‘BERG TO HOST OPEN SATURDAYS
New Visitation Opportunities for Prospective Students

Prospective students will have the opportunity to experience life on Heidelberg’s campus
through Open Saturday visits beginning Saturday, Sept. 17.

These visit days will be offered on Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Oct. 22, and Nov 5 for the fall semester.
Open Saturdays entail a tour of Heidelberg, a student life panel, and lunch on Heidelberg’s
campus with a current student.

Saturday visits to the ‘Berg offers prospective students a chance to visit the college campus
without the constraint of working around school and practices. Open Saturdays also offer a more
personal look at college life than a weekday visit.

“Open Saturdays are different than individual visits because you get to hear from a panel of real,
current students so you can ask questions about dorms and student life,” said Heidelberg’s Visit
Coordinator Vic Bunevich. “Getting the chance to eat in the dining hall is a really big thing for a
lot of students because you have to commit to that for four years of your life.”

Prospective students will also meet coaches, professors, and admission counselors throughout the
day to learn about every aspect of a Heidelberg education.

Students interested in signing up for Open Saturdays can visit

heidelberg.edu/admission-aid/schedule-a-visit and select the Open Saturday that works for them.

“Since it’s the beginning of the school year, we are offering Open Saturdays primarily for juniors
and seniors,” said Bunevich. “Normally the spring Open Houses are more for the seniors getting
ready to commit to colleges.”
