Praise and gratitude to the presence of Allah SWT who has given His mercy and guidance so
that I can complete my paper assignment entitled Leadership Problems in Beauty Salons in a
timely manner.
The purpose of writing this paper is to fulfill the duties of a lecturer in the Leadership course.
In addition, this paper also aims to add insight about Leadership Issues in Beauty Salons for
readers and also for writers.
I thank Mrs. Dr. dr. Linda Rosalina, S.Ked., M.Biomed. and Febri Silvia, S.Pd., M.Pd.T, as a
lecturer in the Leadership course who has given me this assignment so that I can add
knowledge and insight according to the field of study that I am in.
I also thank all those who have shared some of their knowledge so that I can finish this paper.
I realize that the paper I wrote is far from perfect.

PRELIMINARY
Many things in life do not go according to plan, whether in a business or personal context.
Ineffective team performance can be the cause of not achieving the company's vision and
mission.
Spending 8 hours a day in the office is a natural thing for employees. Interaction and
communication definitely occur at work, both with superiors and other co-workers. Not only
that, various differences in interests and personalities are of course also experienced in the
work environment.
Whether you like it or not, however, there will definitely be some obstacles or problems
while working. Even the problems that occur can have an impact on the work environment,
for example, there is work that is not optimal due to lack of communication. In addition,
conflict in the work environment can also impact on the imbalance in employee life.
Even though it is normal to occur, it is clear that this negative impact can harm the company.
As a result of these conflicts, employees can work unprofessionally and become an obstacle
to achieving the goals planned by the company.
1.3 Purpose
1. To find out what problems occur in the beauty salon
2. To provide a solution to the beauty salon
CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION
1. Treatment costs are quite expensive and the results are not as desired
Example: when doing a creambath there is no hair stream, only using a warm towel.
Nowadays, various types of businesses, especially beauty salons, are promoting through
social media such as Instagram, in order to attract consumers to do maintenance at their
salon.
As a result: the salon is experiencing a lack of visitors and salon turnover has decreased.
Solution: salon owners can recruit employees who are active in social media and also have
skills in the beauty sector.
For example: long nails and not washing hands before work.
Result: can cause soreness on the client's scalp and the client feels uncomfortable with the
salon's services.
Solution: try to keep your nails short and always keep your body clean.
As a result: all work is given to employees which results in employees being overwhelmed in
completing their work. And the client has to wait a while to do the treatment.
Solution: salon owners must recruit new workers according to their skills and be able to
divide the tasks of their employees.
6. Employees who are less competent
For example: When doing creambath, employees massage their heads too hard.
Result: the client becomes uncomfortable and feels pain in his head.
Solution: during the recruitment process, it is better to do training first or recruit beauty
school graduates who already have skills in the beauty field.

3.1 Conclusion
Problems that occur in beauty salons are caused by a lack of awareness from these employees
and a lack of communication between owners and employees.
3.2 Suggestions
I realize that this paper is far from perfect, therefore I really hope for constructive criticism
and suggestions for the perfection of this paper.
