ilong at bibig.

Humihinga
ng malalim at nadarama ang kaginhawaan.

Ngayon naman, itinataaas ang mga balikat. Bigla namang itong binibitiwan at mararamdaman ang
pagrelaks. Humihinga ng malalim at nadarama ang kaginhawaan. Ipinagpapatuloy ang paghinga ng

MODULE 7 RESOURCE: PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION SCRIPT

Find a comfortable position. You may close your eyes if you are comfortable, or you can simply lower
your gaze. Helping your body relax by breathing slowly and deeply. Now, breathing as deeply as you
can. As you inhale, and can no longer take any air in, hold your breath for a few seconds. Holding it
while counting to three, five or 10, whatever is comfortable.

Then, exhale slowly, in a calm way. Again, inhaling deeply, holding it a few counts. When you are
ready, exhaling slowly. As you exhale, imagining that your breath washes away all the tensions in
your body, going out through your nose and mouth. Doing this again and again. Inhaling
slowly…holding it…and exhaling calmly.

And now, making a fist with each hand. Tightening these fists as hard as you can, until you feel the
tension in your hands and arms. Very quickly, loosening your hands. Noticing your hands feeling
lighter, becoming more relaxed. Doing it again. Curling your fingers into fists again, as tightly as you
can. Very quickly, loosening your hands. Again, noticing how your hands may be feeling lighter,
becoming more relaxed. Taking a deep breath and feeling good.

This time, tightening your forehead and eyebrows. Tightly shutting your eyes. Pursing your lips and
clenching your jaws. Biting as tightly as you can. Noticing the tension on your face. Then, loosening
up. Noticing your relaxed face, the lightness of the experience. Taking a deep breath, and just
feeling good.

Now, let’s go to the head and neck. If you like, you may close your eyes and pull your head back so
you are looking up. Noticing the tension on your neck. Moving your head towards the right…and the
left. Noticing the tension shifting from one part of your neck to the next. Bringing your head down
nearer your chest and trying to press your mouth against your chest. Feeling the tension on your
neck and shoulders. Lifting up your head and letting it rest in a comfortable position. Taking a deep
breath, and just feeling good

Now, lifting your shoulders. Then, just letting it loose and feeling your muscles relax. Taking a deep
breath, and just feeling good. Continuing the deep breaths…inhaling…and exhaling.
When you are ready, you may open your eyes.

MODULE 11 HANDOUT: LIMANG KASANAYAN NA MAHALAGA SA PAGLUTAS NG PROBLEMA

(FIVE SKILLS IN PROBLEM SOLVING)

kayang lutasin at nasa-kontrol nila. Make sure the problem is not just a symptom
of an underlying problem. Identify the root problem. Focus on a problem that is
within your control.

IDENTIFY THE OBJECTIVE OF PROBLEM SOLVING AND

POSSIBLE BARRIERS: Upon identifying the problem,
identify the goal and possible barriers that are in the way
of achieving this. This is helpful in identifying the root
cause of the problem.

malikhain.

BRAINSTORMING AND CREATIVE THINKING

Come up with as many solutions to the problem through brainstorming to solve a problem. There are
four guiding principles for this technique: 1) all suggestions are taken without judgement 2) the goal
is to give as many ideas and suggestions 3) those in the group are encouraged to provide all
suggestions and comments without hesitation or fear of rejection 4) ideas that spark inquiry and
further thought are encouraged to facilitate greater creative thinking.

IDENTIFY THE BEST SOLUTION GIVEN THE CURRENT SITUATION

Deciding or choosing the best solution is finding appropriate steps to address the problem. This is
executed through the use of intuition or reasoning. There is a need to analyze possible
outcomes for each solution. Intuition must be used to identify the feelings attached to the
chosen response.

PAGDEDESISYON

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH INFORMATION TO MAKE A DECISION.

Decision-making may possibly be ineffective if information is insufficient or too much, or even if
there are plenty of people involved/ taking part in the process.

IMPLEMENTATION of the identified solution. This is in

line with proper planning, organizing and execution. It is also important
to identify and seek for help from people who are in the best position to
offer support or provide assistance to execute plans.
