CONTRIBUTION OF MAGNET TO ELECTRICITY

In the field of physics, electricity and magnetism are two crucial subjects. We will study the
ideas of magnetism and electricity, as well as how they relate to one another. As magnets attract
or repel one another, they exert a force known as magnetism. The movement of electric charges
is what generates magnetism. Atoms are little building blocks that make up all substances. There
are electrons in every atom, which are charged particles.
When a magnetic field is created by flowing electrons, while the electric current is created by
rotating magnets. The interaction of these two powerful forces is referred to as electromagnetism.
Almost every technology, appliance, car, and equipment we use relies on electricity and
magnetism. But in magnetism and Electricity, it has also difference between them, like in the
presence of electricity and magnetism, then
Magnetism only manifests itself when there are moving charges caused by electricity, although
electricity can be present in a static charge, In other words, magnetism cannot exist without
electricity, yet electricity can exist without magnetism.
The word electromagnetism comes from a combination of the Greek words electron, meaning
“Amber” and magnetics lithos, meaning “Magnesian stone” which is a magnetics iron are. The
ancient Greeks were familiar with electricity and magnetism, but considered them to be two
separate phenomena. An electric current in a wire generates a magnetic field around the wire.
The direction of the magnetic Field (Clock wise Or counter Clock wise) depends on the direction
of the current. This is the “right and rule” , where direction of the magnetic Field follows the
fingers of your right hand if you thumb is pointing in the current direction.
