At the Shopping Centre

Jenna walked into the crowded shopping Centre and looked for her friends. They were supposed to
meet by the interior water fountain and then go buy the tickets to movie which has just came out. But
as she got to the meeting point, she realised that none of her pals were there. She tried texting and
calling them, but got no response. She thought that they were just a little late and would arrive at the
fountain any minute, but she waited for a quarter of minutes and still nobody showed up.

Then suddenly she got a notification on her phone. It was her friends, but it wasn't a call or a text
message from them, it was a notification from a picture that has just been posted, with her friend group
being in a park. Jenna felt left out and shed into tears overwhelmed with negative emotions and just
when she was about to leave, she bumped into a girl from her English class named Emma. "Are you
okay?" Emma asked, and Jenna burst into tears as she explained the whole situation. Then Emma
suggested that the 2 of them could go to the movie instead, and Jenna agreed.

Even after all these despondent events, Jenna managed to have fun with Emma and discovered that
they actually have a lot of things in common!

The feeling of frustration was still there because it's pretty difficult to distance yourself from a toxic
close friend group, but at least she made a potential new good friend.
