MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

Since teachers are frequently the first line of defense for their students, mental health
awareness is a crucial issue for all educators. Education professionals are aware of how a
student's mental health affects their learning and achievement, and they also understand that
there is a lot that can be done to support students who are struggling with mental health
issues. As a teacher with over 3 years of experience, I applaud the fact that mental health
education is now a significant component of the mission and curriculum of schools.
As a result, we organized a simple symposium on mental wellness and mental health
care for Grade 3 pupils and parents. The activity's main goal is to educate them about mental
health awareness. The topics were about Focusing on Burnout, Mental Health Law and
Flexibility Work. Mindfulness was also introduced. It was all about being fully aware of
whatever happening at the present and avoid focusing in the past and the future.
As a conclusion to that, taking care of oneself and everything will follow. There
should be a balance between personal life and work. That we should be more focused on our
present and do not mind the past and the future. Stressors are always there but there are many
ways to deal with them like exercises that will calm us down.

This symposium was indeed a success because it helps us in our daily life.
