The statement, which was presented by the President of the Philippines in 1944, was an illustration of
an everyday scenario in the topic. The focus is mostly focused on youngsters and their environment. It
emphasized as to how much youngsters can contribute for our society, the Philippines. I observed that
President Jose P. Laurel used the literature of Jose Rizal, our great patriot, to motivate and inspire the
young people in his talk. As a young person, it is intriguing to learn how other people carry out their
responsibilities as Filipino citizens. Since the speech employed context cues for every profound
statement, I can say that I understood it. I ought to comprehend and be aware of how this country has
come. I really would like to absorb if the young people of the Philippines are truly the country’s future.
The president made a similar point in his utterance. What ought to have been done to benefit us. The
speech is intended for the Filipino Youth, the vision of today. To appeal to the children of the Nation and
encourage everyone to be cognizant of what’s the current situation of our national sovereignty. Either
unbiased or opinionated discourse is possible. It lost its objectivity because he is speaking to all youths,
no matter their socioeconomic standing, that became biased for Filipino youth are not just residents of
our country. As I read the state of the union address, I am more aware about what I could do for my
nation because of how well it is conveyed. The Philippines is not a flawless nation, and neither are its
citizens; as a result, we must speak up and engage throughout each dispute now and in the hereafter. As
a young person, I must have conviction in my aimed at affecting the necessary changes. We are
developing not just as ourselves but also as a state, thus it is essential to remain conscious and voice
moral courage.
