ
ك قَا َل ٱلَّ ِذينَ ت ْٱليَهُو ُد َعلَ ٰى َش ْى ٍء َوهُ ْم يَ ْتلُونَ ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َص َر ٰى لَ ْي َس ِت ٱلنَّ ٰ َ
ص َر ٰى َعلَ ٰى َش ْى ٍء َوقَالَ ِ ت ٱلنَّ ٰ َت ْٱليَهُو ُد لَ ْي َس ِ
َوقَالَ ِ
3 ُ ْ َ ٰ ْ ُ هَّلل ْ
اَل يَ ْعلَ ُمونَ ِمث َل قوْ لِ ِه ْم فٱ ُ يَحْ ك ُم بَ ْينَهُ ْم يَوْ َم ٱلقِيَ َم ِة فِي َما كانوا فِي ِه يَختَلِفونَ
ُ َ َ
ٓ
2:11 ظلَ ُم ِم َّمن َّمنَ َع َم ٰ َس ِج َد ٱهَّلل ِ َأن ي ُْذ َك َر فِيهَا ٱ ْس ُمهۥُ َو َس َع ٰى فِى َخ َرابِهَٓا ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك َما َكانَ لَهُ ْم َأن يَ ْد ُخلُوهَٓا ِإاَّل خَ ٓاِئفِينَ لَهُ ْم َو َم ْن َأ ْ
4 أْل
ى َولَهُ ْم فِى ٱ ِخ َر ِة َع َذابٌ َع ِظي ٌم فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا ِخ ْز ٌ
2:11 ق َو ْٱل َم ْغ ِربُ فََأ ْينَ َما تُ َولُّوا فَثَ َّم َوجْ هُ ٱهَّلل ِ ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ ٰ َو ِس ٌع َعلِي ٌم
َوهَّلِل ِ ْٱل َم ْش ِر ُ
5
2:11 ض ٰ ٓى َأ ْمرًا فَِإنَّ َما يَقُو ُل لَ ۥهُ ُكن فَيَ ُكونُ ت َوٱَأْلرْ ِ
ض َوِإ َذا قَ َ بَ ِدي ُع ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو ِ

2:12 ص َر ٰى َحتَّ ٰى تَتَّبِ َع ِملَّتَهُ ْم قُلْ ِإ َّن هُدَى ٱهَّلل ِ هُ َو ْٱلهُد َٰى َولَِئ ِن ٱتَّبَعْتَ َأ ْه َوٓا َءهُم بَ ْع َد ٱلَّ ِذى
ك ْٱليَهُو ُد َواَل ٱلنَّ ٰ َض ٰى عَن َ َولَن تَرْ َ
0 ير
ص ٍ هَّلل
ك ِمنَ ٱ ِ ِمن َولِ ٍّى َواَل نَ ِ ْ ْ
ك ِمنَ ٱل ِعل ِم َما لَ َ
َجٓا َء َ
…Say: ‘Indeed the guidance from Allahh is the true guidance!’ And if you follow their opinions
after what you have been given, directly, of the evidence-based knowledge, then you shall have,
instead of Allahh, neither a protector nor a supporter
And the Jews and the Christians shall not be content with you until you follow their ‘Millat’. Say (O
Muḥammad): “Indeed the guidance from Allahh is the true guidance!” And if you follow their opinions
after what you have received of the evidence-based knowledge, then you shall have no patron and no
!supporter (to protect you) from Allahh
ٓ ٓ
2:12 ك يُْؤ ِمنُونَ بِ ِهۦ َو َمن يَ ْكفُرْ بِِۦه فَُأو ٰلَِئكَ هُ ُم ْٱل ٰ َخ ِسرُونَ
ق تِاَل َوتِ ِٓۦه ُأو ٰلَِئ َ ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءاتَ ْي ٰنَهُ ُم ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
ب يَ ْتلُونَهۥُ َح َّ
1
2:12 س َش ْيـًٔا َواَل يُ ْقبَ ُل ِم ْنهَا َع ْد ٌل َواَل تَنفَ ُعهَا َش ٰفَ َعةٌ َواَل هُ ْم يُن َ
صرُونَ َوٱتَّقُوا يَوْ ًما اَّل تَجْ ِزى نَ ْفسٌ عَن نَّ ْف ٍ

ٰ
2:12 اس ِإ َما ًما قَا َل َو ِمن ُذ ِّريَّتِى قَا َل اَل يَنَا ُل َع ْه ِدى ٱلظَّلِ ِمينَ ت فََأتَ َّمه َُّن قَا َل ِإنِّى َجا ِعلُ َ
ك لِلنَّ ِ وَِإ ِذ ٱ ْبتَلَ ٰ ٓى ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِه َم َربُّ ۥهُ بِ َكلِ ٰ َم ٍ
4
And when Allahh exposed to Ibrāhīm (knowledge) of dignified words (divine expressions for
supplication and communication), and thus he perfected them, he (Allahh) said: “I am remanding you as
an exemplar for people!” He (Ibrāhīm) said: “And my descendants (too)?” He (Allahh) said: “Never shall
”the transgressors attain to my promise.
2:12 صلًّى َو َع ِه ْدنَٓا ِإلَ ٰ ٓى ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِهۦ َم َوِإ ْس ٰ َم ِعي َل َأن طَهِّ َرا بَ ْيتِ َى
اس َوَأ ْمنًا َوٱتَّ ِخ ُذوا ِمن َّمقَ ِام ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِه َم ُم َ
وَِإ ْذ َج َع ْلنَا ْٱلبَيْتَ َمثَابَةً لِّلنَّ ِ
5 لِلطَّٓاِئفِينَ َو ْٱل ٰ َع ِكفِينَ َوٱلرُّ َّك ِع ٱل ُّسجُو ِد
… And we assigned an oath to Ibrāhīm and IssmāƐīl that you shall purify my ‘Bayt’ for the
circumambulating, those who remain (in worship), and those who are on their knees in
prostration.
2:12 ال َو َمن َكفَ َر وَِإ ْذ قَا َل ِإب ٰ َْر ِه ُم َربِّ ٱجْ َعلْ ٰهَ َذا بَلَدًا َءا ِمنًا َوٱرْ ُز ْق َأ ْهلَ ۥهُ ِمنَ ٱلثَّ َم ٰ َر ِ
ت َم ْن َءا َمنَ ِم ْنهُم بِٱهَّلل ِ َو ْٱليَوْ ِم ٱأْل ِخ ِر قَ َ
6 صي ُرس ْٱل َم ِ ار َوبِْئ َ
ب ٱلنَّ ِ فَُأ َمتِّ ُعهۥُ قَلِياًل ثُ َّم َأضْ طَرُّ ٓۥهُ ِإلَ ٰى َع َذا ِ
2:12 ت َوِإ ْس ٰ َم ِعي ُل َربَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ ِمنَّٓا ِإنَّكَ َأنتَ ٱل َّس ِمي ُع ْٱل َعلِي ُم
وَِإ ْذ يَرْ فَ ُع ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِه ُم ْٱلقَ َوا ِع َد ِمنَ ْٱلبَ ْي ِ
7
2:12 ك َأنتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱل َّر ِحي ُم ك َو ِمن ُذ ِّريَّتِنَٓا ُأ َّمةً ُّم ْسلِ َمةً لَّكَ َوَأ ِرنَا َمن ِ
َاس َكنَا َوتُبْ َعلَ ْينَٓا ِإنَّ َ َربَّنَا َوٱجْ َع ْلنَا ُم ْسلِ َم ْي ِن لَ َ
8
2:13 َو َمن يَرْ غَبُ عَن ِّملَّ ِة ِإب ٰ َْر ِه َم ِإاَّل َمن َسفِهَ نَ ْف َسهۥُ َولَقَ ِد ٱصْ طَفَ ْي ٰنَهُ فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َوِإنَّ ۥهُ فِى ٱأْل ِخ َر ِة لَ ِمنَ ٱل ٰ َّ
صلِ ِحينَ

“And who would choose to eschew “Millat Ibrāhīm” except someone who causes himself to be feeble-
…minded
2:13 ى ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ ٱصْ طَفَ ٰى لَ ُك ُم ٱل ِّدينَ فَاَل تَ ُموتُ َّن ِإاَّل َوَأنتُم ُّم ْسلِ ُمونَ
َو َوص َّٰى بِهَٓا ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِه ُم بَنِي ِه َويَ ْعقُوبُ ٰيَبَنِ َّ
2
Or were you present when death presented itself to YaƐqūb, when he said to his children: “What
;will you worship after me?” They said: “We worship your god and the god of your forefathers
”Ibrāhīm and IssmāƐīl and Issḥāq: A single god and to whom we are submitters.
2:13 ت َولَ ُكم َّما َك َس ْبتُ ْم َواَل تُ ْسـَٔلُونَ َع َّما َكانُوا يَ ْع َملُونَ تِ ْلكَ ُأ َّمةٌ قَ ْد خَ لَ ْ
ت لَهَا َما َك َسبَ ْ

2:13 ص َر ٰى تَ ْهتَدُوا قُلْ بَلْ ِملَّةَ ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِهۦ َم َحنِيفًا َو َما َكانَ ِمنَ ْٱل ُم ْش ِر ِكينَ
َوقَالُوا ُكونُوا هُودًا َأوْ نَ ٰ َ
5
2:13 وب َوٱَأْل ْسبَا ِط َو َمٓا ُأوتِ َى ُمو َس ٰى َو ِعي َس ٰى نز َل ِإلَ ٰ ٓى ِإ ْب ٰ َر ِه َم َوِإ ْس ٰ َم ِعي َل َوِإ ْس ٰ َح َ
ق َويَ ْعقُ َ ُأ
نز َل ِإلَ ْينَا َو َمٓا ِ
ُأ
قُولُ ٓوا َءا َمنَّا بِٱهَّلل ِ َو َمٓا ِ
Say: “We believe in Allahh and in what has been made accessible for us and what has been made
accessible to Ibrāhīm and IssmāƐīl2 and Issḥāq and YaƐqūb and the ‘Assbāhṭ’, and in what
Mūssā and Ɛīssā were given to learn, and in what the prophets have been given to learn from
their lord. We do not distinguish among any of them, and we are to him (Allahh) submitters.”
2:13 ق فَ َسيَ ْكفِي َكهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ َوهُ َو ٱل َّس ِمي ُع ْٱل َعلِي ُم
ٍ فَِإ ْن َءا َمنُوا بِ ِم ْث ِل َمٓا َءا َمنتُم بِ ِهۦ فَقَ ِد ٱ ْهتَدَوا َّوِإن تَ َولَّوْ ا فَِإنَّ َما هُ ْم فِى ِشقَا
7
2:13 َقُلْ َأتُ َحٓاجُّ ونَنَا فِى ٱهَّلل ِ َوهُ َو َربُّنَا َو َربُّ ُك ْم َولَنَٓا َأ ْع ٰ َملُنَا َولَ ُك ْم َأ ْع ٰ َملُ ُك ْم َونَحْ نُ لَ ۥهُ ُم ْخلِصُون
9
Or do you claim: “Indeed Ibrāhīm and IssmāƐīl and Issḥāq and YaƐqūb and the ‘Assbāhṭ’ were
Jews or Christians?” Say: “Are you more knowledgeable or Allahh?” And who is more of a
transgressor than he who hid a testimony known to him, instead of (being a witness) for Allahh.
And Allahh is never unaware of what you do.
2:14 َت َولَ ُكم َّما َك َس ْبتُ ْم َواَل تُ ْسـَٔلُونَ َع َّما َكانُوا يَ ْع َملُون ْ َتِ ْلكَ ُأ َّمةٌ قَ ْد خَ ل
ْ َت لَهَا َما َك َسب

2:14 ٰ
ِ َّك َج َع ْلنَ ُك ْم ُأ َّمةً َو َسطًا لِّتَ ُكونُوا ُشهَدَٓا َء َعلَى ٱلن
اس َويَ ُكونَ ٱل َّرسُو ُل َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َش ِهيدًا َو َما َج َع ْلنَا ْٱلقِ ْبلَةَ ٱلَّتِى ُكنتَ َعلَ ْيهَٓا َ َِو َك ٰ َذل
3 ِ َُت لَ َكبِي َرةً ِإاَّل َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ هَدَى ٱهَّلل ُ َو َما َكانَ ٱهَّلل ُ لِي
ضي َع ْ ِإاَّل لِنَ ْعلَ َم َمن يَتَّبِ ُع ٱل َّرسُو َل ِم َّمن يَنقَلِبُ َعلَ ٰى َعقِبَ ْي ِه َوِإن َكان
ِ َِّإي ٰ َمنَ ُك ْم ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ بِٱلن
ٌ اس لَ َر ُء
وف َّر ِحي ٌم
2
Addressed to the believers: No problem with the believers saying that! Therefore, this aya is not evidence that
IssmāƐīl came before!
2:14 ْج ِد ْٱل َح َر ِام َو َحي ُ
ْث َما ُكنتُ ْم فَ َولُّوا ط َر ْٱل َمس ِ ك َش ْ ك قِ ْبلَةً تَرْ َ
ض ٰىهَا فَ َو ِّل َوجْ هَ َ ك فِى ٱل َّس َمٓا ِء فَلَنُ َولِّيَنَّ َ
ب َوجْ ِه َقَ ْد ن ََر ٰى تَقَلُّ َ
4 ٰ ب لَيَ ْعلَ ُمونَ َأنَّهُ ْٱل َح ُّ
ق ِمن َّربِّ ِه ْم َو َما ٱهَّلل ُ بِ َغفِ ٍل َع َّما يَ ْع َملُونَ ٰ ُأ
ط َرهۥُ وَِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ وتُوا ْٱل ِكتَ َ ُوجُوهَ ُك ْم َش ْ
2:14 ْض َولَِئ ِن ٱتَّبَعْتَ ب بِ ُك ِّل َءايَ ٍة َّما تَبِعُوا قِ ْبلَتَكَ َو َمٓا َأنتَ بِتَابِ ٍع قِ ْبلَتَهُ ْم َو َما بَ ْع ُ
ضهُم بِتَابِ ٍع قِ ْبلَةَ بَع ٍ َولَِئ ْن َأتَيْتَ ٱلَّ ِذينَ ُأوتُوا ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
َّٰ
5 ك ِإ ًذا لَّ ِمنَ ٱلظلِ ِمينَك ِمنَ ْٱل ِع ْل ِم ِإنَّ َ َأ ْه َوٓا َءهُم ِّم ۢن بَ ْع ِد َما َجٓا َء َ
…And if you follow their fancy after what has come to you of the evidence-based knowledge,
then you are certainly among the transgressors
2:14 ْرفُونَ َأ ْبنَٓا َءهُ ْم َوِإ َّن فَ ِريقًا ِّم ْنهُ ْم لَيَ ْكتُ ُمونَ ْٱل َح َّ
ق َوهُ ْم يَ ْعلَ ُمونَ ْرفُونَهۥُ َك َما يَع ِ ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءاتَ ْي ٰنَهُ ُم ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
ب يَع ِ

2:14 ك فَاَل تَ ُكون ََّن ِمنَ ْٱل ُم ْمت َِرينَ ْٱل َح ُّ
ق ِمن َّربِّ َ
7
2:15 َك َمٓا َأرْ َس ْلنَا فِي ُك ْم َر ُسواًل ِّمن ُك ْم يَ ْتلُوا َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َءا ٰيَتِنَا َويُ َز ِّكي ُك ْم َويُ َعلِّ ُم ُك ُم ْٱل ِك ٰتَ َ
ب َو ْٱل ِح ْك َمةَ َويُ َعلِّ ُم ُكم َّما لَ ْم تَ ُكونُوا تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ

2:15 فَ ْٱذ ُكرُونِ ٓى َأ ْذ ُكرْ ُك ْم َوٱ ْش ُكرُوا لِى َواَل تَ ْكفُرُو ِن
2
2:15 َصيبَةٌ قَالُ ٓوا ِإنَّا هَّلِل ِ َوِإنَّٓا ِإلَ ْي ِه ٰ َر ِجعُون َ ٰ ٱلَّ ِذينَ ِإ َذٓا َأ
ِ صبَ ْتهُم ُّم

ٓ ٓ
2:15 ُون َ ت ِّمن َّربِّ ِه ْم َو َرحْ َمةٌ َوُأو ٰلَِئ
\َ ك هُ ُم ْٱل ُم ْهتَد ٌ صلَ ٰ َو َ ُأو ٰلَِئ
َ ك َعلَ ْي ِه ْم
7
2:15 َ صفَا َو ْٱل َمرْ َوةَ ِمن َش َعٓاِئ ِر ٱهَّلل ِ فَ َم ْن َح َّج ْٱلبَيْتَ َأ ِو ٱ ْعتَ َم َر فَاَل ُجنَا َح َعلَ ْي ِه َأن يَطَّوَّفَ بِ ِه َما َو َمن تَطَ َّو َع َخ ْيرًا فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َّ ِإ َّن ٱل
8 َشا ِك ٌر َعلِي ٌم
Indeed, Aṣ-Ṣafā and Al-Marwāta are among the signs (provided) by Allahh, and thus, whoever
performs the pilgrimage or ‘Ɛumrah’, then there is no harm for him to circumambulate using
them, and whoever volunteers (to do so), then Allahh is receptive to their communication, and a
provider of evidence-based knowledge.
ٰ ٓ ٰ
2:15 َ ب ُأو ٰلَِئ
َك يَ ْل َعنُهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ َويَ ْل َعنُهُ ُم ٱللَّ ِعنُون ِ َاس فِى ْٱل ِك ٰت ِ َِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ يَ ْكتُ ُمونَ َمٓا َأن َز ْلنَا ِمنَ ْٱلبَيِّ ٰن
ِ َّت َو ْٱلهُد َٰى ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد َما بَيَّنَّهُ لِلن
9
Those who hide what we have revealed of ‘Bayyināt’ (instruments of extracting evidence) and of
guidance after we have exposed it for people in the scripture: Those are cursed by Allahh and are
cursed by those who curse (i.e., the angels).
ٓ
2:16 َ ِإاَّل ٱلَّ ِذينَ تَابُوا َوَأصْ لَحُوا َوبَيَّنُوا فَُأو ٰلَِئ
ك َأتُوبُ َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َوَأنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱل َّر ِحي ُم

Except for those who cease (their corruption of scripture), follow the divine lexicon, and expose
(what they learn); then, those, I shall support them in their cessation and I am indeed the
supporter in cessation, the most merciful.
ٰٓ ٓ
2:16 اس َأجْ َم ِعينَ ِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا َو َماتُوا َوهُ ْم ُكفَّا ٌر ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك َعلَ ْي ِه ْم لَ ْعنَةُ ٱهَّلل ِ َو ْٱل َملَِئ َك ِة َوٱلنَّ ِ

2:16 ٰخَ لِ ِدينَ فِيهَا اَل يُخَ فَّفُ َع ْنهُ ُم ْٱل َع َذابُ َواَل هُ ْم يُنظَرُونَ
2
2:16 وَِإ ٰلَهُ ُك ْم ِإ ٰلَهٌ ٰ َو ِح ٌد ٓاَّل ِإ ٰلَهَ ِإاَّل هُ َو ٱلرَّحْ ٰ َمنُ ٱل َّر ِحي ُم
3
2:16 اس َو َمٓا َأن َز َل ٱهَّلل ُ ِمنَ ك ٱلَّتِى تَجْ ِرى فِى ْٱلبَحْ ِر بِ َما يَنفَ ُع ٱلنَّ َ ار َو ْٱلفُ ْل ِ ٱختِ ٰلَ ِ
ف ٱلَّ ْي ِل َوٱلنَّهَ ِ ت َوٱَأْلرْ ِ
ض َو ْ ق ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو ِ ِإ َّن فِى َخ ْل ِ
ْ َأْل َأ
4 ب ٱل ُم َس َّخ ِر بَ ْينَ ٱل َّس َمٓا ِء
ح َوٱلس ََّحا ِ يف ٱلرِّ ٰيَ ِ
ث فِيهَا ِمن ُك ِّل دَٓابَّ ٍة َوتَصْ ِر ِ ض بَ ْع َد َموْ تِهَا َوبَ َّ
ٱل َّس َمٓا ِء ِمن َّمٓا ٍء فَ حْ يَا بِ ِه ٱ رْ َ
ت لِّقَوْ ٍم يَ ْعقِلُونَ َوٱَأْلرْ ِ
ض أَل ٰيَ ٍ
2:16 ُون ٱهَّلل ِ َأندَادًا يُ ِحبُّونَهُ ْم َكحُبِّ ٱهَّلل ِ َوٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُ ٓوا َأ َش ُّد ُحبًّا هَّلِّل ِ َولَوْ يَ َرى ٱلَّ ِذينَ ظَلَ ُم ٓوا ِإ ْذ يَ َروْ نَاس َمن يَتَّ ِخ ُذ ِمن د ِ َو ِمنَ ٱلنَّ ِ

ٱل ُ

\ يد َ
ش
َ ِ هَّلل ٱ َّ
ن َأ و
َ ًا
ع يماب َأ َّن َّ ِ َ ِ
ج هَّلِل َ ةوُ ق ْ
ٱل ْٱل َع َذ َ
َمن يَتَّ ِخ ُذ ِمن دُو ِن ٱهَّلل ِ َأندَادًاthose who take intermediaries between you and us, those who take such\:
intermediaries as your peers
َأ َش ُّد حُ بًّا هَّلِّل ِlove for Allahh stronger in our hearts than any other
ْٱل َع َذا ِ
بPunishment :
2:16 َوقَا َل ٱلَّ ِذينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا لَوْ َأ َّن لَنَا َك َّرةً فَنَتَبَ َّرَأ ِم ْنهُ ْم َك َما تَبَ َّر ُءوا ِمنَّا َك ٰ َذلِكَ ي ُِري ِه ُم ٱهَّلل ُ َأ ْع ٰ َملَهُ ْم َح َس ٰ َر ٍ
ت َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َو َما هُم بِ ٰخَ ِر ِجينَ
7 ِمنَ ٱلنَّ ِ
ار
2:16 ت ٱل َّش ْي ٰطَ ِن ِإنَّهۥُ لَ ُك ْم َعد ٌُّو ُّمبِ ٌ
ين ض َح ٰلَاًل طَيِّبًا َواَل تَتَّبِعُوا ُخطُ ٰ َو ِ ٓ
ٰيََأيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ُكلُوا ِم َّما فِى ٱَأْلرْ ِ
8
2:16 ِإنَّ َما يَْأ ُم ُر ُكم بِٱلس ُّٓو ِء َو ْٱلفَحْ َشٓا ِء َوَأن تَقُولُوا َعلَى ٱهَّلل ِ َما اَل تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ
9
2:17 وَِإ َذا قِي َل لَهُ ُم ٱتَّبِعُوا َمٓا َأن َز َل ٱهَّلل ُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِ ُع َمٓا َأ ْلفَ ْينَا َعلَ ْي ِه َءابَٓا َءنَٓا َأ َولَوْ َكانَ َءابَٓاُؤ هُ ْم اَل يَ ْعقِلُونَ َش ْيـًٔا َواَل يَ ْهتَد َ\
ُون

And if they are admonished to follow that which Allahh has revealed, they say: ‘Nay! We want
to follow the comfort of what we found our predecessors doing!’ What if their predecessors were
?not able to understand, nor were they seeking the guidance
2:17 ق بِ َما اَل يَ ْس َم ُع ِإاَّل ُدعَٓا ًء َونِدَٓا ًء صُ ۢ ٌّم بُ ْك ٌم ُع ْم ٌى فَهُ ْم اَل يَ ْعقِلُونَ
َو َمثَ ُل ٱلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا َك َمثَ ِل ٱلَّ ِذى يَ ْن ِع ُ

2:17 ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا ُكلُوا ِمن طَيِّ ٰبَ ِ
ت َما َر َز ْق ٰنَ ُك ْم َوٱ ْش ُكرُوا هَّلِل ِ ِإن ُكنتُ ْم ِإيَّاهُ تَ ْعبُ ُدونَ

ٓ
2:17 ب َويَ ْشتَرُونَ بِ ِهۦ ثَ َمنًا قَلِياًل ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك َما يَْأ ُكلُونَ فِى بُطُونِ ِه ْم ِإاَّل ٱلنَّا َر َواَل يُ َكلِّ ُمهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ ِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ يَ ْكتُ ُمونَ َمٓا َأن َز َل ٱهَّلل ُ ِمنَ ْٱل ِك ٰتَ ِ
4 يَوْ َم ْٱلقِ ٰيَ َم ِة َواَل يُ َز ِّكي ِه ْم َولَهُ ْم َع َذابٌ َألِي ٌم
ٓ
2:17 ار ض ٰلَلَةَ بِ ْٱلهُد َٰى َو ْٱل َع َذ َ
اب بِ ْٱل َم ْغفِ َر ِة فَ َمٓا َأصْ بَ َرهُ ْم َعلَى ٱلنَّ ِ ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك ٱلَّ ِذينَ ٱ ْشتَ َر ُوا ٱل َّ
5
2:17 صاصُ فِى ْٱلقَ ْتلَى ْٱلحُرُّ بِ ْٱلحُرِّ َو ْٱل َع ْب ُد بِ ْٱل َع ْب ِد َوٱُأْلنثَ ٰى بِٱُأْلنثَ ٰى فَ َم ْن ُعفِ َى لَ ۥهُ ِم ْن َأ ِخي ِه ب َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْٱلقِ َ ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا ُكتِ َ
8 يف ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم َو َرحْ َمةٌ فَ َم ِن ٱ ْعتَد َٰى بَ ْع َد ٰ َذلِكَ فَلَ ۥهُ َع َذابٌ َألِي ٌم ك ت َْخفِ ٌ ُوف َوَأدَٓا ٌء ِإلَ ْي ِه بِِإحْ ٰ َس ٍن ٰ َذلِ َ
ع بِ ْٱل َم ْعر ِ َش ْى ٌء فَٱتِّبَا ۢ ٌ
2:18 فَ َم ۢن بَ َّدلَهۥُ بَ ْع َد َما َس ِم َعهۥُ فَِإنَّ َمٓا ِإ ْث ُمهۥُ َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ يُبَ ِّدلُونَ ٓۥهُ ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َس ِمي ٌع َعلِي ٌم

2:18 ص َجنَفًا َأوْ ِإ ْث ًما فََأصْ لَ َح بَ ْينَهُ ْم فَٓاَل ِإ ْث َم َعلَ ْي ِه ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َغفُو ٌر َّر ِحي ٌم
فَ َم ْن َخافَ ِمن ُّمو ٍ

O You who believed (from among the earlier communities of faith)! Fasting has been ordained
upon you as it was ordained upon those before you. (We remind you) Perchance you attain to be
disciplined
2:18 ت فَ َمن َكانَ ِمن ُكم َّم ِريضًا َأوْ َعلَ ٰى َسفَ ٍر فَ ِع َّدةٌ ِّم ْن َأي ٍَّام ُأخ ََر َو َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ ي ُِطيقُونَ ۥهُ فِ ْديَةٌ طَ َعا ُم ِم ْس ِكي ٍن فَ َمن
َأيَّا ًما َّم ْعدُو ٰ َد ٍ
4 َّ َأ َّ
تَطَ َّو َع خَ ْيرًا فَهُ َو خَ ْي ٌر لهۥُ َو ن تَصُو ُموا خَ ْي ٌر ل ُك ْم ِإن ُكنتُ ْم تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ
And upon those who cannot bear it the ransom of feeding of a person in need
(This command to earlier communities of faith was limited to) A few days, - A few days is
)((with the allowanceيا َمص( ”DEFINITELY NOT A MONTH! - An adverb for the term “Ṣiyām
that whosoever among you is sick or is traveling (on an arduous journey), then they can make it
up by fasting an equivalent number of days during other times of the year,and (with the
allowance that) those who cannot endure the prescribed fasting then they must compensate by
feeding a poor person (one day’s equivalent of food for every day of prescribed fasting).And
whoever volunteers (to give more), then this shall constitute a better application of Allahh’s
commands.And to fast (despite the hardship) is better for you if you are among those who seek to
receive direct guidance from Allahh.
2:18 ُ َت ِّمنَ ْٱلهُد َٰى َو ْٱلفُرْ قَا ِن فَ َمن َش ِه َد ِمن ُك ُم ٱل َّش ْه َر فَ ْلي
ص ْمهُ َو َمن ٍ َاس َوبَيِّ ٰن ِ َّنز َل فِي ِه ْٱلقُرْ َءانُ هُدًى لِّلن ِ ى
ضانَ ٱلَّ ِذ ٓ ُأ َ َش ْه ُر َر َم
5 هَّلل ْ ُ ْ ْ هَّلل ُأ َأ َأ
َكانَ َم ِريضًا وْ َعلَ ٰى َسفَ ٍر فَ ِع َّدةٌ ِّم ْن ي ٍَّام َخ َر ي ُِري ُد ٱ ُ بِ ُك ُم ٱليُ ْس َر َواَل ي ُِري ُد بِ ُك ُم ٱل ُع ْس َر َولِتُ ْك ِملوا ٱل ِع َّدةَ َولِتُ َكبِّرُوا ٱ َ َعلَ ٰى
ََما هَ َد ٰى ُك ْم َولَ َعلَّ ُك ْم تَ ْش ُكرُون
The month of Ramadan (is the month) during which the QurꜤān was made accessible as (an
instrument of) guidance to people (who engage it)and (within it are) signs that clarify the
previous divine guidance and the distinction among various types of people Whosoever lives to
witness this month must fast during it,(with the allowance) that whosoever among you is sick or
is traveling (on an arduous journey), then make it up by fasting during other times of the year–
Allahh wants for you (to receive guidance with) ease, not hardship –a number of days equivalent
to those days that you did not fast,and (Allahh wants) for you to intensify your relationship with
Allahh in gratefulness for the guidance that he provided you,and perchance you (learn to)
communicate directly with Allahh in the correct manner.
َاع ِإ َذا َدعَا ِن فَ ْليَ ْست َِجيبُوا لِى َو ْليُْؤ ِمنُوا بِى لَ َعلَّهُ ْم يَرْ ُش ُدون ُأ
2:18 ِ وَِإ َذا َسَألَكَ ِعبَا ِدى َعنِّى فَِإنِّى قَ ِريبٌ ِجيبُ َد ْع َوةَ ٱل َّد

And when those who seek to relate with Allahh ask you:I am near! I respond to the invitation of
anyone who invites me (alone, into their life)Let them, therefore, respond only to my guidance,
and let them believe fully in me alone,perchance they are granted adherence to the correct path
(that leads them to me).
If my human creatures ask you about me, indeed I am near. I answer the call of any who invite
me. Let them, therefore, respond to me and believe in me perchance they shall be guided
2:18 َاب َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َ ث ِإلَ ٰى نِ َسٓاِئ ُك ْم ه َُّن لِبَاسٌ لَّ ُك ْم َوَأنتُ ْم لِبَاسٌ لَّه َُّن َعلِ َم ٱهَّلل ُ َأنَّ ُك ْم ُكنتُ ْم ت َْختَانُونَ َأنفُ َس ُك ْم فَت
ُ َصيَ ِام ٱل َّرف ِّ ُأ ِح َّل لَ ُك ْم لَ ْيلَةَ ٱل
7 َأْل ْ َأْل ُ ْ ُ َّ ْ
َب ٱ ُ لَك ْم َوكلوا َوٱش َربُوا َحت ٰى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَك ُم ٱل َخ ْيط ٱ ْبيَضُ ِمنَ ٱلخَ ي ِْط ٱ س َْو ِد ُ ُ ُ هَّلل َ َو َعفَا عَن ُك ْم فَ ْٱلَٰٔـنَ بَ ِشرُوه َُّن َوٱ ْبتَ ُغوا َما َكت
ٰ
ُ ك يُبَيِّنُ ٱهَّلل ٰ
َ ِصيَا َم ِإلَى ٱلَّي ِْل َواَل تُ ٰبَ ِشرُوه َُّن َوَأنتُ ْم ٰ َع ِكفُونَ فِى ْٱل َم ٰ َس ِج ِد تِ ْلكَ حُ دُو ُد ٱهَّلل ِ فَاَل تَ ْق َربُوهَا َك َذل ِّ ِمنَ ْٱلفَجْ ِر ثُ َّم َأتِ ُّموا ٱل
َاس لَ َعلَّهُ ْم يَتَّقُون
ِ ََّءا ٰيَتِ ِهۦ لِلن
2:19 يل ٱهَّلل ِ ٱلَّ ِذينَ يُ ٰقَتِلُونَ ُك ْم َواَل تَ ْعتَد ُٓوا ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ اَل يُ ِحبُّ ْٱل ُم ْعتَ ِد َ\
ين َو ٰقَتِلُوا فِى َسبِ ِ

2:19 ْث َأ ْخ َرجُو ُك ْم َو ْٱلفِ ْتنَةُ َأ َش ُّد ِمنَ ْٱلقَ ْت ِل َواَل تُ ٰقَتِلُوهُ ْم ِعن َد ْٱل َم ْس ِج ِد ْٱل َح َر ِام َحتَّ ٰى ْث ثَقِ ْفتُ ُموهُ ْم َوَأ ْخ ِرجُوهُم ِّم ْن َحي َُوٱ ْقتُلُوهُ ْم َحي ُ
1 ٰ ْ
ك َج َزٓا ُء ٱل َكفِ ِرينَ ٰ
يُ ٰقَتِلُو ُك ْم فِي ِه فَِإن قَتَلو ُك ْم فَٱقتُلوهُ ْم َك َذلِ َ
ُ ْ ُ ٰ
2:19 فَِإ ِن ٱنتَهَوْ ا فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َغفُو ٌر َّر ِحي ٌم

ٰ
2:19 َو ٰقَتِلُوهُ ْم َحتَّ ٰى اَل تَ ُكونَ فِ ْتنَةٌ َويَ ُكونَ ٱلدِّينُ هَّلِل ِ فَِإ ِن ٱنتَهَوْ ا فَاَل ُع ْد ٰ َونَ ِإاَّل َعلَى ٱلظَّلِ ِمينَ
3
2:19 صاصٌ فَ َم ِن ٱ ْعتَد َٰى َعلَ ْي ُك ْم فَٱ ْعتَدُوا َعلَ ْي ِه بِ ِم ْث ِل َما ٱ ْعتَد َٰى َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َوٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ ٱل َّش ْه ُر ْٱل َح َرا ُم بِٱل َّشه ِْر ْٱل َح َر ِام َو ْٱل ُح ُر ٰ َم ُ
ت قِ َ
4 َوٱ ْعلَ ُم ٓوا َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َم َع ْٱل ُمتَّقِينَ
2:19 َوَأنفِقُوا فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ َواَل تُ ْلقُوا بَِأ ْي ِدي ُك ْم ِإلَى ٱلتَّ ْهلُ َك ِة َوَأحْ ِسنُ ٓوا ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يُ ِحبُّ ْٱل ُمحْ ِسنِينَ
5
2:19 ى َم ِحلَّ ۥهُ فَ َمن َكانَ ى َواَل تَحْ لِقُوا ُر ُءو َس ُك ْم َحتَّ ٰى يَ ْبلُ َغ ْٱلهَ ْد ُ صرْ تُ ْم فَ َما ٱ ْستَ ْي َس َر ِمنَ ْٱلهَ ْد ِ َوَأتِ ُّموا ْٱل َح َّج َو ْٱل ُع ْم َرةَ هَّلِل ِ فَِإ ْن ُأحْ ِ
6 ك فَِإ َذٓا َأ ِمنتُ ْم فَ َمن تَ َمتَّ َع بِ ْٱل ُع ْم َر ِة ِإلَى ْٱل َحجِّ فَ َما
ص َدقَ ٍة َأوْ نُ ُس ٍ
صيَ ٍام َأوْ َ ِمن ُكم َّم ِريضًا َأوْ بِ ِٓۦه َأ ًذى ِّمن َّرْأ ِسِۦه فَفِ ْديَةٌ ِّمن ِ
صيَا ُم ثَ ٰلَثَ ِة َأي ٍَّام فِى ْٱل َح ِّج َو َس ْب َع ٍة ِإ َذا َر َج ْعتُ ْم تِ ْلكَ َع َش َرةٌ َكا ِملَةٌ ٰ َذلِكَ لِ َمن لَّ ْم يَ ُك ْن َأ ْهلُ ۥهُ ى فَ َمن لَّ ْم يَ ِج ْد فَ ِ ٱ ْستَ ْي َس َر ِمنَ ْٱلهَ ْد ِ
ض ِرى ْٱل َم ْس ِج ِد ْٱل َح َر ِام َوٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ َوٱ ْعلَ ُم ٓوا َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َش ِدي ُ\د ْٱل ِعقَا ِ
ب َحا ِ
2:19 ق َواَل ِجدَا َل فِى ْٱل َحجِّ َو َما تَ ْف َعلُوا ِم ْن خَ ي ٍْر يَ ْعلَ ْمهُ ٱهَّلل ُ ض فِي ِه َّن ْٱل َح َّج فَاَل َرفَ َ
ث َواَل فُسُو َ ت فَ َمن فَ َر َْٱل َحجُّ َأ ْشهُ ٌر َّم ْعلُو ٰ َم ٌ
7 ب ٰ ْ َأْل ُأٓ ٰ ْ
َوتَزَ َّودُوا فَِإ َّن خَ ْي َر ٱل َّزا ِد ٱلتَّق َو ٰى َوٱتَّقُو ِن يَ ولِى ٱ لبَ ِ
2:19 ْس َعلَ ْي ُك ْم ُجنَا ٌح َأن تَ ْبتَ ُغوا فَضْ اًل ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم فَِإ َذٓا َأفَضْ تُم ِّم ْن َع َر ٰفَ ٍ
ت فَ ْٱذ ُكرُوا ٱهَّلل َ ِعن َد ْٱل َم ْش َع ِر ْٱل َح َر ِام َو ْٱذ ُكرُوهُ َك َما لَي َ
8 هَ َد ٰى ُك ْم َوِإن ُكنتُم ِّمن قَ ْبلِ ِهۦ لَ ِمنَ ٱلضَّٓالِّينَ
2:19 ْث َأفَ َ
اض ٱلنَّاسُ َوٱ ْستَ ْغفِرُوا ٱهَّلل َ ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َغفُو ٌر َّر ِحي ٌم ثُ َّم َأفِيضُوا ِم ْن َحي ُ
9
ٰ
2:20 ض ْيتُم َّمنَ ِس َك ُك ْم فَ ْٱذ ُكرُوا ٱهَّلل َ َك ِذ ْك ِر ُك ْم َءابَٓا َء ُك ْم َأوْ َأ َش َّد ِذ ْكرًا فَ ِمنَ ٱلنَّ ِ
اس َمن يَقُو ُل َربَّنَٓا َءاتِنَا فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َو َما لَ ۥهُ فِى فَِإ َذا قَ َ
ٰ
0 ٱأْل ِخ َر ِة ِمن خَ ل ٍ
ق َ ْ
2:20 ار َو ِم ْنهُم َّمن يَقُو ُل َربَّنَٓا َءاتِنَا فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َح َسنَةً َوفِى ٱأْل ِخ َر ِة َح َسنَةً َوقِنَا َع َذ َ
اب ٱلنَّ ِ
1
ٓ
2:20 صيبٌ ِّم َّما َك َسبُوا َوٱهَّلل ُ َس ِري ُع ْٱل ِح َسا ِ
ب ُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ك لَهُ ْم نَ ِ
2
2:20 ك قَوْ لُ ۥهُ فِى ْٱل َحيَ ٰو ِة ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َويُ ْش ِه ُد ٱهَّلل َ َعلَ ٰى َما فِى قَ ْلبِ ِهۦ َوهُ َو َألَ ُّد ْٱل ِخ َ
ص ِام َو ِمنَ ٱلنَّ ِ
اس َمن يُ ْع ِجبُ َ
4
ٓ
2:21 هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ ِإٓاَّل َأن يَْأتِيَهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ فِى ظُلَ ٍل ِّمنَ ْٱل َغ َم ِام َو ْٱل َم ٰلَِئ َكةُ َوقُ ِ
ض َى ٱَأْل ْم ُر َوِإلَى ٱهَّلل ِ تُرْ َج ُع ٱُأْل ُمو ُر
0
2:21 ُزيِّنَ لِلَّ ِذينَ َكفَرُوا ْٱل َحيَ ٰوةُ ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َويَ ْس َخرُونَ ِمنَ ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َوٱلَّ ِذينَ ٱتَّقَوْ ا فَوْ قَهُ ْم يَوْ َم ْٱلقِ ٰيَ َم ِة َوٱهَّلل ُ يَرْ ُز ُ
ق َمن يَ َشٓا ُء بِ َغي ِْر
2 ب
ِح َسا ٍ
2:21 َأ ْم َح ِس ْبتُ ْم َأن تَ ْد ُخلُوا ْٱل َجنَّةَ َولَ َّما يَْأتِ ُكم َّمثَ ُل ٱلَّ ِذينَ َخلَوْ ا ِمن قَ ْبلِ ُكم َّم َّس ْتهُ ُم ْٱلبَْأ َسٓا ُء َوٱل َّ
ضرَّٓا ُء َو ُز ْل ِزلُوا َحتَّ ٰى يَقُو َل ٱل َّرسُو ُل
4 َوٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َم َع ۥهُ َمت َٰى نَصْ ُر ٱهَّلل ِ َأٓاَل ِإ َّن نَصْ َر ٱهَّلل ِ قَ ِريبٌ
Or did you think that you enter Jannah while you had yet to receive the example of those who
came before you: They were affected by affliction and adversity, and they were shaken to the
point where the messenger and the ones with him would say: “When will Allahh’s victory
!come?” Indeed, Allahh’s victory is near
2:21 يَ ْسـَٔلُونَكَ َما َذا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ َمٓا َأنفَ ْقتُم ِّم ْن َخي ٍْر فَلِ ْل ٰ َولِ َد ْي ِن َوٱَأْل ْق َربِينَ َو ْٱليَ ٰتَ َم ٰى َو ْٱل َم ٰ َس ِكي ِن َوٱ ْب ِن ٱل َّسبِي ِل َو َما تَ ْف َعلُوا ِم ْن خَ ي ٍْر
5 فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ بِ ِهۦ َعلِي ٌم
2:21 ب َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْٱلقِتَا ُل َوهُ َو ُكرْ هٌ لَّ ُك ْم َو َع َس ٰ ٓى َأن تَ ْك َرهُوا َش ْيـًٔا َوهُ َو خَ ْي ٌر لَّ ُك ْم َو َع َس ٰ ٓى َأن تُ ِحبُّوا َش ْيـًٔا َوهُ َو َش ٌّر لَّ ُك ْم َوٱهَّلل ُ يَ ْعلَ ُم
ُكتِ َ
6 َوَأنتُ ْم اَل تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ
2:21 ص ٌّد عَن َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ َو ُك ْف ۢ ٌر بِ ِهۦ َو ْٱل َم ْس ِج ِد ْٱل َح َر ِام َوِإ ْخ َرا ُج َأ ْهلِ ِهۦ يَ ْسـَٔلُونَكَ َع ِن ٱل َّشه ِْر ْٱل َح َر ِام قِتَا ٍل فِي ِه قُلْ قِتَا ٌل فِي ِه َكبِي ٌر َو َ
7 ٰ
ِم ْنهُ َأ ْكبَ ُر ِعن َد ٱهَّلل ِ َو ْٱلفِ ْتنَةُ َأ ْكبَ ُر ِمنَ ْٱلقَ ْت ِل َواَل يَزَالُونَ يُ ٰقَتِلُونَ ُك ْم َحتَّ ٰى يَ ُر ُّدو ُك ْم عَن ِدينِ ُك ْم ِإ ِن ٱ ْستَطَعُوا َو َمن يَرْ تَ ِد ْد ِمن ُك ْم
ٓ ت َوهُ َو َكافِ ٌر فَُأو ٰلَِٓئكَ َحبِطَ ْ
ار هُ ْم فِيهَا ٰخَ لِ ُدونَك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ ٱلنَّ ِ ت َأ ْع ٰ َملُهُ ْم فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َوٱأْل ِخ َر ِة َوُأو ٰلَِئ َ عَن ِدينِ ِهۦ فَيَ ُم ْ
ٓ
2:21 ِإ َّن ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا َوٱلَّ ِذينَ هَا َجرُوا َو ٰ َجهَدُوا فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ ُأو ٰلَِئكَ يَرْ جُونَ َرحْ َمتَ ٱهَّلل ِ َوٱهَّلل ُ َغفُو ٌر ر ِ
َّحي ٌم
8
اس َوِإ ْث ُمهُ َمٓا َأ ْكبَ ُر ِمن نَّ ْف ِع ِه َما َويَ ْسـَٔلُونَ َ ٰ
2:21 ك َما َذا يُنفِقُونَ قُ ِل يَ ْسـَٔلُونَكَ َع ِن ْٱلخَ ْم ِر َو ْٱل َم ْي ِس ِر قُلْ فِي ِه َمٓا ِإ ْث ٌم َكبِي ٌر َو َمنَفِ ُع لِلنَّ ِ
9 ت لَ َعلَّ ُك ْم تَتَفَ َّكرُونَ ْٱل َع ْف َو َك ٰ َذلِ َ
ك يُبَيِّنُ ٱهَّلل ُ لَ ُك ُم ٱأْل ٰيَ ِ
2:22 ك ع َِن ْٱليَ ٰتَ َم ٰى قُلْ ِإصْ اَل ٌح لَّهُ ْم َخ ْي ٌر َوِإن تُخَالِطُوهُ ْم فَِإ ْخ ٰ َونُ ُك ْم َوٱهَّلل ُ يَ ْعلَ ُم ْٱل ُم ْف ِس َد ِمنَ فِى ٱل ُّد ْنيَا َوٱلْ َءا ِخ َر ِة َويَ ْسـَٔلُونَ َ
0 ح َولَوْ َشٓا َء ٱهَّلل ُ َأَل ْعنَتَ ُك ْم ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ ع ِ
َزي ٌز َح ِكي ٌم ْٱل ُمصْ لِ ِ
2:22 ت َحتَّ ٰى يُْؤ ِم َّن َوَأَل َمةٌ ُّمْؤ ِمنَةٌ َخ ْي ٌر ِّمن ُّم ْش ِر َك ٍة َولَوْ َأ ْع َجبَ ْت ُك ْم َواَل تُن ِكحُوا ْٱل ُم ْش ِر ِكينَ َحتَّ ٰى يُْؤ ِمنُوا
ٓ َواَل تَن ِكحُوا ْٱل ُم ْش ِر ٰ َك ِ
ار َوٱهَّلل ُ يَ ْدع ُٓوا ِإلَى ْٱل َجنَّ ِة َو ْٱل َم ْغفِ َر ِة بِِإ ْذنِ ِهۦ َويُبَيِّنُ َءا ٰيَتِِۦه ٰ
ك َولَوْ َأ ْع َجبَ ُك ْم ُأولَِئ َ
َولَ َع ْب ٌ\د ُّمْؤ ِم ٌن َخ ْي ٌر ِّمن ُّم ْش ِر ٍ
1 ك يَ ْد ُعونَ ِإلَى ٱلنَّ ِ
اس لَ َعلَّهُ ْم يَتَ َذ َّكرُونَ
لِلنَّ ِ
2:22 ث لَّ ُك ْم فَْأتُوا َحرْ ثَ ُك ْم َأنَّ ٰى ِشْئتُ ْم َوقَ ِّد ُموا َأِلنفُ ِس ُك ْم َوٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ َوٱ ْعلَ ُم ٓوا َأنَّ ُكم ُّم ٰلَقُوهُ َوبَ ِّش ِر ْٱل ُمْؤ ِمنِينَ
نِ َسٓاُؤ ُك ْم َحرْ ٌ

2:22 ضةً َأِّل ْي ٰ َمنِ ُك ْم َأن تَبَرُّ وا َوتَتَّقُوا َوتُصْ لِحُوا بَ ْينَ ٱلنَّ ِ
اس َوٱهَّلل ُ َس ِمي ٌع َعلِي ٌم َواَل تَجْ َعلُوا ٱهَّلل َ عُرْ َ

2:22 ت قُلُوبُ ُك ْم َوٱهَّلل ُ َغفُو ٌر َحلِي ٌم اخ ُذ ُك ُم ٱهَّلل ُ بِٱللَّ ْغ ِو فِ ٓى َأ ْي ٰ َمنِ ُك ْم َو ٰلَ ِكن يَُؤ ِ
اخ ُذ ُكم بِ َما َك َسبَ ْ اَّل يَُؤ ِ
5
2:22 لِّلَّ ِذينَ يُْؤ لُونَ ِمن نِّ َسٓاِئ ِه ْم تَ َربُّصُ َأرْ بَ َع ِة َأ ْشه ٍُر فَِإن فَٓا ُءو فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ َغفُو ٌر َّر ِحي ٌم
6
2:22 ت يَتَ َربَّصْ نَ بَِأنفُ ِس ِه َّن ثَ ٰلَثَةَ قُر ُٓو ٍء َواَل يَ ِحلُّ َله َُّن َأن يَ ْكتُ ْمنَ َما خَ لَ َ
ق ٱهَّلل ُ فِ ٓى َأرْ َحا ِم ِه َّن ِإن ُك َّن يُْؤ ِم َّن بِٱهَّلل ِ َو ْٱليَوْ ِم طلَّ ٰقَ ُ
َو ْٱل ُم َ
8 ال َعلَ ْي ِه َّن َد َر َجةٌ ْ َّ ْ ٰ َأ ٰ
ق بِ َر ِّد ِه َّن فِى َذلِكَ ِإ ْن َراد ُٓوا ِإصْ لَحًا َولَه َُّن ِمث ُل ٱل ِذى َعلَ ْي ِه َّن بِٱل َم ْعر ِ َأ
ٱلْ َءا ِخ ِر َوبُعُولَتُه َُّن َح ُّ
ُوف َولِلرِّ َج ِ
َوٱهَّلل ُ ع ِ
َزي ٌز َح ِكي ٌم
ْري ۢ ٌح بِِإحْ ٰ َس ٍن َواَل يَ ِحلُّ لَ ُك ْم َأن تَْأ ُخ ُذوا ِم َّمٓا َءاتَ ْيتُ ُموه َُّن َش ْيـًٔا ِإٓاَّل َأن يَخَ افَٓا َأاَّل يُقِي َما
ُوف َأوْ تَس ِ
ك بِ َم ْعر ٍ َان فَِإ ْم َسا ۢ ٌ ق َم َّرت ِ ٱلطَّ ٰلَ ُ
2:22
9 ك ُحدُو ُد ٱهَّلل ِ فَاَل تَ ْعتَدُوهَا َو َمن يَتَ َع َّد ُحدُو َد ٱهَّلل ِ َت بِِۦه تِ ْل َ حُ د ُٓو َد ٱهَّلل ِ فَِإ ْن ِخ ْفتُ ْم َأاَّل يُقِي َما ُحدُو َد ٱهَّلل ِ فَاَل ُجن َ
َاح َعلَ ْي ِه َما فِي َما ٱ ْفتَد ْ
ٰ
ك هُ ُم ٱلظَّلِ ُمونَ فَُأو ٰلَِئ َ
2:23 ض َرارًا لِّتَ ْعتَدُوا َو َمن ُوف َواَل تُ ْم ِس ُكوه َُّن ِ ُوف َأوْ َس ِّرحُوه َُّن بِ َم ْعر ٍ وَِإ َذا طَلَّ ْقتُ ُم ٱلنِّ َسٓا َء فَبَلَ ْغنَ َأ َجلَه َُّن فََأ ْم ِس ُكوه َُّن بِ َم ْعر ٍ
1 ب َو ْٱل ِح ْك َم ِة ٰ
ت ٱهَّلل ِ هُ ُز ًوا َو ْٱذ ُكرُوا نِ ْع َمتَ ٱهَّلل ِ َعلَ ْي ُك ْم َو َمٓا َأنزَ َل َعلَ ْي ُكم ِّمنَ ْٱل ِكتَ ِ
ك فَقَ ْد ظَلَ َم نَ ْف َسهۥُ َواَل تَتَّ ِخ ُذ ٓوا َءا ٰيَ ِ يَ ْف َعلْ ٰ َذلِ َ
يَ ِعظُ ُكم بِ ِهۦ َوٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ َوٱ ْعلَ ُم ٓوا َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ بِ ُكلِّ َش ْى ٍء َعلِي ٌم
2:23 ضا َعةَ َو َعلَى ْٱل َموْ لُو ِد لَهۥُ ِر ْزقُه َُّن َو ِكس َْوتُه َُّن بِ ْٱل َم ْعر ِ
ُوف ض ْعنَ َأوْ ٰلَ َده َُّن َحوْ لَي ِْن َكا ِملَ ْي ِن لِ َم ْن َأ َرا َد َأن يُتِ َّم ٱل َّر َ َو ْٱل ٰ َولِ ٰ َد ُ
ت يُرْ ِ
ٰ
ث ِم ْث ُل َذلِكَ فَِإ ْن َأ َرادَا فِ َ ۢ
3 صااًل عَن ار ِ ضٓا َّر ٰ َولِ َدةٌ بِ َولَ ِدهَا َواَل َموْ لُو ٌد لَّ ۥهُ بِ َولَ ِد ِهۦ َو َعلَى ْٱل َو ِ اَل تُ َكلَّفُ نَ ْفسٌ ِإاَّل ُو ْس َعهَا اَل تُ َ
َّ
َاح َعلَ ْي ُك ْم ِإ َذا َسل ْمتُم َّمٓا َءاتَ ْيتُم ٰ َأ
ضع ُٓوا وْ لَ َد ُك ْم فَاَل ُجن َ َأ َأ
اض ِّم ْنهُ َما َوتَ َشا ُو ٍر فَاَل ُجنَا َح َعلَ ْي ِه َما َوِإ ْن َردتُّ ْم ن تَ ْستَرْ ِ تَ َر ٍ
صي ٌر ب
َ ونَ َ ِ ُ ل معْ َ ت ا م
َ َِب هَّلل ٱ نَّ َأ ا و مَ ل
َ َ ُٓ ْ
ع ٱ و هَّلل ٱ واُ قَّ تٱ بِ ْٱل َم ْعر ِ َ
و ُوف
2:23 َوٱلَّ ِذينَ يُتَ َوفَّوْ نَ ِمن ُك ْم َويَ َذرُونَ َأ ْز ٰ َوجًا يَت ََربَّصْ نَ بَِأنفُ ِس ِه َّن َأرْ بَ َعةَ َأ ْشه ٍُر َو َع ْشرًا فَِإ َذا بَلَ ْغنَ َأ َجلَه َُّن فَاَل ُجن َ
َاح َعلَ ْي ُك ْم فِي َما
4 فَ َع ْلنَ فِ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ِه َّن بِ ْٱل َم ْعر ِ
ُوف َوٱهَّلل ُ بِ َما تَ ْع َملُونَ َخبِي ٌر
2:23 طبَ ِة ٱلنِّ َسٓا ِء َأوْ َأ ْكنَنتُ ْم فِ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ُك ْم َعلِ َم ٱهَّلل ُ َأنَّ ُك ْم َست َْذ ُكرُونَه َُّن َو ٰلَ ِكن اَّل تُ َوا ِعدُوه َُّن
َاح َعلَ ْي ُك ْم فِي َما َعرَّضْ تُم بِ ِهۦ ِم ْن ِخ ْ َواَل جُ ن َ
5 ٰ
اح َحتَّ ٰى يَ ْبلُ َغ ْٱل ِكتَبُ َأ َجلَهۥُ َوٱ ْعلَ ُم ٓوا َأ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَ ْعلَ ُم َما فِ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ُك ْم كَ ِّ نٱل َ ة د
َ ْ
ق ُ
ع وا مْز
ُِ عَ ت اَلوَ اً ف ُو ر ْ
ع م
َّ اًل وَْ ق واُ لو ُ قَ ت نَأ ِس ًّرا ِإٓاَّل
ِ
ُ هَّلل َأ
فَٱحْ َذرُوهُ َوٱ ْعل ُم ٓوا َّن ٱ َ َغفو ٌر َحلِي ٌم
َ
2:23 ضةً فَنِصْ فُ َما فَ َرضْ تُ ْم ِإٓاَّل َأن يَ ْعفُونَ َأوْ يَ ْعفُ َوا ٱلَّ ِذى بِيَ ِد ِهۦطلَّ ْقتُ ُموه َُّن ِمن قَ ْب ِل َأن تَ َمسُّوه َُّن َوقَ ْد فَ َرضْ تُ ْم لَه َُّن فَ ِري َ
وَِإن َ
ُ هَّلل ْ ْ ْ َأ َأ
7 ُ
اح َو ن تَ ْعف ٓوا ق َربُ لِلتَّق َو ٰى َواَل تَن َس ُوا ٱلفَضْ َل بَ ْينَ ُك ْم ِإ َّن ٱ َ بِ َما تَ ْع َملونَ بَ ِ
صي ٌر ُع ْق َدةُ ٱلنِّ َك ِ
2:23 صلَ ٰو ِة ْٱل ُو ْسطَ ٰى َوقُو ُموا هَّلِل ِ ٰقَنِتِينَ ٰ َحفِظُوا َعلَى ٱل َّ
صلَ ٰ َو ِ
ت َوٱل َّ
8
2:23 فَِإ ْن ِخ ْفتُ ْم فَ ِر َجااًل َأوْ ُر ْكبَانًا فَِإ َذٓا َأ ِمنتُ ْم فَ ْٱذ ُكرُوا ٱهَّلل َ َك َما عَلَّ َم ُكم َّما لَ ْم تَ ُكونُوا تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ

ٰ
2:24 صيَّةً َأِّل ْز ٰ َو ِج ِهم َّمتَعًا ِإلَى ْٱل َحوْ ِل َغ ْي َر ِإ ْخ َر ٍ
اج فَِإ ْن خَ َرجْ نَ فَاَل ُجنَا َح َعلَ ْي ُك ْم فِى َوٱلَّ ِذينَ يُتَ َوفَّوْ نَ ِمن ُك ْم َويَ َذرُونَ َأ ْز ٰ َوجًا َو ِ
0 َزي ٌز َح ِكي ٌم َما فَ َع ْلنَ فِ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ِه َّن ِمن َّم ْعر ٍ
ُوف َوٱهَّلل ُ ع ِ
2:24 َك ٰ َذلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱهَّلل ُ لَ ُك ْم َءا ٰيَتِ ِهۦ لَ َعلَّ ُك ْم تَ ْعقِلُونَ

2:24 ت فَقَا َل لَهُ ُم ٱهَّلل ُ ُموتُوا ثُ َّم َأحْ ٰيَهُ ْم ِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ لَ ُذو فَضْ ٍل َعلَى ٱلنَّ ِ
اس َألَ ْم تَ َر ِإلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ خَ َرجُوا ِمن ِد ٰيَ ِر ِه ْم َوهُ ْم ُألُ ٌ
وف َح َذ َر ْٱل َموْ ِ
ٰ
3 َولَ ِك َّن َأ ْكثَ َر ٱلنَّ ِ
اس اَل يَ ْش ُكرُونَ
2:24 ث َلنَا َملِ ًكا ُّن ٰقَتِلْ فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ قَا َل هَلْ َع َس ْيتُ ْم ِإن َألَ ْم تَ َر ِإلَى ْٱلمَِإَل ِم ۢن بَنِ ٓى ِإ ْس ٰ َٓر ِءي َل ِم ۢن بَ ْع ِد ُمو َس ٰ ٓى ِإ ْذ قَالُوا لِنَبِ ٍّى لَّهُ ُم ٱ ْب َع ْ
6 ب َعلَ ْي ُك ُم ْٱلقِتَا ُل َأاَّل تُ ٰقَتِلُوا قَالُوا َو َما لَنَٓا َأاَّل نُ ٰقَتِ َل فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ َوقَ ْد ُأ ْخ ِرجْ نَا ِمن ِد ٰيَ ِرنَا َوَأ ْبنَٓاِئنَا فَلَ َّما ُكتِ َ
ب َعلَ ْي ِه ُم ْٱلقِتَا ُل ُكتِ َ
َّ ٰ
ت ََولَّوْ ا ِإاَّل قَلِياًل ِّم ْنهُ ْم َوٱ ُ َعلِي ٌم بِٱلظلِ ِمينَ
ۢ هَّلل
2:24 َوقَا َل لَهُ ْم نَبِيُّهُ ْم ِإ َّن َءايَةَ ُم ْل ِك ِٓۦه َأن يَْأتِيَ ُك ُم ٱلتَّاب ُ
ُوت فِي ِه َس ِكينَةٌ ِّمن َّربِّ ُك ْم َوبَقِيَّةٌ ِّم َّما تَ َركَ َءا ُل ُمو َس ٰى َو َءا ُل ٰهَرُونَ تَحْ ِملُهُ
ٓ
8 ك أَل يَةً لَّ ُك ْم ِإن ُكنتُم ُّمْؤ ِمنِينَ ْٱل َم ٰلَِئ َكةُ ِإ َّن فِى ٰ َذلِ َ
2:25 ِّت َأ ْقدَا َمنَا َوٱنصُرْ نَا َعلَى ْٱلقَوْ ِم ْٱل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ َولَ َّما بَ َر ُزوا ِل َجالُوتَ َو ُجنُو ِد ِهۦ قَالُوا َربَّنَٓا َأ ْف ِر ْغ َعلَ ْينَا َ
ص ْبرًا َوثَب ْ

2:25 ك َو ْٱل ِح ْك َمةَ َو َعلَّ َمهۥُ ِم َّما يَ َشٓا ُء َولَوْ اَل َد ْف ُع ٱهَّلل ِ ٱلنَّ َ
اس بَ ْع َ
ضهُم فَهَ َز ُموهُم بِِإ ْذ ِن ٱهَّلل ِ َوقَتَ َل دَا ُوۥ ُد َجالُوتَ َو َءات َٰىهُ ٱهَّلل ُ ْٱل ُم ْل َ
1 ت ٱَأْلرْ ضُ َو ٰلَ ِك َّن ٱهَّلل َ ُذو فَضْ ٍل َعلَى ْٱل ٰ َعلَ ِمينَ ْض لَّفَ َس َد ِ
بِبَع ٍ
2:25 ك لَ ِمنَ ْٱل ُمرْ َسلِينَ ت ٱهَّلل ِ نَ ْتلُوهَا َعلَ ْيكَ بِ ْٱل َح ِّ
ق َوِإنَّ َ تِ ْلكَ َءا ٰيَ ُ

ٰ
2:25 َٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُ ٓوا َأنفِقُوا ِم َّما َر َز ْق ٰنَ ُكم ِّمن قَ ْب ِل َأن يَْأتِ َى يَوْ ٌم اَّل بَ ْي ٌع فِي ِه َواَل ُخلَّةٌ َواَل َش ٰفَ َعةٌ َو ْٱل ٰ َكفِرُونَ هُ ُم ٱلظَّلِ ُمون

2:25 ض َمن َذا ٱلَّ ِذى يَ ْشفَ ُع ِعن َد ٓۥهُ ِإاَّل ِ ْت َو َما فِى ٱَأْلر ِ ٱهَّلل ُ ٓاَل ِإ ٰلَهَ ِإاَّل هُ َو ْٱل َح ُّى ْٱلقَيُّو ُم اَل تَْأ ُخ ُذهۥُ ِسنَةٌ َواَل نَوْ ٌم لَّ ۥهُ َما فِى ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو
5 ض َواَل َ ْت َوٱَأْلر ِ بِِإ ْذنِ ِهۦ يَ ْعلَ ُم َما بَ ْينَ َأ ْي ِدي ِه ْم َو َما َخ ْلفَهُ ْم َواَل يُ ِحيطُونَ بِ َش ْى ٍء ِّم ْن ِع ْل ِم ِٓۦه ِإاَّل بِ َما َشٓا َء وَ ِس َع ُكرْ ِسيُّهُ ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو
يَـُٔو ُدهۥُ ِح ْفظُهُ َما َوه َُو ْٱل َعلِ ُّى ْٱل َع ِظي ُم
Allahh there is no deity but he, the living, the everlasting. Sleepiness does not apply to him, and
neither (does) sleep. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is (to claim)
that he shall intercede with him except by his permission? He knows what is available of
what came before them and what shall come after them, and they acquire no part of his
knowledge except in accordance with what he wills. The Kursiy that he provided (you) is
capable of (holding) 3the layers of understanding and the scripture, And controlling access to
them does not burden him in the least; And He is the elevated, the prevalent.
ٰ
2:25 َ ِت َويُْؤ ِم ۢن بِٱهَّلل ِ فَقَ ِد ٱ ْستَ ْم َسكَ بِ ْٱلعُرْ َو ِة ْٱل ُو ْثقَ ٰى اَل ٱنف
صا َم ِ َى فَ َمن يَ ْكفُرْ بِٱلطَّ ُغو
ِّ ِّين قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّ ْش ُد ِمنَ ْٱلغ
ِ اَل ٓ ِإ ْك َراهَ فِى ٱلد
6 لَهَا َوٱهَّلل ُ َس ِمي ٌع َعلِي ٌم
Let there be no compulsion in matters of religion. indeed the path to guidance is distinguished
from the path to misguidance
ٰ ُ َ َ َأ ٓاُؤ
ُ ٱلطَّ ُغ ُّ َٱهَّلل ُ َولِ ُّى ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا ي ُْخ ِر ُجهُم ِّمن
2:25 ِ ُّوت ي ُْخ ِرجُونَهُم ِّمنَ ٱلن
ور ِإلَى ور َوٱلَّ ِذينَ كفر ُٓوا وْ لِيَ ه ُم
ِ ُّت ِإلَى ٱلنِ ٱلظلُ ٰ َم ٓ
7 ٰ
ِ َّك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ ٱلن
َار هُ ْم فِيهَا خَ لِ ُدون َ ت ُأو ٰلَِئ ُّ
ِ ٱلظلُ ٰ َم
ْ ِإنَّ َمٓا ِإ ٰلَهُ ُك ُم ٱهَّلل ُ ٱلَّ ِذى ٓاَل ِإ ٰلَهَ ِإاَّل ه َُو َو ِس َع ُك َّل ش
طه- ﴾20:98﴿ َى ٍء ِع ْل ًما

2:26 ال فَ ُخ ْذ َأرْ بَ َعةً ِّمنَ ٱلطَّي ِْر ْ َال بَلَ ٰى َو ٰلَ ِكن لِّي
َ َط َمِئ َّن قَ ْلبِى ق َ َوَِإ ْذ قَا َل ِإب ٰ َْر ِه ُم َربِّ َأ ِرنِى َك ْيفَ تُحْ ِى ْٱل َموْ ت َٰى قَا َل َأ َولَ ْم تُْؤ ِمن ق
هَّلل َأ ْأ
0 ِ فَصُرْ ه َُّن ِإلَ ْيكَ ثُ َّم ٱجْ َعلْ َعلَ ٰى ُك ِّل َجبَ ٍل ِّم ْنه َُّن ج ُْز ًءا ثُ َّم ٱ ْد ُعه َُّن يَ تِينَكَ َس ْعيًا َوٱ ْعلَ ْم َّن ٱ َ ع
َزي ٌز َح ِكي ٌم
And as Ibrahim supplicated (to Allahh): “My lord! Show me how you revive the dead!”
He said: “Have you not believed?” He said: “Yes of course! But to have tranquility in my heart!”
He (Allahh) said: “Then take four (compositional units) from the angels, and apply them to you
(for supplication purposes), and then ensure that, in accordance with the locution of every one of
the four compositional units (from the angels), there is a part in your composed supplication, and
then use the resulting composition for your supplication: They (the angels) will come seeking
you (i.e., your subservience). And know that Allahh is the source of evidence-based knowledge,
the source of linguistic discernment
And when Ibrāhim said: “My lord! Show me how you revive the dead (Ibrāhim referring to the
possibility that his core is dead without knowing it)!” He said: “Have you not believed?” He
said: “Yes I have! But so that (I learn how) to achieve tranquility in my core!” He (Allahh)
instructed (him): “Take four (what?) from the ‘Ṭayr’ (angels), and (linguistically) convert them
(feminine) to relate to you, and then make for every compositional unit of them (feminine: i.e., of
what you have received from the teachers), and then supplicate with them (feminine): They
(feminine) will yield to you (in accordance with) your deliberate effort! And know that Allahh is
unassailable, and provider of linguistic discernment!”
2:26 ُض ِعفُ لِ َمن يَ َشٓا ُء ْ َّمثَ ُل ٱلَّ ِذينَ يُنفِقُونَ َأ ْم ٰ َولَهُ ْم فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ َك َمثَ ِل َحبَّ ٍة َأ ۢنبَت
َ ٰ َت َس ْب َع َسنَابِ َل فِى ُك ِّل س ُۢنبُلَ ٍة ِّماَئةُ َحبَّ ٍة َوٱهَّلل ُ ي
1 َوٱهَّلل ُ ٰ َو ِس ٌع َعلِي ٌم
2:26 ٌ ْٱلَّ ِذينَ يُنفِقُونَ َأ ْم ٰ َولَهُ ْم فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ ثُ َّم اَل يُ ْتبِعُونَ َمٓا َأنفَقُوا َمنًّا َوٓاَل َأ ًذى لَّهُ ْم َأجْ ُرهُ ْم ِعن َد َربِّ ِه ْم َواَل َخو
ف َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َواَل هُ ْم
2 َيَحْ زَ نُون
2:26 ص َدقَ ٍة يَ ْتبَ ُعهَٓا َأ ًذى َوٱهَّلل ُ َغنِ ٌّى َحلِي ٌم
َ ُوف َو َم ْغفِ َرةٌ َخ ْي ٌر ِّمن
ٌ قَوْ ٌل َّم ْعر

2:26 ُاس َواَل يُْؤ ِمنُ بِٱهَّلل ِ َو ْٱليَوْ ِم ٱلْ َءا ِخ ِر فَ َمثَلُ ۥهِ َّق َمالَهۥُ ِرَئٓا َء ٱلن َ ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا اَل تُ ْب ِطلُوا
ُ ِص َد ٰقَتِ ُكم بِ ْٱل َمنِّ َوٱَأْل َذ ٰى َكٱلَّ ِذى يُنف
4 َص ْلدًا اَّل يَ ْق ِدرُونَ َعلَ ٰى َش ْى ٍء ِّم َّما َك َسبُوا َوٱهَّلل ُ اَل يَ ْه ِدى ْٱلقَوْ َم ْٱل ٰ َكفِ ِرين
َ ُصابَهۥُ َوابِ ٌل فَتَ َر َكهۥ َ ص ْف َوا ٍن َعلَ ْي ِه تُ َرابٌ فََأ
َ َك َمثَ ِل
O you who believed, do not invalidate your charities with prideful reminders (to the recipients)
or injury (by declaring such charity to others) as does one who spends his wealth to brag to
people and does not believe in Allahh and the last day. His similitude is like that of a self-
selected practice upon which is a ‘Turab’ (i.e., a multitude of people), but then (the ‘Turab’) is
hit by a deluge (of unfavorable conditions) that leaves it (i.e., the ‘Turāb’, the multitude) hard
(like barren boulders), such that they have no effect regarding anything of what they have
earned. And Allahh does not guide the rejecting people!
And the similitude of those who expend their wealth seeking the pleasure of Allahh, and as a
confirmation for themselves, instead of (spending their wealth on) themselves, is like a ‘Jannah’
(a concealed abode of privileged knowledge) on a high ground, that was afflicted by a deluge (of
unfavorable conditions), but (still) it disclosed its ‘eats’ (its speech and knowledge) two
multiples. For even if it was not afflicted by a deluge, light rain (suffices it). And Allahh grants
insight to you based only on what you toil (in the scripture).
2:26 ٱل َّش ْي ٰطَنُ يَ ِع ُد ُك ُم ْٱلفَ ْق َر َويَْأ ُم ُر ُكم بِ ْٱلفَحْ َشٓا ِء َوٱهَّلل ُ يَ ِع ُد ُكم َّم ْغفِ َرةً ِّم ْنهُ َوفَضْ اًل َوٱهَّلل ُ ٰ َو ِس ٌع َعلِي ٌم

2:26 يُْؤ تِى ْٱل ِح ْك َمةَ َمن يَ َشٓا ُء َو َمن يُْؤ تَ ْٱل ِح ْك َمةَ فَقَ ْد ُأوتِ َى خَ ْيرًا َكثِيرًا َو َما يَ َّذ َّك ُر ِإٓاَّل ُأولُوا ٱَأْل ْل ٰبَ ِ

To whomever he (Allahh) wills, he allows to learn Al-Ḥikmah (i.e., the instruments of
deduction), and whomever is allowed to learn Al-Ḥikmah, such person has been allowed to learn
copious amounts of correct applications. But none (may) seek to sow (new inquiries into his
Weltanschauung) except those with guided cores.
ٰ
2:27 ار
ص ٍَو َمٓا َأنفَ ْقتُم ِّمن نَّفَقَ ٍة َأوْ نَ َذرْ تُم ِّمن نَّ ْذ ٍر فَِإ َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَ ْعلَ ُمهۥُ َو َما لِلظَّلِ ِمينَ ِم ْن َأن َ

2:27 ص َد ٰقَ ِ
ت فَنِ ِع َّما ِه َى َوِإن تُ ْخفُوهَا َوتُْؤ تُوهَا ْٱلفُقَ َرٓا َء فَهُ َو خَ ْي ٌر لَّ ُك ْم َويُ َكفِّ ُر عَن ُكم ِّمن َسيِّـَٔاتِ ُك ْم َوٱهَّلل ُ بِ َما تَ ْع َملُونَ ِإن تُ ْبدُوا ٱل َّ
1 خَ بِي ٌر
2:27 ك هُد َٰىهُ ْم َو ٰلَ ِك َّن ٱهَّلل َ يَ ْه ِدى َمن يَ َشٓا ُء َو َما تُنفِقُوا ِم ْن خَ ي ٍْر فََأِلنفُ ِس ُك ْم َو َما تُنفِقُونَ ِإاَّل ٱ ْبتِغَٓا َء َوجْ ِه ٱهَّلل ِ َو َما تُنفِقُوا
ْس َعلَ ْي َ لَّي َ
2 َ ْ ُ ُ َأ ُ َ
ِم ْن ي ٍْر يُ َوف ِإل ْيك ْم َو نت ْم تظل ُمونَ
اَل َّ خَ
2:27 ْرفُهُم ض يَحْ َسبُهُ ُم ْٱل َجا ِه ُل َأ ْغنِيَٓا َء ِمنَ ٱلتَّ َعفُّ ِ
ف تَع ِ ضرْ بًا فِى ٱَأْلرْ ِ صرُوا فِى َسبِي ِل ٱهَّلل ِ اَل يَ ْست َِطيعُونَ َ لِ ْلفُقَ َرٓا ِء ٱلَّ ِذينَ ُأحْ ِ
3 هَّلل ُ ً ْ بِ ِسي ٰ َمهُ ْم اَل يَ ْسـَٔلُونَ ٱلنَّ َ
اس ِإل َحافا َو َما تُنفِقوا ِم ْن خَ ي ٍْر فَِإ َّن ٱ َ بِِۦه َعلِي ٌم
2:27 ار ِس ًّرا َو َعاَل نِيَةً فَلَهُ ْم َأجْ ُرهُ ْم ِعن َد َربِّ ِه ْم َواَل خَ وْ ٌ
ف َعلَ ْي ِه ْم َواَل هُ ْم يَحْ َزنُونَ ٱلَّ ِذينَ يُنفِقُونَ َأ ْم ٰ َولَهُم بِٱلَّ ْي ِل َوٱلنَّهَ ِ

2:27 ٱلَّ ِذينَ يَْأ ُكلُونَ ٱلرِّ بَ ٰوا اَل يَقُو ُمونَ ِإاَّل َك َما يَقُو ُم ٱلَّ ِذى يَتَخَ بَّطُهُ ٱل َّش ْي ٰطَنُ ِمنَ ْٱل َمسِّ ٰ َذلِكَ بَِأنَّهُ ْم قَالُ ٓوا ِإنَّ َما ْٱلبَ ْي ُع ِم ْث ُل ٱل ِّربَ ٰوا
ٓ
5 ك َأصْ ٰ َحبُ َوَأ َح َّل ٱهَّلل ُ ْٱلبَ ْي َع َو َح َّر َم ٱلرِّ بَ ٰوا فَ َمن َجٓا َء ۥهُ َموْ ِعظَةٌ ِّمن َّربِِّۦه فَٱنتَهَ ٰى فَلَ ۥهُ َما َسلَفَ َوَأ ْم ُر ٓۥهُ ِإلَى ٱهَّلل ِ َو َم ْن عَا َد فَُأو ٰلَِئ َ
ار هُ ْم فِيهَا ٰخَ لِ ُدونَ ٱلنَّ ِ
2:27 ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُوا ٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ َو َذرُوا َما بَقِ َى ِمنَ ٱل ِّربَ ٰ ٓوا ِإن ُكنتُم ُّمْؤ ِمنِينَ
8
2:28 وَِإن َكانَ ُذو ُعس َْر ٍة فَن َِظ َرةٌ ِإلَ ٰى َم ْي َس َر ٍة َوَأن تَ َ
ص َّدقُوا خَ ْي ٌر لَّ ُك ْم ِإن ُكنتُ ْم تَ ْعلَ ُمونَ

2:28 ب َك َما ب َكاتِبٌ َأن يَ ْكتُ َ ٰيََٓأيُّهَا ٱلَّ ِذينَ َءا َمنُ ٓوا ِإ َذا تَدَايَنتُم بِ َدي ٍ\ْن ِإلَ ٰ ٓى َأ َج ٍل ُّم َس ّمًى فَٱ ْكتُبُوهُ َو ْليَ ْكتُب بَّ ْينَ ُك ْم َكاتِ ۢبٌ بِ ْٱل َع ْد ِل َواَل يَْأ َ
2 ق َسفِيهًا َأوْ ق ٱهَّلل َ َربَّهۥُ َواَل يَبْخَ سْ ِم ْنهُ َش ْيـًٔا فَِإن َكانَ ٱلَّ ِذى َعلَ ْي ِه ْٱل َح ُّ ق َو ْليَتَّ ِ َعلَّ َمهُ ٱهَّلل ُ فَ ْليَ ْكتُبْ َو ْليُ ْملِ ِل ٱلَّ ِذى َعلَ ْي ِه ْٱل َح ُّ
ض ِعيفًا َأوْ اَل يَ ْستَ ِطي ُع َأن يُ ِم َّل هُ َو ف َْليُ ْملِلْ وَلِيُّ ۥهُ بِ ْٱل َع ْد ِل َوٱ ْستَ ْش ِهدُوا َش ِهي َدي ِ\ْن ِمن ِّر َجالِ ُك ْم فَِإن لَّ ْم يَ ُكونَا َر ُجلَي ِْن فَ َر ُج ٌل َ
ب ٱل ُّشهَدَٓا ُء ِإ َذا َما ُدعُوا َواَل ض َّل ِإحْ َد ٰىهُ َما فَتُ َذ ِّك َر ِإحْ د َٰىهُ َما ٱُأْل ْخ َر ٰى َواَل يَْأ َ ضوْ نَ ِمنَ ٱل ُّشهَدَٓا ِء َأن تَ ِ َوٱ ْم َرَأتَا ِن ِم َّمن تَرْ َ
ص ِغيرًا َأوْ َكبِيرًا ِإلَ ٰ ٓى َأ َجلِ ِهۦ ٰ َذلِ ُك ْم َأ ْق َسطُ ِعن َد ٱهَّلل ِ َوَأ ْق َو ُم لِل َّش ٰهَ َد ِة َوَأ ْدن ٰ َٓى َأاَّل تَرْ تَاب ُٓوا ِإٓاَّل َأن تَ ُكونَ تِ ٰ َج َرةً تَ ْسـَٔ ُم ٓوا َأن تَ ْكتُبُوهُ َ
ُضٓا َّر َكاتِبٌ َواَل َش ِهي ٌد َوِإن تَ ْف َعلُوا فَِإن ۥهَُّ ُ َ ْ َأ ُ ْ
ْس َعل ْيك ْم ُجنَا ٌح تَكتبُوهَا َو ش ِهد ُٓوا ِإذا تَبَايَ ْعت ْم َواَل ي َ اَّلَأ ُ َ ُ
ض َرةً تُ ِديرُونَهَا بَ ْينَك ْم فَلي َ
َ َحا ِ
ق بِ ُك ْم َوٱتَّقُوا ٱهَّلل َ َويُ َعلِّ ُم ُك ُم ٱهَّلل ُ َوٱهَّلل ُ بِ ُك ِّل َش ْى ٍء َعلِي ٌم فُسُو ۢ ٌ
And have discipline with regards to (engaging the words of) Allahh, and Allahh shall teach you,
and Allahh is the provider of evidence-based knowledge of everything (in the scripture).
O You who (claim to have) believed: If you take a loan with an agreed upon term, write it. And let a
scribe (e.g., a notary) write for you in (terms of) equity. And let not a scribe refuse to write as Allahh
taught him, and thus, let him write. And let the one upon whom is the debt obligation dictate (i.e.,
compose), and let him be disciplined in the way of Allahh his lord, and not diminish anything from it. But
if the one upon whom the debt obligation is incapable of knowing the correct vocabulary, or is
suppressed (i.e., mis-informed), or incapable of dictating (i.e., composing) on his own, then let his
appointed representative dictate (i.e., compose) in equity….
2:28 ض ُكم بَ ْعضًا فَ ْليَُؤ ِّد ٱلَّ ِذى ٱْؤ تُ ِمنَ َأ ٰ َمنَتَهۥُ َو ْليَتَّ ِ
ق ٱهَّلل َ َربَّ ۥهُ ضةٌ فَِإ ْن َأ ِمنَ بَ ْع ُوَِإن ُكنتُ ْم َعلَ ٰى َسفَ ٍر َولَ ْم تَ ِجدُوا َكاتِبًا فَ ِر ٰهَ ٌن َّم ْقبُو َ
3 َواَل تَ ْكتُ ُموا ٱل َّش ٰهَ َدةَ َو َمن يَ ْكتُ ْمهَا فَِإنَّ ٓۥهُ َءاثِ ٌم قَ ْلبُهۥُ َوٱهَّلل ُ بِ َما تَ ْع َملُونَ َعلِي ٌم
2:28 ض َوِإن تُ ْبدُوا َما فِ ٓى َأنفُ ِس ُك ْم َأوْ تُ ْخفُوهُ يُ َح ِ
اس ْب ُكم بِ ِه ٱهَّلل ُ فَيَ ْغفِ ُر لِ َمن يَ َشٓا ُء َويُ َع ِّذبُ َمن ت َو َما فِى ٱَأْلرْ ِ هَّلِّل ِ َما فِى ٱل َّس ٰ َم ٰ َو ِ
4 يَ َشٓا ُء َوٱهَّلل ُ َعلَ ٰى ُك ِّل َش ْى ٍء قَ ِدي ٌر
ٓ
2:28 نز َل ِإلَ ْي ِه ِمن َّربِّ ِهۦ َو ْٱل ُمْؤ ِمنُونَ ُك ٌّل َءا َمنَ بِٱهَّلل ِ َو َم ٰلَِئ َكتِ ِهۦ َو ُكتُبِ ِهۦ َو ُر ُسلِِۦه اَل نُفَ ِّر ُ
ق بَ ْينَ َأ َح ٍد ِّمن رُّ ُسلِ ِهۦ ُأ
َءا َمنَ ٱل َّرسُو ُل بِ َمٓا ِ
5 ك َربَّنَا َوِإلَ ْيكَ ْٱل َم ِ
صي ُر َوقَالُوا َس ِم ْعنَا َوَأطَ ْعنَا ُغ ْف َرانَ َ
2:28 ت َربَّنَا اَل تَُؤ ا ِخ ْذنَٓا ِإن نَّ ِسينَٓا َأوْ َأ ْخطَْأنَا َربَّنَا َواَل تَحْ ِملْ اَل يُ َكلِّفُ ٱهَّلل ُ نَ ْفسًا ِإاَّل ُو ْس َعهَا لَهَا َما َك َسبَ ْ
ت َو َعلَ ْيهَا َما ٱ ْكتَ َسبَ ْ
6 َعلَ ْينَٓا ِإصْ رًا َك َما َح َم ْلتَهۥُ َعلَى ٱلَّ ِذينَ ِمن قَ ْبلِنَا َربَّنَا َواَل تُ َح ِّملنَا َما اَل طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِ ِهۦ َوٱعْفُ َعنَّا َوٱ ْغفِرْ لَنَا َوٱرْ َح ْمنَٓا نتَ
َأ ْ
َموْ لَ ٰىنَا فَٱنصُرْ نَا َعلَى ْٱلقَوْ ِم ْٱل ٰ َكفِ ِرينَ
…)… He does not burden a person beyond what it is capable of (holding
Allahh does not hold the person accountable for anymore than he or she could handle. To each
person what he deserves. And against each person what he committed of mistakes
