ARCHITECT i1000SR System e-Assay CD-ROM – WW (excluding US) 43.0
Please read the following information prior to installing the ARCHITECT i1000SR System e-Assay CD-ROM – WW (excluding US) Version 43.0 (LN 4P58-43) on your ARCHITECT i1000SR System.

Note: Not all assays may be available at this time. This CD-ROM cannot be used to install the assay files on the ARCHITECT i2000/i2000SR.

The following are important facts to know before installing this Assay CD-ROM version:
• The ARCHITECT i1000SR System e-Assay CD-ROM – WW (excluding US) Version 43.0 can only be used with ARCHITECT System Software Version 8.10 or higher.
• New assay files, or assay files that are different from previous e-assay CD-ROMs, are highlighted in the Assay Specific Information and Host Configuration table below.
• Assay files not highlighted in the Assay Specific Information and Host Configuration table do not require reinstallation if you installed them from previous Assay CD-ROMs.
• Perform utilities diagnostic procedure 6029 Assay information to print a complete list of all assays installed on the ARCHITECT System. Compare the printed report to the Assay Specific Information and
Host Configuration assay table. If the assay installed is a lower version than the current assay version, the higher version should be installed. Refer to the ARCHITECT System Operations Manual,
Section 5, for information on printing a procedure report.
• To install the assays located on the assay CD-ROM, follow the instructions found in the ARCHITECT System Operations Manual, Section 2.
• Assay files that are different from the previous Assay CD-ROMs, which require installation/reinstallation, will retain all customer editable values with the exception of interpretation, GAP Parameters, QC by
Lot, QC by Kit, Result Units and linearity. If the interpretation or linearity options have been changed when a new assay version is installed, these parameters will be changed to the default value in the
updated assay file.
• All customer editable parameters are set at default values when a new assay file is installed. For information on configuring customer editable parameters, refer to the ARCHITECT System Operations
Manual, Section 2.
• Once the CD-ROM has been placed in the CD-ROM drive, allow two minutes for the drive to read the CD-ROM before proceeding with the installation instructions. If the CD-ROM will not read, remove and
reseat the CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive and again allow two minutes to read.

Assay Specific Information

1. FT4_6M assay file is being versioned to include an updated calibration validity check specification to optimize assay performance.

Special Instructions
Active-B12 (Holotranscobalamin) – Please do not install the Act-B12 assay file (384_003) until the new ARCHITECT Active-B12 (Holotranscobalamin) reagents of List Number 3P24-28 or 3P24-38,
Calibrators of List Number 3P24-02, and Controls of List Number 3P24-11 have been received.
Anti-HBs: Please do not install the Anti-HBs 2 assay file (183_001.iae) until the ARCHITECT Anti-HBs reagents of List Number 7C18-27, 7C18-37 or 7C18-34, Calibrators of List Number 7C18-03, and
Controls of List Number 7C18-13 have been received.
Please do not install the AntiHBsDil assay file (184_001.iae) until the ARCHITECT Anti-HBs reagents of List Number 7C18-28 or 7C18-38, Calibrators of List Number 7C18-03, and Controls of List
Number 7C18-13 have been received.
Anti-HBs: Please do not install the Anti-HBs 3 assay file (133_005.iae) until the ARCHITECT Anti-HBs Reagents of List Number 7C18-29, 7C18-33 or 7C18-39, Calibrators of List Number 7C18-03, and
Controls of List Number 7C18-13 have been received.
Please do not install the AntiHBsDi3 assay file (137_003.iae) until the ARCHITECT Anti-HBs Reagents of List Number 7C18-41 or 7C18-42, Calibrators of List Number 7C18-03, and Controls of List
Number 7C18-13 have been received.
Anti-HCV: Please do not install the anti-HCVII assay file (607_002.iae) until the ARCHITECT Anti-HCV reagent kits of List Number 6C37-28, 6C37-33 or 6C37-38, Calibrators of List Number 6C37-02 and
Control List Number 6C37-15 have been received and instrument requirements per package insert instructions are fulfilled.
CA19-9XR: Please do not install the CA19-9 XRL assay file (858_003.iae) until the ARCHITECT CA 19-9XR reagents of List Number 2K91-24, 2K91-32 or 2K91-39 have been received.
Cyclosporine: Please do not install the CycloA assay file (489_004.iae) until the ARCHITECT Cyclosporine reagent kits of List Number 3R30-25 and Calibrators of List Number 3R30-01 have been
received.
Estradiol: Please do not install the _Estradiol assay file (713_005.iae) until the ARCHITECT Estradiol reagents beginning with Lot Number 63021U100 (LN7K72-20) or 63021U101 (7K72-25) or
higher are received. The new lot of Estradiol reagents requires installation of assay file 713_005.iae.
Free T3: Please do not install the FT3_6 assay file version 99_003.iae until you have received ARCHITECT Free T3 reagents of List Number 7K63-27, 7K63-32, or 7K63-37, calibrators of List Number
7K63-02 and controls of List Number 7K63-12.
Free T4: Please do not install the FT4_6M assay file (110_008.iae) until the ARCHITECT Free T4 reagents (07K65-29 and 07K65-74) beginning with Lot Number 42712UD00 or higher, or the ARCHITECT
Free T4 reagents (07K65-34, 07K65-39, 07K65-77 and 07K65-78) beginning with Lot Number 43354UD00 or higher are received. The new lots of Free T4 reagents requires installation of assay file
110_008.iae.
HAVAb-IgG: Please do not install the HAVABIgG2 assay file (329_001.iae) until the ARCHITECT HAVAb-IgG reagents of List Number 6C29-22 or 6C29-27 have been received.
HAVAb-IgM: Please do not install the HAVAbIgM2 (668_003.iae) until the ARCHITECT HAVAb-IgM Reagents of List Number 6C30-22 or 6C30-27, Calibrators of List Number 6C30-02, and Controls of
List Number 6C30-11 have been received.
HBeAg: Please do not install the HBeAgQual assay file (305_019.iae) or HBeAgQuant assay file (310_004.iae) until the ARCHITECT HBeAg reagents of List Number 6C32-27 or 6C32-37 have been
received. The HBeAgQuant assay file requires ARCHITECT HBeAg Quantitative calibrators and controls of List 7P24-01 and 7P24-10.
HBsAg: Please do not install the _HBsAg6pt assay file (600_001.iae) until the ARCHITECT HBsAg reagents of List Number 6C36-29, 6C36-34 or 6C36-35 and Calibrators of List Number 3M61-02 have
been received.
Please do not install the HBsAg6pt_A assay file (595_001.iae) until the ARCHITECT HBsAg reagents of List Number 6C36-43, 6C36-44 or 6C36-47 and Calibrators of List Number 3M61-02 have been
received.
HBsAg Next Qualitative: Please do not install the HBsAgNx assay file 726_004.iae until the ARCHITECT System Software has been upgraded to Version 9.25 or higher and you have received HBsAg
Next Qualitative reagent, calibrator and control kits of List Number 4P76.
HBsAg Next Confirmatory: Please do not install the new HBsAgNx C2 and HBsAgNx C1 assay file versions 727_005.iae and 728_005.iae until the ARCHITECT System Software has been upgraded to
Version 9.25 or higher and you have received HBsAg Next Confirmatory reagent kits of List Number 4P77 and HBsAg Next Qualitative calibrator and control kits of List number 4P76.
The HBsAgNx C2 assay file (727_005.iae) must be installed prior to installation of the HBsAgNx C1 assay file (728_005.iae). The HBsAgNx %N calculated assay is automatically added with the
installation of the 727_005.iae and 728_005.iae assay files. The HBsAgNx Pa panel will be added to include the new HBsAgNx %N calculated assay.
Homocysteine: Please do not install the tHCY and tHCY Dil assay files (333_009.iae and 334_012.iae) until you have received ARCHITECT Homocysteine reagents of List Number 1L71-27. Assay File
tHCY (333_009.iae) is to be used with all undiluted and manually diluted samples. Assay File tHCY Dil (334_012.iae) is to be used with all samples tested using the autodilution protocol.
iGentamicin: Please do not install the iGent assay file (689_004.iae) until the ARCHITECT iGentamicin reagents beginning with Lot Number 73393L100 (LN1P31-25) or higher are received. The new lot
of iGentamicin reagents requires installation of assay file 689_004.iae.
Methotrexate: Please do not install the MTX UNDIL, MTX_20DF, MTX_400DF and MTX_8000DF assay files (662_004.iae, 663_004.iae, 664_004.iae and 665_004.iae) until the ARCHITECT System
Software has been upgraded to version 9.20 or higher.
Please do not install the MTX UNDIL, MTX_20DF, MTX_400DF and MTX_8000DF assay files (662_004.iae, 663_004.iae, 664_004.iae and 665_004.iae) until you have received ARCHITECT Methotrexate
reagents of List Number 2P49-27. The MTX UNDIL (662_004.iae) assay file must be installed before the dilution protocol assay files MTX_20DF (663_004.iae), MTX_400DF (664_004.iae) and
MTX_8000DF (665_004.iae) can be installed.
Progesterone: Please do not install the Progest assay file (191_030.iae) until the ARCHITECT Progesterone reagents beginning with Lot Number 63903U100 (LN7K77-20) or 63903U101 (7K77-25) or
higher are received. The new lot of Progesterone reagents requires installation of assay file 191_030.iae.
Syphilis TP: Please do not install the SyphilisTP assay file version 380_003.iae until you have received ARCHITECT Syphilis TP reagents of List Number 8D06-32 or 8D06-42.
Total T3: Please do not install the TT3_6 assay file version 256_006.iae until you have received ARCHITECT Total T3 reagents of List Number 7K64-27, 7K64-32, or 7K64-37 and calibrators of List
Number 7K64-02.
Total T4: Please do not install the TT4_6 assay file version 270_004.iae until you have received ARCHITECT TT4 reagents of List Number 7K66-22, 7K66-27, 7K66-32 or 7K66-37, calibrators of List
Number 7K66-02 and controls of List Number 7K66-12.
2nd Generation Testosterone: Please do not install the 2GenTesto assay file (235_013.iae) until the ARCHITECT 2nd Generation Testosterone reagents of List Number 2P13-23 or 2P13-28 have been
received.
25-OH Vitamin D: Please do not install the VitD 25-OH assay file (523_003.iae) until the ARCHITECT 25-OH Vitamin D reagents of List Number 5P02-25, 5P02-30 or 5P02-35, Calibrators of List Number
5P02-01, and Controls of List Number 5P02-10 have been received.
