I. CONCEPT NOTES
Hygiene and sanitation are essential in achieving a sound and healthy body. Hygiene
refers to any practice or activity that one does to keep things healthy and clean; or simply
means personal cleanliness. Sanitation on the other hand means making something clean,
germ-free or sanitary. It usually refers to public cleanliness.
