 Basic Competence: Students learn about tourism services and students have the ability to
speak English to tourists
 Technologies are fully accessible in the classroom, therefore the student must bring their
electronic devices such as phones or laptop
2. Objectives: By the end of this lesson students will be able to :
 communicate in the airport.
 Students can choose dialog or can converse with tourists in the airport.

6. Teaching Procedure
 Teachers get ready to teach by preparing the teaching setting, turning on the screen
projector
 The teacher shows the e-book through a screen projector, and the students access it on
their own through their electronic devices.
 The teacher shows the e-book (unit 9 page 58 ) there are pictures of airport activities, the
teacher asks students who are the people and what they are doing, this is to know the
basic knowledge of students, introduce them to the lesson topic and prepare them for the
material.
 After the brainstorming teacher instruct the student to complete task 3 and 4 about check-
in individually
 Once the students had had time to finish up the task, students discuss in a group of 2 how
they completed their task by comparing their answer
 The teacher gave the students feedback by making things plain, teacher give an exact
answer to tasks 3 and 4
 After doing tasks 3 and 4, the teacher instructs the students to move to task 6 about flight
safety regulation
 Once the students had had time to finish up the task, students discuss in a group of 2 how
they completed their task by comparing their answer
 The teacher gave the students feedback by making things plain, teacher give an exact
answer to task 6
 After doing the written task based on the e-book handout, the teacher instructs the student
to work in groups of 2 and build a short dialogue (maximum 2 minutes of speech)
between a flight attendant and a tourist regarding flight regulations in the airplane,
student must use the vocabulary learned from the course book (Lesson speaking 7)
 each group worked on the task
 Once the groups had had time to think up what kind of conversation they want to carry,
they planned their report to other groups by how they will present their dialogue in front
of the class.
 Groups report to the class on their dialogue by presenting it in front of the class
 The teacher gave the group feedback on the discourse phrases, questions by the
passenger, and attitudes of the flight attendant that can be neatly used in a kind of
situation in student dialogue.
 The student considered what they had learned overall, and the students explain again
about the material that has been learned or retell understanding of all the material based.
 After the teaching, the teacher gives individual assignments with a due time of 48 hours,
and students must submit them in google classroom.
 Question and answer session regarding the assessment.
 Class dismissed.

7 . Assessment method and tools

 For Assessment, each student does individual work by promoting and describing a flight
destination to tourists, this be done by making a PowerPoint.
 Promotion should include pictures and any kind of media that makes the destination
interesting, it can be promoting its cuisine, its aesthetic, and others.
 The assessment must be submitted in Google Classroom within 48 hours.
