Description

Diesel fuel is a middle distillate obtained from the atmospheric distillation of crude oil. Its ignition
quality is known by the Cetane Index or the Cetane Number. The first is calculated based on certain
properties of distillation, while the second is more accurate because it is measured in an engine under
standard conditions.

Uses

It is used as fuel in diesel engines; for electric and mechanical power generation, and in furnace
burners, driers and boilers.

FOB or DES according to Incoterms 2000 Edition.

Delivery

High sulphur diesel is exported through the port of Mamonal on the Atlantic Coast of Colombia.
