Winter Skating By
January has skated quickly for our
class! February is a short month for a
lot of learning and fun. We will have
different activities related to black
history month and don’t forget about
Valentine’s day!

COME OUT AND SKATE! VALENTINES DAY

Hello class! Don’t forget about our Valentine’s Day is February 14th! Our party
upcoming field trip this month. On February will be in the morning alongside the other
20th we will be heading to the Bill Collier 2nd grade classes. In the morning we will be

ice skate as a class. Please ensure that you fellow classmates. Look forward to different

BLACK HISTORY MONTH we should read as a class!
February is Black History Month! In honor 1. Charlottes Web
of the month we will spend one morning a
week learning about well-known civil rights 2. James and the Giant Peach
activists such as Martin Luther King Jr,
Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman. Most 3. Holes
importantly we will be understanding why
they are important figures in history.
I hope you all enjoyed the past month jumping back into school after
Christmas break. We are halfway there and almost to the end of the
