OPERATING GUIDELINES
THE ELEVATOR IS FOR THE
EXCLUSIVE USE OF GUESTS AND IS NOT A SERVICE ELEVATOR.
NO EQUIPMENT AND CATERING STAFF SHALL BE ALLOWED TO USE THE ELEVATOR FROM INGRESS TO EGRESS

1. Backdrops should be self-supporting and must not have any attachment to the walls to prevent damages.
2. Only lightweight items may be suspended from the trusses (beams). No lighting equipment.
3. Hanging of speakers, projectors, fog and/or bubble machines from the trusses is strictly prohibited.
4. Additional lighting should also be self-supporting and must not have any attachment to the
fixed/movable partitions.
5. Placement of DIRECTIONAL SIGNS or notices within GCN and its premises shall be coordinated with
GCN ADMINISTRATION
6. GCN DOES NOT ALLOW nailing and/or drilling of nails or screws thru walls and partitions. Staple wires
or screws if necessary may be attached to the back of the board up / backdrop of the stage. These must
not protrude to the front side of the backdrop.
7. The glass, walls, partitions, doors and flooring should be free of any sticky material (masking tape,
double adhesive tape, paste, glue and the like).
8. Partitions, backdrops or display boards should not obstruct the ingress/egress areas, fire exits,
hallways, air-conditioning openings
9. The CLIENT is responsible for any and all damages to the premises incurred by themselves and/or
suppliers.
10. The CLIENT is responsible for ensuring that their CONTRACTORS observe and FOLLOW THESE
GUIDELINES.
11. No sleeveless, shorts, slippers. Please provide PROPER IDENTIFICATION OF ALL STAFF
12. PLEASE FILL OUT THE EXTRA SHEET PROVIDED WITH THE COMPLETE NAME OF THE STAFF
COMING IN AND OUT OF GCN FOR THE EVENT.
a. Eating, smoking and sleeping in the event halls, its premises and other facilities (i.e. pantry, smoking area,
dressing rooms, comfort rooms, hallways and stage etc.) are prohibited.
b. The CLIENT is solely responsible for the security of any of their valuables at all times. GCN shall not store any
item/s brought into the event area for any function. Items left UNCLAIMED WITHIN 24 hours after the function
shall be disposed.
c. GCN will not be held responsible for lost equipment and/or items that the client has brought into the premises.
d. The CLIENT/CONTRACTOR is not allowed to use flammable or explosive materials (helium balloons,
fireworks, etc.) within the premises. Balloons with combustible inflates are not allowed.
e. No sawing, painting or carpentry work is allowed within the event venue or in any part of GCN building.
f. No tampering or removal of any fixture (outlets, wires, cables, etc.). If additional power supply is needed away
from our main outlets, the client should provide their own extension cords and ensure that it is securely placed.
g. No dumping and leaving of construction debris of any kind in all GCN area.
h. Moving of heavy equipment during ingress and egress without proper protection is prohibited. CLIENTS
SHOULD PROVIDE their own LADDER/S & TROLLEY/S with rubber caps / polyurethane wheels if heavy
equipment will be rolled in.
i. No sound check from 10 pm to 10 am. GCN shall do decibel checking for proper level of sound for the intended
occasion.
j. For ongoing evening events, starting at 10:00 pm, the sound system will be lowered to a tolerable level to
avoid disturbances to nearby residential and religious institutions.
k. All trash, garbage, refuse, screws, attachments, backdrops, lighting, posters, tarpaulins, booths, partitions,
etc. must be brought out of GCN and areas should be clean before you go.
l. STAGE & BACKDROP of stage in every hall MUST NOT BE MOVED TO ANY OTHER POSITION to avoid
damaging the floor.
m. All chairs and tables and other furniture that will be brought in the event venue must have rubber pads/caps to
avoid damaging the floor in the event venue.
NOTE: Should any of the guidelines not be followed, the SUB-CONTRACTORS / PRODUCTION CREW will be prohibited at GCN
EVENT VENUE.

The sub-contractors /production crews services is a separate
entity to GCN Event Venue.
The SUB-CONTRACTOR / PRODUCTION CREWS is required to provide GCN Venue a
signed hard or soft copy of this agreement at least FIFTEEN (15) DAYS PRIOR TO THE
EVENT. SIGNED Documents may be sent to email address: gcneventvenue@gmail.com
NOTE: Should any of the guidelines not be followed, the CATERER will be prohibited at GCN EVENT VENUE.
