4P SULAM COURSE
DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK
ABSTRACT
In implementing SULAM into curriculum there are 3 key components and 3 stakeholders involved. The key components are course content,
meaningful service and critical reflection and the stakeholders involved are lecturer, student and community partner. Other criteria that need to be
meet such as SULAM must be implement minimum 20 hours in a semester, the structured service activities must achieve desired learning
outcome, and others.
Therefore, this article proposed a framework of SULAM course development process. This framework compile all components and stakeholders
involved in SULAM and categorized into 4P – i) Perancangan (Planning) ii) Perbincangan (Discussion) iii) Pelaksanaan (Implementation) iv) Penilaian
Refleksi (Reflection Evaluation). Every phases have several items and task that need to be accomplished in order to complete SULAM. By having this
framework, the implementation of SULAM will be more structured and will encourage more lecturers to implement SULAM and achieve
university’s third mission which is university for society.
