Camera pans up pavement to Andrew walking, he bumps into his landlord

Landlord

Andrew, Andrew. I was here this morning to collect your rent.

Andrew

I’m sorry I will have the money by tomorrow

Landlord

This is the fourth month you haven’t paid rent, it’s the same excuse every month

Andrew

I know I know I said I’m sorry, it’s just I’ve been so busy I forget

Landlord

Same old excuse, you have till Friday or you’re out!

The Landlord walks away leaving Andrew dazed

Masked transition

INT. Apartment

Andrew gets in from work and picks up an eviction notice. He throws it on the floor. He
stumbles through the bedroom and looks and the bottles and pills. He walks back out to the door
and uncrumples the notice. He looks in his wallet revealing nothing. He then slumps defeated on
his chair. His eyes contact a silver object. He gets an idea.
Masking Transition to next day

Andrew wakes up with a bounce, ready for the day. He brushes the bottles and pills off his bed
ignoring them. He goes to his front room and picks up the silver object and goes to head out the
door. When his hand touches the door, he looks back at the notice and heads out.

Uh hi I have this item I’d like to sell but

Andrew hands over his items to the manager

Andrew looks down

Andrews head shoots up

Andrew

Yes, I’m sorry I can’t do much more than that it’s the best I can do, you can keep it don’t worry

Manager

Andrew

Andrew walks out and it cuts to black

A montage of him selling items plays, gradually getting quicker and quicker

INT. Andrews room

Andrew opens the door and makes eye contact at the camera which acts as the bed, he walks
over and covers the camera creating a black screen which turns into an opening transition of him
getting the magical stick out of the bed compartment, Andrew stares at the magical stick and
closes the bed compartment leaving it yet again in darkness to transition in Andrew walking out
of the apartment

INT.Pawn shop

Muffled talking
Andrew passes the item over to the manager

Manager

Woah, is this what i think it is ? Where'd you find this?

Andrew

Well, i've been finding stuff around my house recently because im getting evicted so yeah i found
this

Manager

What and you just found this laying around?

Andrew
 Yep

Manager

Wait let me see how much it is

The manager reaches into his pocket and gets out his phone

Manager

Its, its one hundred thousand!

Andrew

Oh my god no way!

EXT. Apartment complex door

Landlord

Andrew, Andrew, I said you have until friday or you're out!

Andrew

relax i got it here

He passes over the money in cash

Landlord
Wow how did you get it so fast?

Andrew
