Mission: All Peoples Community Center (All Peoples) is an all-encompassing neighborhood

center whose mission is to provide social services and programs that empower individuals and
promote community, respect and self-determination for all.

They are a comprehensive community center, delivering many social and educational services
and activities for: Eliminating Generational Poverty, Food Security, Youth/Adult Employment
Services, Community Building, Financial Empowerment, Youth Development, Senior Volunteer
Opportunities.

The reason I chose this non profit organization is because they help and treat everyone
equally no matter their race and ethnicity. Their program is integrated to work with the entire
family, their approach is the TwoGeneration Model, “providing services to both child and adults
simultaneously and tracking outcomes for both.” They work closely with the youth because
everyone knows that “college is possible'' regardless of socioeconomic status. This non profit
organization helps my community by letting others have the same opportunities as everyone else
no matter where they come from. It also helps because for every donation they get they do a lot
with it. For example if someone donates $150 it will feed a family of 4 for a month. I would be
helping the youth with tutoring, helping with sports leagues, and helping with answering calls
from donors. I would feel more accomplished in helping others and know that I did something
for my community.
