Academic Task No.: CA-1 Academic Task Title: Provide Insurance policy
HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance is a legal agreement that commits an insurer to
covering all or a portion of a person's medical expenses in return for a
premium. More specifically, health insurance often covers the
insured's out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs, medical
procedures, and occasionally dental care. Health insurance can either
pay the healthcare provider directly or compensate the insured for
costs related to illness or damage.
Interview questions
Q1-what were the risks you faced during COVID-19?
ANS- Yes as working in an ipd department there were many risks like
infections related to covid, safety concerns provided by the hospital
and there were like unavailability of beds in the hospital during covid
due to which attendants of the patient come to us by breaking all the
policies of the hospital which was the major cause of spreading
1
infection and even sometimes they started screaming on us which was
really tough for us to handle the situation at that time.
Q2-what are the risks you commonly face in IPD and OPD
department?
Ans- Infection is one of the major risk in both the departments then
there is miscommunication between the healthcare worker and
attendant like it could be related to money or sometimes they don’t
understand the policies or are against the policies, terms and
conditions before admission(pay money in advance) and again stated
screaming on us.
Q3-As we know that there are many diseases which are
transmissible like TB, severe cough and cold, allergies so do you
think there should be some changes to be done in the opd
department?
Ans-Yes there are many cases if I tell about one case there was a
patient who was having severe symptoms of viral and he was not
wearing a mask and was not sanitized properly due to which OPD
health worker also got infected as well patients who were waiting in
the waiting area also got infected which was a major risk problem
faced so I think there should be some separate waiting lounge for
them and they should not be allowed in the hospital without any
mask.
Q4- If there is any medical negligence happening in the hospital
have you faced any risks related to it?
Ans-Many times this was the major issue faced as I am from the non-
medical area and if any medical negligence happens in the hospital so
attendants first come to us and start shouting at us and do physical
violence on us and if we try to explain to them they don’t understand
the process. So for this there should be proper safety for us as well as
for this they should consult the doctor for the matter.
2
Q5-As a healthcare employee if any mishappening happened with
you what should be done?
Ans-I think if I faced any mishappening like any accident happened in
the hospital or I faced any physical violence by the attendant of the
patient then I should be provided proper insurance.
