SCI JOB RECRUITMENT

Recruitment refers to the process of identifying, interviewing, selecting and hiring


employees. It involves everything from the identification of a staffing need to filling
it.

SELECTION OF EMPLOYEE: PROCEDURE FOR JOB APPLICATION


A. Applicants considered for employment are required to submit, accomplish or
undergo the following:
1. Photocopies of Original Transcript of Record;
2. Photocopy of Rating of Board Exam, Professional Exam, or Certification
Exams relevant to the position;
3. Written and/or manual tests as deemed necessary by the administration;
4. Photocopies of certificates of related academic and non-academic awards;
5. Resume;
6. A photocopy of his or her National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance;
and
7. Photocopies of Certificates of Attendance or of Participation in related
seminars.
B. An interview shall be conducted by the Human Resource Officer, School
Administrator or his designated representative. Qualified applicants may be given
written examinations and skill tests. It is the policy of the school to hire the most
suitable and capable individuals to fill existing as well as new vacant positions.

C. Final selection will be done by the department head from the qualified applicants
screened by the School Screening Committee or his designated representative.

D. Duties and responsible of employed personnel are to be identified by the


Department Head and may be changes as deemed necessary by the School
Administrator.

E. All appointments are subject to approval by the School Administrator and a letter
of appointment will be endorsed to the Human Resource Officer for the probationary
period of regulations for private schools.

F. The school shall not engage any person for training, voluntary work, temporary or
casual, contractual and employment without prior approval by the School
Administrator. Temporary or casual employment is for occasional or seasonal work
covering a period of less than six (6) months. Contractual employment is on a
contract
basis to perform work on a specified or piece work project or as temporary
replacement for a regular employee on leave.

G. Affinity Policy

a) The School has a policy of not hiring married couples who both apply in the
same department.
b) When two (2) single people who are employees in the same department
get married within the academic year or when an employee is in a position to
have influence on a decision concerning a relative, one may be reassigned to
another department in the next academic year or term of contract.
