bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in


different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and


make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar chart compares the proportion of people in Australian according to
age and gender who exercised on a regular basis in the year 2010
It is apparent from the chart that the amount of women was bigger than the
percentage of men. Next, male aged 15 to 24 and female aged 45 to 54 was (anh

Looking at the chart in more detail, men aged 15 to 24 ranged from almost a half,
compared to 47.7% of women. By contrast, the age 45 to 54 was only the group in
which 52.5% of the proportion of male was higher than the percentage of male, at
around 43.1%. Next, male and female aged 65 and over made up 46.7 and 47.1,
respectively.
Turning to the three remaining groups, the proportion of women aged 25 to 34 was
rather than the percentage of men, at 48.9% and 42.2%. Nearly a half of the
percentage of women aged 35 to 44 and 55 and 64 was the highest figure, while the
proportion of men was 39.5% and 45.1%, making it the lowest figure. (192 words)
