from God. It is rather curious and unfortunate
that these same children are subjected to abuses
and neglect. Childhood is recognized as a

With that, the National Children's Month is

annually celebrated every November pursuant to
Republic Act 10661, titled An Act Declaring the
Month of November of Every Year as the
National Children's Month seeking to promote
the protection of children's rights. This year,
Mahabang Parang Elementary School celebrated
the 3oth National Children's Month (NCM)
with the theme, Kalusugan, Kaisipan, at
Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata Ating T'utukan! The
campaign focuses on three core aspects :
Kasama Ako o Adbokasya Para sa Sarili;
Empowering our learners to know their rights,
speaking up for oneself, express their ideas and
needs and act, Kasama Kayo o Adbokasya Para
sa Kapwa.
