Its a bad bill, except the canopy part. Even then the don't use the canopy figure they told
Holder we needed to avoid diversion. Then the SOB went out and raised the canopy .

I haven't had time to check out the bill but as someone who was a victim of the personal
attacks mentioned and a witness to Christopher King being described as an animal and
someone who must me stopped, and the way Sami Saad was treated, I have to agree
with a lot of what Mr. Bossett says.

ESHB 5080: An Act Relating to Expanding and Improving the Social

Equity in Cannabis Program

After years of hard work from community advocates like BEiC and lawmakers,

ESHB 5080 is making much needed changes to the current Social Equity
Program. This bill is an important step forward in creating a more equitable
cannabis industry in Washington State. The WA Build Back Black Alliance has
been fighting for social equity since 2020, and we are excited to see this bill
become law. ESHB 5080 will create opportunities for people who have been
 disproportionately harmed by prohibition. Implementing the social equity
program should be the beginning.
