 Reflection on Personal Lifelong Learning Plan
Making my Personal Lifelong Learning Plan made me ponder at so many things, a lot of questions popped out on my head and
realizations starts to awaken me on my slumber and stock-still of knowledge I thought is sufficient moving on. I have lost a lot of time in
advancing in life while nearly motionless in acquiring new learnings. I am thankful for my peers that convinced me to take this GURO21 course
with them, a blessing at the right time indeed. It became a paradigm-shifting event that jolts me awake that I need more knowledge, I want more
knowledge and I will gain more knowledge. Indeed, GURO21 course is a life-changing experience.

Designing a Personal Lifelong Learning Plan is not an easy task, but a daunting labor with so many things to consider. It is a useful tool
for assessing oneself on where he presently stands and where he wants to be as a 21 st century teacher. It helped me identify my strongpoints that
needs to enhance and my weak points that I need to develop. It is also effective in setting attainable goals with a timetable to constantly remind
me on the things I need to accomplish at a given time. I was able to gauge my level of competencies in the different literacies allowing me to
devise a strategy for improving my performance in implementing the lifelong learning plan as a 21st century teacher.

“There is always one more thing to learn.” by Steve Jobs is indeed my go to quote in crafting my Personal Lifelong Learning Plan. It
made me realize that there is never enough when it comes to being better and that as a teacher, I should always be creative, innovative, and never
ever stop improving because learning is a lifelong process, wherever we are, whatever we do there will always be lessons and learnings. This
plan taught me ways on how to further develop and improve myself. Yes, it also identifies the barriers and hindrances but as a 21 st Century
learner lets us always find ways. Let us always bear in our minds that as educators, the future of our students depends on us. Let us continue to
improve ourselves as it will enable us to give more knowledge, skills, learnings and incorporating it with the right attitude and values we can
better prepare our students to tackle life and give them a better future.
