Will religion ever disappear?

Very soon after the appearance of people on our planet, religion also appeared.
Buddhism, Christianity and Islam have existed for over 2000 years and lead millions
of people. But more and more people prefer atheism. Could this mean that soon
religion will disappear and everyone will start positioning themselves as atheists?
The future is impossible to predict, but an analysis of what we know about
religion, including why it came about and why some people come to faith, can help
predict how people's attitudes toward religion will evolve in the coming decades
and centuries.
The main key to religion is faith. A person is a creature that often just needs to
believe in something. Religion is what helps people to justify themselves, it is
what gives people the opportunity to hope for good things that often seem
impossible, to believe and hope for a way out of some difficult situations, without
making any effort, but purely thanks to the forces from above. This is the origin
and existence of religion up to this time.
People like to shift responsibility, to simply rely on someone else instead of
holding their destiny in their own hands. Many people find it much easier to
believe in God and not in themselves, it often seems easier. Another reason why
people believe in higher powers is this thing that can be called "breathing". In
principle, many people have nothing but faith, except belonging to a particular
religion, and this fills them. It is also necessary not to forget that there is
such a thing as fear for one's life after death, on which religions are based. And
I also cannot help but mention such a thing as the inculcation of religion from
childhood.
If you sum up all these aspects thanks to which people come to religion, you can
understand that it existed, exists and will exist. It is an important and very
strong thing that imbues the morality of such beings as humans.
