IELTS PRIZE Post

Please write a 300-word post on your own social media account (choose one:
FB/IG/Twitter) about Why take IELTS with the British Council and how would
it feel to win the British Council IELTS Prize? You can upload your post in
either English or your local language. After finishing it, please copy the link to
below field.

I took my first IELTS exam a year ago as I was preparing to

apply to a French business school in the field of sustainable

development. I was honoured to get an overall score of 7.5 and

was accepted to my ideal school, EDHEC, for a MSc in Global

and Sustainable Business. I chose the British Council(BC) for

my IELTS test firstly because of its reputation for abundant free

online resources and with this help I could easily prepare for the

IELTS test without spending lots of money. The second reason

was that the instructions and information on the website were

well organized and very clear, which reassured me that I would

not have to worry about any administrative errors or

misunderstandings if I were to take the IELTS test with BC.

In the end, the experience of taking the IELTS test with BC was

as clean, clear and efficient as I thought it would be.

I am going to France this summer to continue my studies and if I

am lucky enough to get the IELTS award, I will be able to focus

more on my studies so that I can achieve better results in my

research and work. I plan to complete my studies with minimal

financial help from my mom and not only would I be very

grateful for this award, but I would also like to show Taiwanese

students that studying abroad is not as difficult as they might

think.

To conclude, with the British Council IELTS prize, I could be

the real witness that when we focus on our goal and put a lot of

energy into pursuing it, the whole universe helps you to achieve

it.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good

works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians
