Pelaez provided the


employees the means for them to be able to satisfy their needs. He gave them proper
knowledge of education and boost their self-esteem. He also helped the employees to
have a US citizendship. This action of Mr. Pelaez motivated and boosted the moral
of the employees, and as a result it gave huge profit in the company.

Giving rewards, compliments, and education. I think that this things can greatly
influence the work of my employees. Making them feel important, cared of, and
valued is the best thing you can give to your employees. I think this will be
enough to raise their motivation.

The barriers that could only think of are other employees might think of me having
favoritism because of the rewards and for education because not all have the same
level of education. I can talk to them and make them understand you can gain
something as long as you work hard. Some may receive rewards and some may not.
Those who did not receive any reward should work harder and prove to the others
that you also have the ability to do it. For education I will focus more on
educating those who has a lower level of education.

I think that attitude is the largest influence on the employees' behavior. Your
attitude towards your employees can give them a hint on how you see your employees.
Employees tends to work harder if you treat them well. Don't think of them as a
mere employees, but think of them as your colleage that you work with.

If it's a functional stress or functional anxiety, then it's easier to correct it


or cure it. I will give my employees experiences(as many as possible). This will
give him/her confidence and help him/her perform better. I will also provide
seminars that can help them gain more knowledge so that it would boost their
confidence. In short I should help my employees gain confidence and knowledge.
