Effects of Modular Print Distance Learning on the Mental Health of Grade 12
HUMSS Students.
Research Design
The use of this study is to determine the effects of modular distance learning. With the
assistance of questionnaire, the data that we require in this study was accumulated and
assessed. The said questionnaire is composed of questions, which will be
accommodate by assuring the attainable answer for the effects of the modular distance
learning to the mental health of Grade 12 HUMMS student by answering the given
questions.
Research Environment
The locale of the research study is the Calubcub 1.0 Senior High School that has 20
respondents. In this study, the researchers assure that the type of environment had
chosen for the survey is accurate with numbers of respondents who could contribute to
the study.
Respondents of the Study
Data were collected to know the effects of Modular Distance Learning to the Mental
Health of Grade 12-HUMMS student.
The researchers distributed the copies of questionaire through googleform to the
respondents in the following sections:HUMMS Section 1(5) HUMMS Section 2 (5)
HUMMS Section 3(10)
Purposive sampling techniques was utilized by the researcher in distributing the copies
of instruments to the respondents since researchers can purely consider the purpose of
the study, along with the understanding of the target respondets .According to an
informal interview conducted by a researcher,there was a student from HUMMS section
3 who has having mental health problems.This is for the reason that the Modular
Distance Learning can really affect student's mental health
The following statistical measures were used to analyze the data gathered.
Frequency-This method was used to organized tabulation/graphical representation of
the number of individuals in each category on the scale of measurement. [1] It allows
the researcher to have a glance at the entire data conveniently.
Percentage-This method was used to report when the responses have discrete
categories and when it is important to know how many of the participants gave a
particular answer..
Total number of respondents-This method was used to tell the actual number of
respondents that answered the questionaire.
