BUILDING MONETORING SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION :- Building Management System (BMS) is an intelligent controller-


based system that controls, monitors, operates & manages the HVAC and other building
services. It is also termed as Building Automation System (BAS) or Building Management
& Control System (BMCS). It provides safety & comfortable environment in the building
along with energy-saving & efficiency.

These are the operations mainly requested to BMS supplier in addition
to the above control operation units. It includes

Fire Alarm System (FAS) :-


The fire alarm system mainly consists of fire or gas detecting devices. It
is basically a safety system to warn people of any abnormal conditions in
the building.

The devices mainly detect fire, Smoke, Carbon Monoxide, and other
hazardous gases in building premises.

CCTV :-
This is one of the safety systems provided under BMS for Intruder
Detection & Alarm generation.

The cameras record the data for up to several months and stores it on
digital hard disks. The data is then utilized for security investigations.
 DVR :- A Digital Video Recorder (DVR) records video to local storage
devices, most commonly a hard drive. DVR can record analog video
sources on-site or capture video from a digital source. DVRs can be
connected to analog cameras via coaxial cables, enabling them to be
accessed remotely.

 NVR :- A network video recorder (NVR) is a computer system that


records video footage and stores it on a hard disk, a mass storage
device, or cloud storage. NVRs are paired with digital internet protocol
(IP) cameras to create a video surveillance system.
TYPES OF CAMERA :-

1. Dome camera:- Dome security cameras are easily recognizable


for their circular, dome encasing. Dome surveillance cameras are
highly versatile and can be used in both indoor and outdoor
settings, providing unparalleled coverage for nearly any use case.

2. Dome HD Camera :- 2 mega pixel ,(Night Vision)

3. Bullet Camera (4megapixel):- A bullet camera is a small camera


designed for security applications. The name comes from the small size of
these cameras resembling bullets. The camera is typically connected to a
surveillance system. These cameras allow businesses and individuals to
monitor their property for suspicious activity
4. IP camera :- Internet Protocol 64 megapixel full HD camera , gate
no.1 and 2. An IP camera, or Internet protocol camera, is a type of
digital security camera that receives and sends video footage via
an IP network.
