Floor-To-Ceiling Height Partitions. These Automatic Control Devices Shall
Automatically Turn Off Lights Within 30 Minutes Of All Occupants Leaving The
Space, And Shall Either Be Manual On Or Shall Be Controlled To Automatically
Turn The Lighting On To Not More Than 50 Percent Power.
B. Full Automatic-On Controls Shall Control Lighting In Stairways, Corridors,
Restrooms, Primary Building Entrance Areas And Lobbies, And Areas Where
Manual-On Operation Would Endanger The Safety Or Security Of The Room Or
Building Occupants.
C. Location And Quantity Of Occupancy Sensors For Lighting Control Is

Contiguous Daylight Zones Adjacent To Vertical Fenestration Are Allowed To Be
Controlled By A Single Controlling Device Provided That They Do Not Include
Zones Facing More Than Two Adjacent Cardinal Orientations (I.E., North, East,
West, South).
C. Daylight Zones Enclosed By Walls Or Ceiling Height Partitions And Containing Two
Or Fewer Light Fixtures Are Not Required To Have A Separate Switch For General
Area Lighting.
D. Set-Point And Other Controls For Calibrating The Daylight Lighting Control Device
Shall Be Readily Accessible.
