A MYSTERY STORY

During last summer, me and my parents took a countryside vacation, at a small town
named Charlesville. It was early July and the weather was very hot, so my parents decided we
might stay in a small house next to the river, so it would be colder and we might get in touch
with the nature. However, what I saw and felt there during 2 nights was something I will never
forget for sure.

 I remember it was close to midnight and, while everybody was sleeping, I decided to stay
awake to listen to the nature’s sounds. By that time, I remember I listened to some voices and,
for mere curiosity, wanted to go out to check who could be around. I found a small kid named
Simón, he told me he was 8 and that he lived nearby, and that his parent didn’t care much about
him, but he liked the place.

By next morning, I remember I talked about it with my parents. The house’s foreman, who
was listening, told me Simon was a spirit that wandered around over 20 years ago, because by
the time that kid was actually 8, his parents punished him so hard that beat him to death. I talked
to a ghost, What a terrific story.
