Music
Atomic rose
Atomic Rose is a Honduran band sharing a paradoxical
affinity for the past and an intrigue for futuristic sounds,
combined with a collective sentiment of longing and
melancholy, is what had been secretly preparing each
individual member of Atomic Rose throughout their lives
for the day of their collision.
Delirium
Delirium is one of the pillars of Honduran rock music and
heavy metal scene. Delirium was founded in 1990 under
the name of Delirium Tremens, making his debut at the
famous San Miguel concert where the band played covers
of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
Guillermo Anderson
Guillermo Anderson is Honduras’s best-known World
Music Artist. Based in the lively Caribbean port of La
Ceiba, GUILLERMO ANDERSON and his band
CEIBANA, infuse Afro-Caribbean percussions with
contemporary sounds, local rhythms, and folklore of
Honduras' coastal regions.

Painting
Ezequiel Padilla Ayestas
Of expressionist influence, his work has stood out for its
dramatic intensity, its rebellious nature and its depth. His
balance between horror and color has given life to an
imaginary that combines social reality with dreamlike
elements.

Mary Morales
Despite her young age, María Morales, from Santa
Bárbara, has earned a place in the art scene for her
dynamic compositions. A self-taught painter, Morales has
experimented with various styles, from softly brushed
landscapes to surreal still lifes.
Celsa Flores
Born in Tegucigalpa, Celsa Flores began her artistic
education at an early age. This painter works in an
expressionist style and with a lit palette. “My work in
recent years is the result of work that allows me to value
the meanings of content and form; in the light of an
interpretation of the context generated in the field of a
personal search”,
Sculpture
Mario Zamora Alcantara
He was born in eastern Honduras (Danlí) in 1920. He
studied at the National School of Fine Arts where, among
other teachers, he was guided by the Spanish Alfredo
Ruiz Barrera.
He is a virtuous plastic artist who has lived in Mexico for
a few years, but who continues to be inspired by his
beloved Honduras to give continuity to works of high
exponential value.
Johnny Mcdonald
This is the artist Johnny Christian Sauceda, artistically
known as Johnny McDonald, who at a young age
participated in Bulgaria in the Fourth General Assembly
of Peace Flag Children.
He is currently 38 years old and continues to enjoy
success with an uninterrupted artistic career in which he
has received much satisfaction.
He is a master painter, sculptor and Ambassador of
Honduran Art, a distinction granted by President Juan
Orlando Hernández.
Alex Galo
Galo was born in April 1972. He studied at the National
School of Fine Arts (ENBA), then obtained a specialty in
pre-Columbian and colonial ceramic restoration and wood
sculpture at the Institute of Art and Culture of Panama;
He is currently studying sociocultural anthropology at
UNAH.
He taught for a short time, and has also worked producing
contemporary art in his own studio. His production also
focuses on the work of statues with the elaboration of
busts or full-length figures. He has also restored religious
images.
Film
La condesa
The Honduran film “La Condesa” was filmed in
Maryland, United States and was directed by Honduran
filmmaker Mario Ramos, who is the founder of
CabezahuecaFilms and has been a four-time winner of
Emmy awards and, with this film, awaits his fifth award.
In addition, the original script was written by Oscar
Estrada and the production was in charge of Ana Martins,
both Hondurans.
Mortal
After losing his only daughter in a car accident, a
widowed father begins a dangerous journey through
Tegucigalpa in an attempt to stop his pain, letting himself
be carried away by hate towards himself and all human
beings.
Theater
La tia de Carlos
The play was released on August 26, 2016 and reached a
final box office of 20,493 viewers. It was directed by José
Francisco Saybe. The play tells the story of Fermín,
Carlos's friend, who pretends to be his millionaire aunt. A
family meeting is planned and the problems and mistakes
begin to shine. It was a period setting.

La dama de las camelias


It was a production and direction with the seal of José
Francisco Saybe. It was presented in the month of July
2005 with a total attendance of 20,300 people. The play is
about a young aristocratic man who falls in love with a
prostitute, and they are forced to leave their life in Paris to
live in the countryside. However, problems are the order
of the day so she makes a tough decision. It was a period
piece.

Sopita de amor
The diagnosis for the dramaturgical creation on the
cultural manifestations of the problem
of Nutrition/Health in the Department of Lempira, has

the Socio-cultural Animation component of the campaign,

Murals
Oscar Banegas
That is the case of Oscar Banegas, a muralist from San
José de las Colinas, Santa Bárbara. Since he was 12 years
old, he has dedicated his life to drawing and painting and
today, at 21, he stands out for his great talent and passion.
A Honduran artist who fills the country with pride.

Dennis Berrios
Denis Berrios, Honduran plastic artist, painter and
muralist. He was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on
February 11, 1986. At the age of 17, he graduated from
the Plastic Arts career at the National School of Fine Arts;
He participated in his first collective exhibition in 2003,
beginning his professional career as an exhibitor of
pictorial work.
