TECHBAG PRO

Techbag Pro
Techbag Pro is considered as an electronic handbag that charge a smartphone wireless
and tracks down the location in case of loose or steal.
Techbag Pro is composed of a handbag, a ten thousand milliamp battery, a GPS antenna,
a wireless charging coil, a LED light, FFCs (flexible flat cables) and a USB-C port.

The outer part of our invention is a regular bag whose fabric is waterproof to protect all
the electronics inside from water and dust. It has an IP34 rating, so that means climatic
adversities (such as rain or snow) won’t damage it. Since our project is an electronic bag,
we want it to be attractive to buyers, so we are working with different well-known
brands to make the exterior design, but it is essentially a rigid bag that can be coloured
in any way. The inside of the bag is also regular, but it contains a special side
compartment where the phone is placed to charge it, just where the wireless charging
coil settles.

Glued and hidden inside the fabric of the handbag’s side, there is a big and rectangular-
shaped ten thousand milliamp battery responsible to provide the necessary energy to
the wireless charging coil, the GPS antenna and the LED light. They are linked by FFCs
(flexible flat cables) hidden inside the fabric. On average, it can provide energy to charge
entirely any phone a couple of times. When there is no battery left, the battery can be
charged with household current though a universal USB type c connector.

A GPS antenna is a small rectangular device that receive GPS signals in order to track
down its location. Its main purpose is to find the handbag in case of loose or steal.
Although the GPS antenna is connected to the handbag’s main battery, there is a tenth
of the battery’s capacity reserved for it. That means that it will be possible to track the
handbag during one month from the last time that was charged. The handbag is
compatible with android and IOS tracking apps, “Find my device” and “Find my iPhone”.
They are really accurate and easy to pair, as the only requirement is to register your
handbag in our webpage with your Apple or Google ID.

A wireless charging coil is a thin and rounded in shape copper coil that uses
electromagnetic induction to provide electrical energy to electronic devices. It only
works when a compatible device is placed very close to it. As this charging coil admits
fast charging, it can reach 30 Watts of power. In order not to damage any device, it
adapts to the maximum power supported by the device that is being charged. This
technology does not compromise the life of your battery and it does not heat the phone
over thirty degrees Celsius.

The LED light is a 3mm rounded in shape coloured light placed right next to the USB type
C. It indicates the level of the battery depending on the colour. There are three levels:
It shines green when the battery is full charged. It shines orange when it’s middle
charged. And finally, it shines red if the battery is under twenty percent charged.
It’s not quite energy draining and it’s useful to see the current level of charge of the
handbag’s battery.

TECHBAG PRO

The USB type C is a universal port placed in the back part of the handbag in order to
charge its battery. There is a rubber ring around it in order to keep water and dust out.
As this port is quite common these days, it can be charged with any phone cable and a
phone wall adapter. Anyway, a cable and a 65-Watt wall adapter are included in the box.

When Handbag Pro is not charged, it works as a regular handbag. When the battery is
charged enough and the light is green, the GPS and the charging coil star working and
make the phone charge wireless. If the handbag is lost or stolen, you can track down its
location with your phone or computer in order to find it.
