The Weather
In class we have been studying the weather and weather disasters.
Flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, thunderstorms and lighting can
effect our homes, or safety and the food we eat. We have also
explored the science of weather forecasting. For this project you are
to gather information from the resources below regarding the
following topics.

 The causes/formation of severe weather conditions.

 The danger associated with each.
 Precautious that should be taken

Learn more about hurricanes from this national site.
 The National Hurricane Center- The National weather
center provides a great deal of informationat this site about
the current stormseason, tracking information, and weather
outlooks. Be sure to spend some time here.
 NOAA Photo Library-Tornadoes- Explore images of
tornadoes presented here. Look for similarities and
differences between the storm systems.
 Twister: The Tornado Story- Learn more about tornadoes
and the damage they cause from this interactive site.
