ACTIVITY 1 ( 2ND QUARTER)

What is the importance of reproduction in plants and animals?

_Either the reproductive process ensures that a plant or animal species it does not become
completely extinct. This feedback mechanism is essential for maintaining sustainability of the
environment and responsible for ensuring the survival as a species of life on Earth. almost all of
the species would have died out long ago there would have been no reproduction. _

___The processes are therefore gametophyte and sporophyte. Male and female gametes are
called by mitosis in separate independent multicellular structures in the haploid gametophyte.
The diploid zygote, which grows into the sporophyte, was produced while male and female
gametes filament.___

_The process by which parents generate new individuals is termed also as reproduction.
Reproduction practically guarantees that a plant or animal species it does not become
completely extinct on Earth. This process is very important for maintaining ecosystem stability
and the continuation of life on Earth. The original purpose of reproduction is to ensure the future
of a species. Sexual reproduction actually resulted in different variety across the whole of
species, which is something that assists even in the study of evolution._
