original). If you like one of these topics, try to
brainstorm for alternative approaches. For
example, one student persuaded her audience
to take a Yoga class because of the health
benefits. This was an original take on the
importance of exercise.

o Must use the library’s databases for the
majority of sources
o Mix it up! Use journal articles, books,
newspapers, magazines, etc.
o Two sources may be used from a search
engine search using Google, Yahoo, etc.
