ilong at bibig.

Find a comfortable position. You may close your eyes if you are comfortable, or you can simply lower
your gaze. Helping your body relax by breathing slowly and deeply. Now, breathing as deeply as you
can. As you inhale, and can no longer take any air in, hold your breath for a few seconds. Holding it
while counting to three, five or 10, whatever is comfortable.
Then, exhale slowly, in a calm way. Again, inhaling deeply, holding it a few counts. When you are
ready, exhaling slowly. As you exhale, imagining that your breath washes away all the tensions in
your body, going out through your nose and mouth. Doing this again and again. Inhaling
slowly…holding it…and exhaling calmly.
And now, making a fist with each hand. Tightening these fists as hard as you can, until you feel the
tension in your hands and arms. Very quickly, loosening your hands. Noticing your hands feeling
lighter, becoming more relaxed. Doing it again. Curling your fingers into fists again, as tightly as you
can. Very quickly, loosening your hands. Again, noticing how your hands may be feeling lighter,
becoming more relaxed. Taking a deep breath and feeling good.
This time, tightening your forehead and eyebrows. Tightly shutting your eyes. Pursing your lips and
clenching your jaws. Biting as tightly as you can. Noticing the tension on your face. Then, loosening
up. Noticing your relaxed face, the lightness of the experience. Taking a deep breath, and just
feeling good.
Now, let’s go to the head and neck. If you like, you may close your eyes and pull your head back so
you are looking up. Noticing the tension on your neck. Moving your head towards the right…and the
left. Noticing the tension shifting from one part of your neck to the next. Bringing your head down
nearer your chest and trying to press your mouth against your chest. Feeling the tension on your
neck and shoulders. Lifting up your head and letting it rest in a comfortable position. Taking a deep
breath, and just feeling good
Now, lifting your shoulders. Then, just letting it loose and feeling your muscles relax. Taking a deep
breath, and just feeling good. Continuing the deep breaths…inhaling…and exhaling.
When you are ready, you may open your eyes.

malikhain.
