INTRODUCTION

The former national hero once said that the youth are the hope of the
people, I hope he is right, I hope he sees the youth in this time. I hope
this hope is not just a hope that can be realized and fulfilled. That those
young people will build a developed, progressive and peaceful nation.
That the people’s hopes are not the people’s burdens.
In today’s youth they carry their emotions and make a mistake that

In modern times, social media has a huge influence on youth anger. The
researcher of this study wants to show the impact of teenage
pregnancy on the mental and emotional health of young people who
experience it in Sitio Tabing Ilog.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Have we ever asked ourselves where or what came from the early
marriages of young people? The second type of teenage preganacy is
early marriage. Early marriage is a very heavy responsibility entered by
teens. Teenage Pregnancy or Pregnancy of women aged 12 to 19 is a
widespread issue not only in the Philippines but all over the world.
According to the "Save the CHILDREN" statistic, 13 million women
around the world get pregnant at the age of 20 and younger every year.
As a result, governments are undertaking massive campaigns to lower
the number of teenage pregnancy cases. According to 2010 data, there
were almost 4.8 million registered young mothers in the country. In
fact, seven out of ten pregnant women are at least 19 years old.
Word Bank confirmed this and said the philippines is one of the
countries with the largest number of young mothers. In the Philippines,
a large percentage of women who get pregnant early belong to the
low-income generating group. Because they are not yet adults, most
young people who get pregnant early do not get married. They are also
forced to stop studying until they give birth. But, many of them
eventually stop studying to work. The growing number of young people
getting pregnant early is said to reflect the current state of the
country’s economy. The declining population and the lack or limited
ability of young people to support their children is one of the causes of
worsening poverty in the country. In other words, the more early you
get pregnant, the higher the level of poverty.

There are many reasons why teens get pregnant early, but the most
common reason is that they get pregnant accidentally due to peer
pressure or the transmission to the people around them especially to
the people around them especially to friends or emotional blackmail
used by their fiancé. to the woman where love can be proven through
sexual intercourse. It is also said that just a young woman with a
boyfriend who is more or older than her is more likely to be
emotionally blackmailed. Poverty in the family leading to youth
rebellion. Media, internet television is the cause of the awakening of
the minds of young people to sex and above all is the lack of education
which lacks the knowledge of a young s atamang Gawain. Some of the
reasons are also the lack of proper parental guidance. A young woman
is more likely to become pregnant if her parents have limited or no
proper guidance. Parents who are too busy are unable to provide
proper guidance to their children who are making important life
decisions, for example on early intercourse and what teenage
pregnancy is. When a child is uncomfortable talking about his problem
because of the taboo on talking about sex at home, or his parents are
too busy for it, he will look for answers to such issues with his peers.
This can lead to the exchange of misinformation that can lead to early
pregnancy. Lack of proper knowledge is one of the reasons referred to
here. Young people who are not taught correctly about sex are more
likely to be victims of unwanted pregnancy. There are young people
who do not yet fully understand the biological and emotional aspects
associated with sex. These young people find out that they got the
wrong information from friends, videos, telenovelas or movies. Often,
teenagers do not have the right knowledge to make the right decisions
whether to have sex or not. And last of all, young people's alcohol
consumption can lead to unwanted pregnancies. Many young people
experiment with drugs and alcohol. Drinking impairs teens' ability to
control their emotions, which accounts for more than 75% of teenage
pregnancy cases.
