Trust your guts

Once upon a time, there was this super creepy house in the middle of nowhere. Like, it was legit
abandoned and had cobwebs all over the place. It was said that the place was cursed, and
people who went inside never came back out.

One day while they were going back home they came across this abandoned house. But of
course, there's always that one sibling who thinks they're brave enough to explore the place.
That siblings was Uzziah and his little brother Mahlcolm who was a wimp.

(The brothers stopped by and entered the house)

Uzziah
(excitedly)
This place is amazing! I can't wait to fix it up and make it our own.

Mloc
(skeptically)
Are you sure about this, Uzziah? I mean, this place gives me the creeps.

Uzziah
(laughing)
Don't be such a baby, Mahlcolm. We can turn this place into a beautiful home.

Suddenly, they hear a strange noise coming from upstairs.

Mloc
(nervously)
Did you hear that?

Uzziah
(trying to be brave)
It's probably just the wind. Let's go check it out.

They make their way upstairs, and as they turn a corner, they see a ghostly figure standing at
the end of the hallway.

Uzziah
(screaming)
What the hell is that?!

Mloc
(grabbing her hand)
Let's get out of here!
But as they try to make their way down the stairs, they realize that the door is locked.

Uzziah
(panicking)
We're trapped! What are we going to do?

Mloc
(trying to stay calm)
We'll find another way out. Let's try the windows.

They make their way to a nearby window, but it won't budge.

Mloc
(frustrated)
This one won't open either. We're stuck.

Suddenly, they hear footsteps coming from the hallway.

Uzziah
(whispering)
Someone's coming. What are we going to do?

Mloc
(grabbing a nearby object)
We'll have to defend ourselves.

The footsteps get closer and closer, until a ghostly figure appears in the doorway.

Uzziah
(screaming)
It's the ghost!

Mloc
(swinging the object)
Get back!

But the object goes right through the ghostly figure, and it disappears.

Mloc
(realizing)
It's no use. We can't fight a ghost.

Uzziah
(tearfully)
What's going to happen to us?

Just then, the lights flicker on and off, and a voice echoes through the house.

VOICE
(sinisterly)
You will never leave this house alive.

Uzziah
(sobbing)
We're going to die here, aren't we?

Mloc
(holding him close)
We'll go together.

The lights go out completely, and we hear the sounds of the sibling's screams and struggle.The
ghosts closed in on them, and the couple screamed in terror as they were dragged away into
the darkness.

The next morning, the police found the sibling's car parked outside the abandoned house. But
when they searched the house, they found no trace of the siblings. To this day, nobody knows
what happened to them. But some say that on quiet nights, you can still hear their screams
echoing through the halls of the cursed old house.
