Introduction to the trip
Busan is a very popular and big city. Many tourists have Busan in their bucket list when visiting
South Korea because of its beaches, hot springs, and nature reserves. You will be traveling
from Los Angeles, California to Busan, South Korea. You will be staying in Busan, South Korea
for Four days, this does not include the days of your flight. Each flight will take about a day to
arrive at your destination. You will explore Five different places that are tourist attractions. On
the day that you arrive in Korea you will settle in a guest house to rest. There will be five places
that you will be visiting, which are Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, Haeundae Market,
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Oryukdo Skywalk In Igidae Park, and Haeundae Beach. You will
spend a day in each of these places. After exploring all of these places you will be leaving
Busan, South Korea and return to Los Angeles, California.

● Shoes
● (Don’t take too many things because you’ll want to bring a lot of things from Korea)
Things to know
● Transportation is really cheap, you can get a T-money card to pay for the bus fare
● South Korea has one of the lowest crime rate so you don’t have to worry about going out
very late at night, but always be careful
● Giving tips when going to a restaurant is not necessary
● People don’t usually talk while they are using public transportation

● Yes – 네 (ne)
● No – 아니요 (a-ni-yo)
● Hello – 안녕하세요 (an-nyeong-ha-se-yo)
● Thank you – 고맙습니다 (go-map-seum-ni-da)
● Ok – 괜찮아요 (gwaen-chan-a-yo)
● I don’t know – 몰라요 (mollayo)
● Sorry – 미안해요 (mi-an-hae-yo)
● Goodbye – 안녕히 가세요 (an-nyeong hi ga-se-yo)
● Excuse me - 저기요 (john-gee-yo)
● How much is it - 얼마예요 (eol-ma-ye-yo)
Flight Detail

● The Airline you will b traveling with is Korean Air


● It will depart from LAX at 11:30 pm and it will arrive at 9:10 am in PUS (It is a 17 hour and 40 minute flight.)
● It will depart from PUD at 10:45 am and it will arrive in LAX at 9:40 am (It is a 14 hour and 55 minute flight)
Day 1 - Gamcheon Cultural Village
● You’re going to eat breakfast at the guest house
● Take the bus 2 minutes away from the guest house, then get off at Yeongrak church and walk for
about 20 minutes
● Explore the village by purchasing a map from the Haneul tourist center and collect stamps along
the way to win a prize
● Street food is very popular in busan, the most popular is Ssiat Hotteok (1000-5000 wons/ 1-5
dollars)
● In the village you will see a lot of alleys and artwork
● For lunch you will head to small restaurant called Meolakano (3000-8000 wons/3-8 dollars)
● You can visit coffee shops around there, Wooin Cafe is a popular place you can visit(4000-7000
won/4-7 dollars)
● For dinner you can head to Samsigdang (12,000-25,000 wons/12-25 dollars)
● Return to the guest house to rest
Day 2 - Haeundae Beach/Haeundae Market
● You’re going to eat breakfast at the guest house
● You are going to take the bus that is 3 minutes away from the guest house, this bus will take
you to another bus stop, you take the next bus and then you get off at Haeundae beach and
walk 2 minutes to reach the beach
● When you reach the beach you can walk around admiring the view Haeundae Beach has
● You can buy potato chips and feed the birds
● Walk to the main street and as you walk you will find Korean Street food, you can eat lunch
in a restaurant of your choice
● On this small plaza you will find a lot of things such as clothes and food
● At night you can head to Haeundae Market, you can walk around and buy souvenirs
● There is many restaurants and food stalls where you can eat dinner
● Then you’re going to head to the bus stop and return to the guest house
Day 3 - Oryukdo Skywalk
● You’re going to eat breakfast at the guest house then you’re going to head out to the bus stop
● When you arrive at your last bus stop you’re going to walk for about 5 minutes to the location
● You can walk on the U-shaped glass to see the ocean and the islands that are near the coast
● The U shaped glass is 35 meters above land, and you can walk downhill to take a better look at
the ocean and the path that leads to it
● After walking around you can head to a nearby restaurant called Bonjok and bibimbap
(8,000-16,000 wons/8-16 dollars)
● After eating you can head to KMart, you can buy Korean snacks
● After going to KMart you’ll return to the guest house and enjoy your snacks
● For dinner you can order delivery from a fried chicken place nearby called Busan Chicken
(15,000-20,000/15-20 dollars)
Day 4 - Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
● You’re going to eat breakfast at the guest house
● Then you’re going to head out to the bus stop that is about 2 minutes away and head to
your destination, your going to get off at Muhyeon Intersection, from there you're going
to take another bus, you’ll get off at Dong Busan Tourist Complex and wal about 13
minutes to your destination
● In the temple you can appreciate the ocean view
● You will be able to see many different statues
● It is said that one of your wishes will be answered through sincere prayers
● After you have explored the temple and what it has to offer you will eat lunch
● If you’re a fan of seafood you can eat at a restaurant that is about 40 minutes away by
bus(15,000-24,000 won/15-24 dollars)
● If you don’t like seafood or want to eat something different you can head to another
restaurant that is about 36 minutes away (10,000-20,000 wons/10-20 dollars)

● After you’ve eaten lunch you will continue exploring nearby places of your choice, you
can also eat at a restaurant of your choice(12,000-20,000 wons)
● After exploring you’re going to return to the guest house and get some rest
