1. 1 Squash

The impact from the slam smashes the cake due to its light weight.

Macha's squished body encompasses the tightness of the trapdoor as David


closes it down.

The owl dove into the old fairy's shield causing it to put its weight at its
head and squash.

1. 2 Stretch

To emphasize Saoirse's obnoxious mouth breathing.

Highlight her tiny figure and enthusiasm to blow the candles.

Pulling apart the rope to tighten it.

2. Anticipation

David slightly raises his leg to kick his little sister away.

Saoirse lifts her foot to kick the can.

The Great Seanchaí waggled his arms as his body inclined forward before
falling.

3. Staging

The group's walking path was on the middle ground and had a long view to
evoke the vastness of the environment being explored.

Spotlights follow the boy's direction amidst the dark space.

Encapsulating the protagonist from the succeeding and preceding events as


hinted by the details outside his shell.

4.1 Straight Ahead

The cloud's movment and rays of sunlight to present the passage of time.

The continous raindrops.

The specks of guiding light.

4.2 Pose to Pose

The water splashes when Saoirse jumped to the water.

David climbed over the window and landed on the ground.

In crouching position to carry his little sister and stood with her on his back.

5.1 Follow Through

Her hair swings forward at the end of the run.

Dog's fur and ears floats as the dog gallops and drops as he lands on his
feet.

His cape swins up in the air and swings down as he landed.

5.2 Overlapping Action

The left leg initiates the action followed by the cape, arms, another leg, and life
vest.

Fur and ears follows after movement of legs.

His hair stretches in the opposite direction of the running motion.

6. Slow in and Slow out

Engine initiates and moved forward with gradual pace.


Car slowly breaks next to the house.

Stretches legs and body to initiate the movement.


The dog pressed its legs upon the ground and gradually stopped moving.

Wings slow down at these 2 positions but quickly switch from each other
to propel themselves upwards.

7. Arc

The Direction of bounce from the fall.

The trajectory of how she turned her head back.

The way the seals scattered.

8. Secondary Action

Release of smoke from the moving car.

Changing of expression after the initiated kick as Saoirse fell.

Putting a strand of hair behind her ear while conversing with her brother.

9. Timing

The boy's heavier weight immediately dragged her due to her lighter mass .

Added frames while being dragged up to emphasize the heaviness of the


body.

The slow movement of the key falling into his hands due to the drag force
of water.

10. Exaggeration

Widening of eyes and mouth, rolling toungue, and shaking hair from being
shock.

Thunderstorms, tidal waves, a gloomy atmosphere, and the wind struck


his hair to intensify his sorrow.

Blindingly luminous, calm, and shell like waves in the background

11. Solid Drawing

Usage of shadows and light or patterned shapes and lines directing to the
vanishing point to provide depth and 3D perspective.

12. Appeal

Overly large pupils and wide eyes, circular face and body, and light skin.
(Cute/Innocenct)

Encloaked scrawny figure, gleaming eyes, and worm's-eye perspective.


(Hostile/Mysterious)

Blocky face and arms, hunch over, crooked nose, and bulky.
(Dejected/Hollow)
