2.Explain the concept of drug abuse in legal point of view.

- Personal: it will just ruin my life and most especially my health
- Family: it can ruin the family because of too much drug abuse, it can hurt the family
financially and most especially, it can tear the family apart
- Peers and Friends: it may ruin your relationships with others because no one willl want
to be with you if you are using illegal drugs. You will only attract illegal drug users also
- School: it can ruin your education because the school will kick you out if you are using
illegal drugs
- Community: it can ruin your image in the community if you are an illegal drugs user.

3.Enumerate and discuss the routes in administering drugs.

- Oral route:it is placed in the mouth and swallowed. Some drugs are taken in the mouth.
- Sublingual/Buccal route:it is placed under the tongue or in the gums and will let it
dissolve in the mouth.
- Rectal route:it is absorbed into the circulation by the rectal mucosa. This route can be
used for systemic drug administration
- Topical route:it is applied to the skin or other parts of the body such as eyes, ears, nose ,
etc. Topical medications are typically available in creams, ointments, liniments and
drops.
- Transdermal route:it is contained with a patch that is absorbed through the skin.
