WRITING PORTFOLIO

 TASK 1:
My friend Valentina is a good person, she has a funny and creative
personality. We have known each other for almost 3 years, because we live
at the same residential. We met at our residential when I was walking my dog
and she was also doing that, we were bored doing that so we decided to talk
to each other, and we realized we liked the same music, especially one
specific song, then we started to hang out every night. We both like foreign
music, we like the same celebrities, we have almost the same age, we are
both funny and we enjoy spend time with each other. The relationship is
special because even though we don't talk daily we want to tell everything to
the other one, so we keep the things and tell it when we can. And both are
always really interested in what happened to each other, So it’s still exiting
and no bored at all.

 TASK 2:
Last Sunday, two puppies were found on the bank of a river in a box. The
animal protection authorities are investigating who did this inhumane act,
but so far, they haven’t found the person who committed the crime. For now,
they are looking for someone who can take care of them while a home is
being found for them. The puppies were in very poor health and were not
breastfed by their mother. They were taken to a veterinarian who gave them
first aid and gave them food. The search for a home for these puppies is still
ongoing. We call on the community to denounce all kinds of injustice against
animals.
  TASK 3:
When you visit Bogota, there are some important things you should know.
For example, you must buy a card to ride the transmilenio. if you have
doubts, you should ask the people in uniform employed by transmilenio. In
Bogota it’s not very common to greet each other with a kiss when you’re
meeting someone for the first time. There you can visit the different tourist
sites such as the Plaza de Bolivia, the Botero Museum, the Gold Museum,
and more. You can also visit some restaurants with typical food. In Bogota it’s
acceptable to arrive 30 minutes late to your meetings, because Colombians
aren’t used to being punctual. The most common alcoholic drink is
Aguardiente, but you should drink it with moderation. In Bogota and in
Colombia it’s not acceptable for a foreigner to make jokes related to Pablo
Escobar or the guerrilla.

 TASK 4:
Few weeks ago, I ordered this glasses in this online shop, and I had a few
problems. First and the most important, they sent me another glasses and
the lens are scratched and one of them has a weird stain on it. Also, in the
online shop said that it would arrive in 2 weeks but it takes 2 months to
arrive. A few days ago I contacted the seller to tell him about my horrible
experience and to get a refund, but so far he hasn’t given me an answer.
