ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I would like to thank and express my deep gratitude to the respected Mentor ADVOCATE
VINAY GAUR. Where I undertook & completed my 4 weeks internship, who has been my
constant support, source of encouragement, and inspiration, and guided and helped me
complete my Summer Internship. I would also like to offer my due sense of gratitude to all
my teachers and every person for their support and for assisting me in providing the best of
all possible facilities for completing my internship as well as at the time of the drafting of this
report.
AGRA DISTRICT COURT

A historical fact about the Heritage Court building at Agra Sadar Dewani Adalat and Sadar
Nizamat Adalat was established on 01-01-1832. The honorable court was established by
Letter Patent of Her Majesty, dated the 17TH March 1866, at Agra. It was located in the
building.

The honorable High Court was shifted to Allahabad in the year 1869. Thereafter this building
became the Court of District Judge Agra.

Renovation work was completed in March 2013 and the District Judge’s Court started to
function again from there.

There are 6 Tehsils in Agra District.

5
INTRODUCTION
In July 2022, I did my internship for the 6 th Trimester of 2nd Year under Advocate Vinay Gaur
in Agra District Court.

On the very first day of our internship program, I was introduced to the members and
practicing lawyers who were to lead us during the period of this internship. They provided us
with some information on how things work out in courts, and how some basic drafting is
necessary, and the faculty and the lawyers themselves shared some learning about practicing
as a lawyer which was very helpful.
Benefits:

 For the whole of the month, they demanded four tasks to be completed by us which
included a Research paper (with which they provided us with the sample formatting), a
Bail Application with case references, and a Case Commentary on one of the cases of
Supreme Court after 2018.
 Throughout these tasks, every type of help was provided to us with the layout samples
and drafting errors. We were attended every weekend for the respective work and were
asked to update and remove mistakes which the faculty may counsel us.
 After the completion of the Internship, all of our tasks were checked and the organization
claimed to render any kind of help necessary for the publication of Research Articles,
they also offered to contact them.

7
CONCLUSION

Pursuing this summer training I got an opportunity to get some exposure in the field of law.
Research work was the basis of my internship and included dimensions of civil corporate
litigation. All of which was an over-the-top experience. Such summer training helps a law
student to reborn and replenish himself and explore his bounds of training. Expertise in law
comes through reading which the pre-requisite to our training was. When it comes to
observance of trials in the courts, was an essential part of an intern's learning. Observance of
trials and court proceedings helps in understanding the very root of the law in India.
Proceedings are the whole mechanism by which analysis is always advisable. With a vote of
thanks and gratefulness for reading this report thoroughly and for giving me this wonderful
opportunity to grow up my vision in this field of law, I conclude this report with a great lot in
my mind.

With Warm Regards

Yours Faithfully

Aditi Mishra
