The Difference between weather and climate :

Climate describes the typical

weather conditions in an
entire region for a very long
time—30 years or more.

And the weather depends on whether there are clouds, the sun...
There are many exemples of climate, the most common ones are
tropical, dry, temperate, continental and polar
For exemple :

in France it rains and it is Weather

sunny but the climate of the
North is the oceanic climate
degraded

Careful! The weather changes every

day but not the climate! It changes Climate
every 30 years and again ...
POLAR CLIMATE

much colder than other parts of the planet, 0° in

summer and -40° in winter

CONTINENTAL CLIMATE

hot summers, cold winters, a little rainfall

TEMPERATE CLIMATE

moderate rainfall spread across the year, mild to

warm summers and cool to cold winters

DRY CLIMATE
extremely hot summer days and extremely
cold winter nights, 10 to 30 cm of Rain each
year
TROPICAL CLIMATE

constant high temperatures, all 12 months

of the year have average temperatures of
18°, no winter
How to improve

We can improve the climate change by using less energy, walk, cycle or take public transport to
reduce pollution, throw away less food, recycle and even switch to an electric vehicule.
conclusion
Climate defines and explains the conditions of the atmosphere. Above a place in the medium
and long term while meteorology is interested in the weather and in particular in the forecasts
